About the role
Across your geographic area of South East Wales, you will:
- Identify, develop, and steward supporter relationships with businesses, fundraising groups, and high value prospects.
- Understand supporter motivations, identifying opportunities across the Charity that inspire and engage, enabling them to achieve their fundraising goals and reach their potential.
- Identify and steward corporate prospects using a pipeline process resulting in applying for and converting opportunities.
- Be proactive within your area to identify opportunities for fundraising and raise awareness of the Charity.
- Manage supporters effectively using our CRM system (OneCRM) to provide excellent stewardship.
- Meet agreed financial targets, provide monthly financial progress reports, and put mitigation plans in place for any shortfall.
Promote the BHF’s activities and campaigns to raise awareness and drive income.

Working arrangements
This is 12 month fixed term contract covering family leave.
- This is a field-based role covering South East Wales. You will need to live in South East Wales or be able to relocate to this region.

- There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter to source, develop and deliver compelling personal stories from across SSAFA’s volunteer network and varied charitable service, to tell our story of who we help and the difference that we make to over 66,000 people’s lives every year.
Working within the PR team, the Case Study Manager has a key role in raising our profile, improving how different audiences understand our work and building relationships with key stakeholders both regionally and nationally.
The role will need to develop strong, collaborative relationships across the organisation, including with our SSAFA volunteer network, as well as with other charitable organisations across the sector.
About the team
The PR team is a small but dynamic group of individuals with strong skillsets across press release and article writing, selling in pitches and campaign planning. The team is a mix of ex-forces and civilians, and they are always sharing knowledge and expertise with each other.
You will work closely across all directorates within SSAFA to garner information and source case studies for each of the PR needs across regions and services.

To carry out this role successfully you will have:
- Degree or equivalent
- Experience working in a busy press office, PR team or with a journalism background

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Individual Giving Manager to join the Fundraising team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, for 12 months. This role is critical for the success of our income generation activities and acquisition of new supporters.
We are looking for a target driven team player who will skilfully and tactfully manage a variety of stakeholder relationships, including our face-to-face agency partners and volunteers. This is an exciting time to join the team as we look to build on successful growth of existing supporter acquisition initiatives.
About the team
This role sits within the Fundraising, Marketing & Communications team. Reporting to the Head of Supporter Engagement, you will also work collaboratively with the Individual Giving Manager – Donor Development, Individual Giving Officer, Supporter Care Co-ordinator, and the Events team. You will also work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including our Branch Network and Regional Hubs to connect with new supporters across the UK and maximise opportunities.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of:
- Experience of developing and running successful individual giving programmes to recruit new donors.
- Experience of managing external relationships at all levels, for example with suppliers, agencies, including effective negotiation on costs and contracts.
- Experience of managing face-to-face fundraising programme.
- Experience of lottery fundraising.
- Experience of working with a supporter database.
- Numerical skills and ability to use Excel and/or PowerBI for tracking, reporting and analysis.

You’ll work as part of a dispersed IT Support Team providing support and advice to colleagues within the Fund helping them to ensure that we’re able to help as many communities as possible to deliver life changing outcomes to those in need. Based in the Newcastle office and reporting to the IT Support Manager. The support you provide will be both remote and in person. Internal training will be provided.
The IT Support Team fulfils a range of roles and responsibilities, and whilst playing your part in delivering life changing funding you won’t have a typical day. As a first point of contact for all our customers you’ll engage with them to fully understand all their needs and provide support and solutions to fulfil and exceed their expectations.
Working closely with colleagues across the department, the IT Support Team ensures our customers benefit from an excellent enabling service provision in incident management and resolution, and request fulfilment. Whilst taking ownership and managing support tickets using our Service Portal, you’ll follow established protocols escalating issues as needed. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join the Fundraising, Marketing & Communications team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity on a six-month contract. This role will support the Head of Marketing & Brand to deliver impactful, integrated marketing and brand activations with great results.
You will work on strategies and campaigns that serve the objectives of all areas within SSAFA, so your expertise will help raise awareness of crucial services, recruit volunteers, support fundraising initiatives and promote understanding of SSAFA’s work. Most notably you will develop the strategic approach and activation of a new brand proposition in the Autumn. This is an incredibly important piece of work for the charity, so the role will suit somebody with experience in driving a brand previously.
You will work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues across the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications directorate, taking briefs and translating them into finalised marketing activations. Alongside the Head of Marketing & Brand you will work closely with the rest of the team, particularly the Senior Marketing Officer.

You will be joining a well-established team of marcomms professionals, ranging from designers to case study managers and social media experts. You will have plenty of opportunity to interact with other internal departments, such as Fundraising or members of the volunteer network.

To hit the ground running and carry out this role successfully you will have:
- Demonstrable experience managing marketing or brand strategies and campaigns that achieve engagement or brand visibility metrics.

As an occupational requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010, the post holder must be female under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 Part 7 to meet the needs of the majority of our service users.
Job summary: The primary role is:
- To work with individuals/families referred to Savera UK’s 1-1 Direct Intervention Service, as a result of ‘honour’-based abuse and harmful practices or any other culturally specific abuse. Being responsible for client safeguarding and providing advocacy and emotional intervention.
- To share responsibility with other team members in providing and delivering wellbeing/welfare programmes to Savera UK clients and to help them towards their new beginning, empowerment, self-help and independence.
- To contribute to and participate in the wider Savera UK team and organisation’s activities.
The primary functions are safeguarding, advocacy and emotional intervention (60% of the role). Other functions include wellbeing and welfare intervention (25% of the role) and a contribution to and participation in wider team and organisation activities, which are detailed in the job description and person specification (15% of the role).
* Location: The post holder’s location will be Liverpool based but they will also need to work where relevant/required, including traveling. A full, clean driving licence, and use of your own car is essential and mileage would be reimbursed.
Please note that due to the nature of Savera UK’s work and for security purposes, they do not disclose the location of the post until the successful candidate is appointed. However, we can confirm that Savera UK’s registered head office is around 30 minutes’ walk or 15/20 minutes by car/public transport from where this role will be based.

We have an amazing opportunity to play a key role in shaping exceptional supporter experiences through the design and delivery of a bespoke portfolio of engagement events. Working closely with our High Value fundraisers, you will ensure that events meet their engagement targets, while making current and future supporters feel valued, informed and inspired by their impact.
The role will be primarily responsible for supporting the delivery of virtual and face to face events for our Legacy supporters, as well as designing and delivering new Legacy events. You will also support the day to day running of our wider High Value events for major donors and senior representatives from corporates, trusts and foundations.

We are looking for an individual who is proactive, creative and highly organised. You will be comfortable working calmly to tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
You will have a real passion for events and be curious about external trends, including virtual and hybrid events. A confident and collaborative communicator, you will have strong internal relationship building skills, and be comfortable leading small project teams to shape individual event ideas, including leading ideation and innovation sessions.

About the role:
This role is based at our office in Preston, with cover in the Accrington area as required. Once you have completed training & probation period you can apply for hybrid working, all travel costs to and from appointments from your office base will be reimbursed. As an IDVA you will:
- Focus on victims at risk of harm, providing a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service
- Support victims face to face or by telephone
- Develop individual safety plans to meet client's needs as identified
- Provide advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to victims including legal & civil options, housing, health & finance & support through the criminal justice system
- Participate in multi agency meetings providing the voice of the client
You will need:
- An understanding of domestic abuse & it's impact
- Knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
- Knowledge of Safeguarding issues & the legal responsibilities surrounding these
- Theoretical, practical & procedural knowledge of civil & criminal justice remedies
- Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework
- Ability to manage a complex caseload, able to prioritise effectively
- Strong crisis management skills, able to deal with stressful & difficult situations
- Good communication, negotiation & advisory skills, both written & verbal
- Good IT skills including, Microsoft Office & Case Management systems
