About the role

This is a new role, and offers an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and highly ambitious fundraising team, enabling you to build your knowledge and expertise across a range of income streams. This will include working across trusts and foundations, corporate partners, and major donors.

As Philanthropy and Partnerships Fundraiser, you will play an integral role in the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, ensuring we reach our ambitious fundraising target. You will provide support to the team by undertaking thorough research, prospecting into new funding opportunities, coordinating, and managing our Small Trusts Programme, our Small Corporate Partner Programme, and The Polaris Club, the charity’s giving club.

As this is a new role, there will be the opportunity to support the team across all tasks as needed, and therefore the role may develop and grow with time and experience.

As a Trusts Officer, you will be a part of our dynamic and high performing Major Gifts and Special Events team. We have a well established programme raising circa £5 million a year across the department to fund our vital work but big ambitions to grow that further by 2025. About the role

This role is part of the trusts and statutory team of eight. In this role you will coordinate trust fundraising activity within a large portfolio of funders, identifying trusts and foundation prospects and writing high quality proposals and reports in collaboration with supportive colleagues in the team and across the charity. It is a permanent, full time position with an established portfolio of four and five figure trust donors, and the opportunity to grow this significantly in the coming years. Together with our other Trusts Officer, you’ll oversee the small trusts programme of regular supporters, create tailored approaches to bigger funders in your portfolio, and support other team projects and cultivation events.

What you’ll do

• Cultivate strong working relationships with a portfolio of trust and foundation supporters increasing their engagement with and support of the charity.

• Maintain an active portfolio of small and mid-sized trust funders, and research new trusts increasing your own portfolio. 

• Create clear and concise proposals and reports for trusts in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, including for project and region-specific funding requests.

• Identify the most appropriate approaches for specific trusts and opportunities to increase giving and secure multi-year gifts, thanking promptly and appropriately.

Over the last 4 years, our Support & Information Service has seen significant growth, and developed to become a leading source of support for patients, family members, siblings and friends of patients.  Our Support & Information team provide enduring support and ensure that this can be accessed at any point in a primary bone cancer journey and by anyone affected.

Our aim is to increase the reach of the service further, ensuring that all patients diagnosed in the UK have the opportunity to access our Support & Information Service.  The Support & Information Officer will play a pivatol role in achieving this through building lasting relationships with both patients and families and healthcare professionals.

The UK Legal team works to ensure that safe routes exist for all people seeking asylum. The team specialises in providing free legal advice and representation to unaccompanied children and families seeking asylum in the UK.

The Head of UK Legal Team will be a UK-based qualified solicitor or barrister or OISC Level 3 accredited caseworker or IAAS Supervising Senior caseworker with experience of working within the UK in a legal capacity, specifically in the area of asylum, immigration and refugee family reunion.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a high performing team of immigration lawyers, casework supervisors, and caseworkers. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Identify and build strategic relationships to generate income from new corporate supporters.

· A focused and strategic approach to identifying, researching, and targeting prospective corporate partners.

Additional Information:

Role Summary 

Bliss is the UK’s leading national charity for babies born premature or sick, and we are looking for a skilled Trusts and Foundations Programme Lead to join our enthusiastic and passionate Fundraising team. You will bring your skills in bid writing, stewardship, and high-value relationship management to deepen our engagement with trusts and foundations, and to identify and secure new opportunities for funding.

Historically, Bliss has worked with external consultant support to manage our trusts and foundations fundraising. This is a new role within the organisation as we look to take a more meaningful, relationship-based approach to our trusts and foundations donors. Overview of the role

The Executive & HR Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring that BRAC’s office in Europe operates efficiently and effectively to deliver its mission to support BRAC’s work. About the role:
 

The Philanthropy & Events Executive will support our Philanthropy Lead and Managing Director to effectively manage existing match funding partner (“Champion”)  relationships, and help to develop new Champion relationships. You will support with Champion onboarding, stewarding and reporting as well as research, prospecting, and business development activities.  You will also manage events for high-value supporters, and play a key role in helping us grow the number of Champions through our events, such as our annual Big Give Christmas Party and Philanthropy Lunches. 

About you:

You will be an organised self-starter with exceptional personal and communication skills. As a “tech first” organisation, we’re looking for someone with exceptional digital skills, experience in data administration and management and able to collate, segment and analyse donor information.  You will also have experience with CRM systems (experience using Salesforce would be advantageous) and processes to help manage the journey of our match funding partners (“Champions “). An understanding of the UK charity and philanthropy sector would be helpful.
