Fixed Term until February 2025, 35 hours per week
Location: Here East Press Centre, 14 East Bay Lane, London, E15 2GW with working from home some or most of the time (hybrid).
The role
We will need you to take a lead on evaluating the impact of each phase and use that information to shape the next. The campaign will have both online and offline activity and lots of moving parts, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
You will:
- Work collaboratively across Scope to deliver our general election campaign, and help us make sure disabled people’s voices are heard by Government and politicians.
- Work closely with our National Campaigns Officer, and manage our Campaigns Assistant
- Play a key role in the delivery of the campaign, from developing assets to determining the best tactics for each phase.

About you
We are looking for someone that is passionate about disability equality and understands the role businesses play in creating an inclusive society.
You:
- Have in-depth knowledge of campaigning tactics and be comfortable developing and delivering campaigns strategies.
- Should be able to manage multiple projects and priorities whilst working collaboratively.
- Understand the UK political system and how to influence it, and be able to make complicated information clear to others.

We require a person with experience working in the field of autism. The applicant will need to be located within the Yorkshire or North East of England due to the nature of the work the caseload they will be managing and the travel required throughout this region.

Waking night support workers are required to remain awake throughout the night to support individuals as required.
The role is tailored to the needs of the individual(s) you will be supporting. The tasks can include:
- Assisting with taking medication
- Monitoring people we support due to medical needs, such as seizures
- Provide support during the night when the people you are supporting are awake and are struggling to go back to sleep
- Support with personal care
- Updating files such as finance logs and support plans
- General household tasks, such as cleaning, washing and ironing
- Performing security checks, including fire checks

dasl have provided an advocacy service for Lambeth Council for 12 years and since 2020 we have played a key role in the Lambeth Advocacy Hub, a single point of access for all statutory independent advocacy services for Lambeth residents aged 16 and over. The purpose of your role is to give the highest possible standards of support to individuals with profound learning disabilities and other physical health conditions. This is a varied and responsible role. As well as assisting with personal care and sensory needs, you will support individuals with their physical health eg PEG feeding, suction, physiotherapy and medication. You will also carry out everyday household tasks. You will help people to engage in everyday home, social and leisure interests, reaching goals like travelling or holidays and working positively with their families and friends.
Your person-centred approach will enable people to have choices about their own lives. You will work with external health professionals to deliver a service model that promotes and reflects evidence-based practice. Horatio’s Garden is a growing, award winning, national charity improving the lives of people with spinal injuries by creating and nurturing outstanding garden projects in NHS spinal injury centres.
Trusts & Foundations is our largest income stream and we are looking to increase capacity in the team during a growth period for the charity.You will support our experienced Trusts & Foundations team to help meet, and exceed, our income targets and to provide fantastic support to our donors.You will also have the opportunity to spend half a day a week in our Salisbury garden assisting the Head Gardener and spending time with beneficiaries.
Main duties:
- Identify and research grant giving trusts and foundations to whom Horatio’s Garden is eligible to submit applications for funding.
- Proactively approach relevant trusts and foundations, where possible, to discuss potential applications before submission.
- Prepare and submit high quality applications for funding for a range of Horatio’s Garden projects.
- Prepare and submit high quality, timely progress reports to grant givers, contributing to longer term relationship development with funders.
- Maintain the Trusts and Foundations pipeline to maximise supporter retention and income generation.

It’s one of our range of free Support Services that work with adults, young people, and/or families living with M.E. We support colleagues across the team to take part in and share reflective practice, self-care, peer-support and training.
Our Adults Advocacy service offers non-statutory, single-issue, instructed advocacy for adults with a confirmed diagnosis of M.E. We encourage self-advocacy where possible, though many of our clients are too severely affected by M.E. to be able to take undertake this.
As an Adults Advocate, you will manage a caseload of clients, as well as inputting and contributing to the triage process along with your Advocacy colleagues. You will meet with clients by phone, email, Zoom and/or SMS; we can also facilitate communication by post if this is required. We are not able to offer home visits or face to face meetings.

Develop a CfD “newsround” – a regular video round-up of events, news, and information of interest to deaf people.
