We’re expanding our Income Generation team with this new role, which will be critical in securing funding to enable us to support more people, in very different ways.
As the Trusts and Foundations Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our fundraising efforts, generating income through grant applications to fuel our essential programs and pioneering pilot initiatives. You'll be the driving force behind building strong relationships with grant-giving bodies, family foundations, and corporate supporters, crafting compelling proposals that secure vital funding.
Previous grant writing experience is not essential, but the successful candidate will have well honed writing skills and the ability to pitch proposals to a variety of audiences.

The Income Generation and Communications department is a small team, working flexibly to support the charity’s frontline services. My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award-winning self-advocacy charity uniquely run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998. The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire. These established projects include a fee earning training and consultancy Professional Services team, gig buddy, travel buddy scheme, a nightclub, campaigns and self-advocacy groups.
We are now looking for a committed individual to join our Gig Buddy team. The role holder will help to deliver a broad range of social activities which increase fun, friends, confidence and independence for our members with a learning disability.

We are excited to be advertising the role of Psychotherapy Service Manager at Respond, to lead our team and the development of our psychotherapy services with autistic people and people with learning disabilities who have experienced trauma and their families. Many of our clients may have experienced complex or multiple traumatic experiences including sexual violence, domestic abuse and neglect.
The Psychotherapy Service provides predominantly longer-term therapeutic support of a year or more, depending on how the work is funded, to an average of 130 unique individuals per year. The current team of 10 are made up of 4 senior therapists (reporting to the postholder), 4 therapists and 2 honoraries in training, the majority of whom are Arts therapists and work within a psychodynamic and/or systemic model.
We welcome applications from experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor/Psychotherapists, Arts therapists, Psychologists or Family Therapists who are passionate about our work. You will work psychodynamically, champion our trauma informed approach including our reflective practice model and have the opportunity to influence and shape the development of the psychotherapy service. Leading the small team, you will provide clinical leadership and be Safeguarding lead, ensuring we continue to provide high quality psychotherapy services. We are offering the role at 4-5 days per week, working in a hybrid manner flexibly. You can also hold your own small case load of clients, supervisees and/or consultancy work within the role.
This is a unique and specialist role and we recognise that you may have more experience in one clinical area or client group than another, given the breadth of our work and whilst you may be experienced in working psychodynamically as a therapist and as a line manager, you may be newer to leading a service for example. Or you may have a great deal of other experience and understanding of the needs of our clients from other work. We are flexible to develop the right candidate who is passionate about improving the lives of autistic people, people with learning disabilities and their family members.

We're recruiting a skilled Service Manager to join our Eye Care Support Services (ECSS) Management Team in the North of England.
In this varied role, you will provide day to day leadership to a team of Eye Care Liaison Officers (ECLO's). Harington is an Ofsted regulated specialist college and charity based in north London, working with young people with learning differences aged 16-25. Our students undertake individualised learning programmes that lead to vocational qualifications and other aims, including gardening, retail, English, maths, employability and independent living. We also deliver a supported internship programme.
Our charity's learning centres in Highgate and Hornsey alongside our charity's gardening business and two charity shops, provide a unique opportunity for students to practically apply their learning on work experience placements. What will you be doing?
As a waking night support worker at Hft you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. Waking night support workers are required to remain awake throughout the night to support individuals as required.
The role is tailored to the needs of the individual(s) you will be supporting. The tasks can include:
- Assisting with taking medication
- Monitoring people we support due to medical needs, such as seizures
- Provide support during the night when the people you are supporting are awake and are struggling to go back to sleep
- Support with personal care
- Updating files such as finance logs and support plans
- General household tasks, such as cleaning, washing and ironing
- Performing security checks, including fire checks
