We seek a graduate with excellent communication skills for our Recruitment team. You must be able to manage data, multitask, and adapt to dynamic environments. Enhance Frontline’s social worker training selection process with autonomy and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The Recruitment team is responsible for sourcing, selecting and hiring for 500 places for Approach Social Work (previously known as the Frontline programme) in local authorities across England.
We think the internship at Frontline is unlike other internships. You’ll be given plenty of opportunity to develop key skills for your future career, while also holding a core role within the team. You will be joining us at our busiest time and so will have day to day coordinator responsibilities throughout the year. This makes it a great first step into your career as you’ll have real practical examples to take forward. You will work with the Selection Manager and Selection Officers to ensure the delivery of a highly effective and efficient recruitment process and to ensure the candidate experience is positive throughout.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Facilitate at Approach Social Work assessment centres, supporting assessors and sharing responsibility for ensuring days run smoothly and consistently
- Manage the logistics involved in planning and delivering over 40 assessment centre days (e.g. responding to candidate queries, monitoring candidate sign up, scheduling assessors)
- Act as first point of contact for candidates experiencing technical difficulties with IT systems used as part of selection process.
A little bit about you
The role would suit a recent graduate with experience in event planning, logistics coordination, or customer service. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and excels at managing multiple tasks and priorities. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can support candidates through the selection process, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth operations at assessment centers.
We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.
East London Rape Crisis provides free, confidential specialist support for women and girls who have been raped or experienced any other form of sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives, regardless of whether or not they have reported to the police. We offer confidential and independent support. Services include advocacy, emotional and practical support, one-to-one counselling and group work. The service is provided across Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Redbridge, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

In the role of Counsellor, you will provide one to one counselling and group therapy to survivors of sexual violence. You will work as part of a growing feminist Rape Crisis service that is developing to meet the needs of women and girls. Counselling is delivered face to face, online and via the phone.
We are looking for counsellors who can provide a commitment of a minimum of 10 and maximum of 24 hours a week of counselling services.

About the role
The post holder will provide support to clients who lack capacity and to implement the safeguards of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 or the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. They will provide non-instructed advocacy (NIA) support to people who lack capacity to make specific decisions and who have no-one else to support them. About you
You will have significant experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children, either within health or social care setting, or indirectly, for example as a carer. Knowledge of the role of the Independent Mental Capacity Advocate as defined in the Mental Capacity Act 2005 is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join our Wellbeing team and work across two new projects aimed at improving older people's lives. Working closely with Age UK's Network of 120+ local and independent Age UK partners, this role will support the delivery of projects across their life cycle, ranging from the implementation of funder-led reporting requirements to liaising with partners on the impact the project has had on their beneficiaries.

We’re part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence. We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us.
But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone.
Right now, we’re looking for a self-motivated individual to join us at our Recovery Near You service in Wolverhampton. This is a substance misuse service that works with adults aged 18+ and is run in partnership with Nacro and Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust. Your challenge? To provide advice, support, advocacy and key work for recovery plans and undertake elements of assessment and case management as directed. You’ll work not only from Aquarius offices, but also in primary care, arrest referral, hospital and youth settings and other outreach settings as required. And, all the while, we’ll expect you to operate in a way that recognises and values diversity and understands the functional model of substance misuse, the Recovery Agenda and the problems caused by alcohol and drug misuse.
Preferably with a NVQ 2/3 in Social Care, or willing to attain this, you are used to working to policy and procedural requirements that include child protection, vulnerable adults, confidentiality and health & safety. We’ll also be looking for good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and fulfil data requirements. A flexible approach is important too, as is commitment to taking a client centred approach to providing services and working in a way that recognises and values diversity.
This is a full time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.

Stema (Charity No 1204510) is seeking an experienced CEO for our charity pioneering disruptive approaches to global health and sustainable development. The CEO will report directly to our trustees, growing our small and dynamic global team, driving Stema forwards by expanding and diversifying our funding sources, and developing innovative research and products.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation, with:

About Stema:
Stema is a small Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) founded to advance the education of the public in the field of global health. Our research centres upon community health, positive health, participatory methods and agentic approaches. Our mission is to catalyse positive disruptions in the field of global health through publishing research and developing tools and partnerships. We are a small, international team of academics, entrepreneurs and development professionals.
Our focus over the last year has been developing alternative approaches to community health and sustainable development, leading to the development of the concept of community positive health and creation of an index to measure community positive health. Our approach is informed by extensive participatory fieldwork in low-resource settings around the world, for example Kenya, Peru and Sierra Leone. Our work is supported by rigorous scientific research in partnership with leading academic institutions, NGOs and in-country research institutions, for example University College London, Oregon State University, and Safe Water and Aids Project.
Stema has been backed by a single funding source to date. We are now looking to expand and diversify our revenue streams, providing an exciting opportunity for the CEO to develop and implement a sustainable fundraising strategy. We envisage that: (i) fundraising and (ii) the potential development and commercialisation of tools and technologies linked to our research may be pathways towards a sustainable business model that is consistent with our charitable objectives - but the ultimate strategy will be formed by the CEO.
As part of a fundraising strategy, the successful candidate will develop impact metrics that communicate the value of Stema’s work to potential donors - for example, by tying our impact to the Sustainable Development Goals, which will be familiar to funders. We might communicate our impact in relation to the following goals, but the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape, adapt and refine these goals.

Essential Skills:

Experience as a CEO, ideally at a charity or not-for-profit, with commercial and fundraising experience and a strong interest in global health or research; or

Extensive experience at a director-level position in global health or a related field, with client-facing and fundraising experience and professional qualifications such as an MBA.

5 years fundraising experience and a track record of successful resource mobilisation for social impact.

A minimum of 5 years of experience managing teams at a senior level.

Could you be our new Delivery Team Senior Manager?
This is a temporary role to provide senior programme and people management for our delivery team at the British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR). The role is fixed term during our Head of Policy and Programme’s maternity leave.
BIHR is made up of a talented and experienced Delivery Team who are Human Rights Act (HRA) practice specialists. For this post we are looking for an excellent manager, committed to supporting a small, busy, expert team to deliver Human Rights Act (HRA) practice, communications and policy work.
Your operational management and strategic thinking are the primary skills and experience needed. You do not need to be a subject expert in the HRA; that is the job of our Delivery Team. You must however, like all of BIHR’s team, be a champion for our work and bring the skills, knowledge and experience needed to support our team in the planning and delivery of BIHR’s objectives
This is an exciting role for someone with established management experience in the charity/voluntary sector, with a keen interest in UK human rights.
