Role overview:
As a Lead Assessor, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity of our AP scheme. Working hand in hand with service user perspective assessors, you'll monitor all Headway AP core domains during onsite visits.
Key responsibilities:
- Review relevant documentation ahead of onsite visits.
- Collaborate with service user perspective assessors during visits, focusing on core domain monitoring.
- Facilitate post-visit debriefing meetings with assessors to ensure thorough discussion and alignment.

Candidate profile:
- Hold a professional qualification (e.g., OT, SaLT, Nursing, Physio) with demonstrated experience in ABI.
- Exhibit unwavering objectivity and impartiality during assessments.
- Uphold strict confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information.

You will lead a two-year project contributing to the work of the No Wrong Door partnership – local organisations and local residents working together to ensure there is ‘No Wrong Door’ for Black Disabled people seeking employment, as they can expect excellent support from any organisation.
We want to change the system, influencing employment support providers and their Commissioners to ensure support for Black Disabled people who are seeking employment is appropriate, accessible and inclusive.
You will have excellent project management skills and use your lived, personal experience of race and disability equity issues to implement change, working collaboratively with residents (Lived Experience Leads), partner organisations and employment support providers. Your role will involve working primarily with Black Disabled Lambeth residents. You will understand and encounter the intersections between being Black and Disabled and the barriers to employment and be able to demonstrate creative and people-centred approaches to influencing change.

Job Purpose - Commercial Analyst
The primary objective of this role is to deliver a broad programme of market and commercial research and analysis to underpin AFG’s growth ambitions and to manage AFG’s commercial risks.

About the Role

- Develop a detailed programme of market research and analysis linked to AFG’s growth plans.

The specific arears of advice and support will be around the four main themes: Best Start in Life, Carers Health and Wellbeing, Transitions Throughout Life, Income Maximisation (welfare benefits). You will help to navigate what can be complex and potentially intimidating processes to unlock the support that families need and deserve.
This is a potentially hugely rewarding role for an individual with experience of family care and the welfare and benefits system. You will be making measurable and positive changes to the lives and opportunities of families of children and adults with a learning disability and the job will offer you challenge, autonomy and opportunities for development within a growing organisation.

As Corporate Partnerships Manager you’ll be responsible, for driving and developing the Corporate Fundraising Strategy. With support from our trustees, the fundraising board and committees, your focus will be on identifying and securing long-term, strategic partnerships with a variety of organisations as well as building on and maintaining those already in place.
