We are looking for someone to join us in strengthening relationships with our broad base of local Christian partner organisations carrying out Gospel inspired work in the region. Who can bring experience of managing, monitoring and evaluation of locally-owned programmes, to support the development of high-impact projects. Has an understanding and awareness of the context, dynamics, and challenges of working in the Middle East. Alongside the skills and ability to identify compelling messages from partnership communications to gain support, through prayer, donations and support for our advocacy work.
Suitable candidates will be:
- Educated to degree level equivalent.
- Highly collaborative, team player prepared to contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
- Inspired by the witness of Christians in the Middle East and passionate about changing the lives of people living in grinding poverty, injustice, disability, trauma and displacement caused by conflict, and other challenges.
- Willing to carry out overseas travel to the region 3-4 times a year.
- Have a sympathy with Embrace’s Christian inspired values, vision and ready with compassion and commitment to serve and work to support Embrace’s Christian mission.
- Advanced or intermediate Arabic would be advantageous.

The Catalyst Collective is an innovative and rapidly growing non-profit organisation. Since our pilot programme launched in January 2021, we have expanded significantly. The Role
As an Active Sports Officer, you will assist in the day-to-day operation and management of The Hub, the largest, most popular outdoor sports facility in central London.
Delivering outstanding customer service, you will create opportunities for under-represented groups to engage in sport and physical activity, generating income from sports bookings, events and fitness licensing in Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill.

The role is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors, in London and nationally. This includes partnership development, online site listing, and matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of some corporate programmes. Also to consider safeguarding measures, fundraising, meeting growth targets and leading all aspects of mentor management. The role will help to establish a pipeline in line with 1MM’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
1MM Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors main tasks include:

Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

The role is largely responsible for delivery of 1MM Mentoring Programmes. This includes partnership development, matching mentors/mentees, and oversight of mentoring relationships. Also to consider safeguarding measures, fundraising, and meeting growth targets. The role will help to establish a pipeline in line with 1MM’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
1MM Regional Manager for Programme Delivery’s main tasks include:

Helping 1MM to scale by helping establish over 150 new, high quality mentoring matches each quarter. (A match means that the mentor and the mentee have completed 1MM’s training and have had their first meeting)

Meeting all quality assurance KPIs.

Maximising conversion, retention, and mitigate drop-off

Ongoing support for key stakeholder partners, including Youth Partners, and maintaining strong relationships.

Securing at least one new partner per quarter.

Becoming familiar with the 1MM Platform, using it comfortably for ongoing administration and providing support to users.

Providing regular reports on progress related to the role.

One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is looking for someone with experience of developing and delivering a successful support programme to service users in a prison, probation or social care setting to join us as an Older Prisoners’ Activities Manager within The Salvation Army, this position is called CAMEO Manager.
In partnership with HMP Liverpool and Liverpool City Council we run CAMEO (Come and Meet Each Other) a programme which offers a supportive, caring and stimulating environment for older people in prison. As Manager you will be in charge of setting up an innovative and engaging day centre which will provide meaningful activity and positive relationships, improves wellbeing, reduces social isolation and offers opportunities for rehabilitative interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with service users and foster effective stakeholder relationships with internal and external agencies in order to develop innovative and collaborative approaches to meet the needs of the prisoner cohort
- Be responsible for the overall development and continuous improvement of the service, keeping updated with and implementing best practice to maximise the effectiveness of the service
- Provide effective line management and support to the Assistant Manager
- As required, undertake and ensure that all relevant administration, data collection and analysis is collated and reported on, including monthly and annual reports to line management

Main Responsibilities:
To work within the UK Programmes by providing support to Masjid Benchmarking, organising online Seminars, Support to Icare, Masjid Benchmarking, Education (Madaris) oversee and monitor Masjid Connect and Islamophobia monitoring, Publicity, supporting other areas of work of UKIM central team that may be delegated e.g. Imam CPD, Dawah, Tarbiyah.
Essentially the role is to support the Head of UK programmes to implement a varied and diverse programme of engagement to support improvement of the different programmes, masjids, branches, and departments in UKIM that require the support from UK Programmes Team.
The post is varied and ever changing depending on the needs of the members and programmes within UKIM.
Key Duties:
• To support Masjid and Branch Improvement through enabling them to undertake the self-assessment audit and then to deliver a development day based on the self-audit.
• To organise training both face to face and online that will enable masjids and branches to develop and move forward in their work programme.
• To bring on board speakers that will enable mosques to develop.
• To engage with the Dawah programme and to develop a robust programme of support to meet the needs of the department and different stakeholders. The parameters of this are still to be agreed and may involve some of the following areas it serves including new Muslims, design new curriculum, develop resources, re-develop & update websites, Unity Iftars, teach new Muslims & train daees. Based on your capacity and availability of resources to outsource where appropriate.
