About the role
A key role leading the risk, performance and legal functions within Frontline AIDS. The role embeds a risk management approach across all organisation functions, ensures best practice in compliance, contractual management and data protection. Works closely with others to ensure consistent and effective programme delivery practice. The role spearheads business continuity planning and security management.
We are looking for an inspirational manager who will bring significant experience and a track-record of delivering risk management plans in large complex organisations. You will be passionate about driving forward improvements in the system of internal controls, risk management and governance across the organisation. With strong analytical skills and proven experience of risk management leadership, you will lead and develop our response to anti-corruption, safeguarding, security, health & safety, and other concerns.
As an experienced leader, you will be effective at developing strong relationships with teams across the organisation. You are committed to fostering a high performance culture, and will delegate thoughtfully to give colleagues real accountability and authority.

We’ve been on the frontline of the world’s response to HIV and AIDS for over 25 years, working with marginalised people who are denied HIV prevention and treatment simply because of who they are and where they live.
Set up in 1993 to work with community groups in the countries most affected by the global AIDS epidemic, we’ve continually adapted our approach, looking for innovative ways to break down the barriers that marginalise people living with, or at risk of acquiring, HIV. Are you the Frontliner we’re looking for?
We are looking for someone who has:
- Qualified to degree level in a relevant field to risk management and compliance.
- Post-graduate and/or professional qualification in a relevant field, including accounting, law, audit, or risk
- Extensive experience of working in a risk management/compliance/assurance function within a sizeable organisation, with strategic and operational accountability.
- Experience of managing and maintaining a risk case management system to ensure appropriate management of issues.
- Experience in developing and managing programme oversight and governance mechanisms that drive consistent approaches and strong performance.
- Experience of rolling out dedicated risk management and compliance training and supporting and guiding staff in developing risk registers and appropriate mitigating actions for risks.
- Experience of contract review and drafting of new clauses for contracts
- Experience of working with international donor rules and requirements and supporting/guiding project teams in managing projects in accordance with these rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of best practice in process review and improvement.
- Senior Experience in setting, reviewing, simplifying organisational policies and procedures and encouraging compliance.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

About you:
We’re looking for a confident and inspirational leader with:

About Your New Ministry Context
The Diocese covers the city of Nottingham, the county of Nottinghamshire, with a few parishes in South Yorkshire. As part of the Church of England, we serve over a million people through a network of 300 churches and 73 church schools.
Based at Jubilee House in the beautiful market town of Southwell, the Diocesan Board of Finance (DBF) is the registered charity and company limited by guarantee through which the Diocese operates. This is an exciting time for the Diocese. In November 2024, we secured £33.16 million from the Church of England's Strategic Mission and Ministry Investment Board for a decade-long Church Growth Programme. This significant investment will fund church revitalisation, evangelism, discipleship, vocations and the development of younger leaders across our communities. The new Finance & Operations Director will play a pivotal role in stewarding these resources and ensuring ongoing financial sustainability.
Your Role as Finance Leader Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead the finance function as a trusted partner to both the Jubilee House Leadership Team and the Bishop's Core Team. This is a strategic role where you'll shape the financial direction of the Diocese while providing hands-on support to parishes navigating financial challenges. You will combine strategic financial stewardship with operational oversight, ensuring the Diocese’s resources are effectively managed in alignment with the vision and mission. You will work collaboratively across the organisation, with frequent and detailed parish engagement, to shape and implement financial strategy, while also leading the administration of financial initiatives which include, giving, strategic operations and property-related activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Collaboratively support the development and implementation of financial strategies

Who We're Looking For Professional Excellence
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Essential Faith Requirement There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be a committed Christian in the Anglican tradition or another member denomination of Churches Together in England. This role oversees the strategy and execution of IFAW’s direct mail and face-to-face fundraising for four European markets: Germany, France, UK and The Netherlands. This role also designs and executes strategies to re-engage long lapsed supporters in all markets. Collaborate with the digital acquisition team to amplify results and leverage the strategies to attract new donors and reactivate lapsed donors. The manager collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and in alignment with organizational goals.
Role and Responsibilities
· Lead all facets of direct mail new donor acquisition and reactivation programs, including strategic planning, budget oversight, creative strategy, vendor management, and process optimization.
· Support and participate in direct response TV campaigns and leverage that strategy to amplify results in direct mail and face to face channels.
· Develop and implement country-specific acquisition and reactivation strategies to maintain or grow donor file size in alignment with departmental goals.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
· 5+ years of direct marketing experience, preferably within a nonprofit or fundraising context
· Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a track record of self-motivation, effective time management, and team development
· Proven success managing cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute complex projects on schedule and within scope
· Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity, persuasion, and donor engagement

Horatio’s Garden charity is looking for an experienced fundraising leader to develop this newly created role within the fundraising and events directorate. We are a growing, award winning, national charity delivering garden-based support to improve the mental health of people with spinal injuries across the UK.
You will be joining the charity in an incredibly exciting year, as we launch our new 5 year strategy and head into a Capital Appeal for our tenth garden in Wakefield.
Our newly created role of Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships will play a critical part in this next chapter, leading the development of our existing high value fundraising portfolio to support our growth ambitions. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, operating in a small team environment and requiring the postholder to work with the Director of Income Generation and CEO to shape strategy, build relationships, and deliver income directly.
The role will work across major donors, trusts & foundations and corporate partnerships, supporting a talented team of four fundraisers: Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts & MD), Senior Regional Partnerships Manager, Trust & Foundations Fundraiser and Trusts & Foundations Assistant.
The charity has a history of building successful high value relationships, and we are looking for someone with the experience and ambition to help us build on this solid foundation to deliver our 5-year strategy and complete our core capital appeal programme.
You will need to have significant fundraising experience gained in a charitable environment across major donors, trusts and foundations and corporate partnerships. You will work with the team to develop compelling case for supports, identify and cultivate prospects and build partnerships to secure high value gifts.
