This role is at the heart of the charity, managing delivery of existing services while developing new and innovative activities to help people with a cancer diagnosis back to independence with a renewed sense of self-esteem - "Living your best life-despite cancer".

We need our Service Delivery Manager to:

• manage our existing portfolio of programmes and activities, ensuring that all activities are delivered        according to scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality standards

This role is hybrid. The successful applicant will be required to work at our Bradbury House location on 2 Fridays each month when we run our drop-in and hold operational meetings. The address is Mayfield Road, Huntingdon, PE29 1UL. In addition, the post holder will be required to attend in person on other days as needed, for example, our Men’s Group in Huntingdon on Wednesday mornings, our Women’s Group on Wednesday evenings, and new activities on other days and locations around Huntingdonshire, together with occasional evening and weekend working in the Huntingdon area. 

The time commitment is 15 hours per week at the rate of £20 per hour. Our preference is for the post-holder to be a self employed contractor.

• An understanding of project and/or grant management including procurement of service providers and management of consultancy contracts to support the HIF’s work.

We are looking for an experienced institutional funding expert to lead and manage a busy portfolio. This is a role in which the successful candidate will need to juggle multiple and complex projects. Key duties will include:

• Leading the development and implementation of a portfolio of work within the institutional funding team (IFT) currently focused on West Africa (17 Anglophone, Francophone and Lusophone countries), and lead on the development of strategic partnerships with individual institutional donors as prioritised.

This role is involved and multi-faceted with regular meetings across the organisation. This is a full-time role that may be worked from home for the majority of the time however some visits to our offices in Haywards Heath, West Sussex (RH16 3BW) will be required. On average this is likely to be twice per year. If you prefer to work from or are visiting our collaborative, modern office space, you will find it an easy 20-minute train journey from Brighton or 45 minutes from London. Working at the frontline of our fundraising activities, you’ll have excellent communication skills, people management capabilities, proven track record of working to targets and a passion to manage a team who engage with the beach-going public and event visitors to get their commitment for regular support for the cause.

You’ll be a self-starter who can lead an energetic and innovative team to success. Able to adhere to codes of conduct, policies and be Fundraising Regulator compliant in all that you do and deliver. You’ll be flexible and prepared to work out of office hours with considerable travel throughout the year, peaking through the summer months. Substantial annual leave during the summer would not be practical for this role.

• Proven experience and success in face-to-face fundraising. This will either have been gained working for a charity or a fundraising agency.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with first class communication skills to join the CSP team in Scotland and support them in promoting the profession and empowering members.

Liaising with, and supporting, team members across the CSP, you will assist in running successful external influencing, campaigns and lobbying, as well as organising external events, and managing communications, member networks and training.

Educated to at least A Level standard, or with equivalent experience, you will have exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, along with proven events management and office management experience. A Charity that supports young people are recruiting for a Financial Planning Business Analyst on an initial 9-month contract to support the implementation of a new budgeting and forecasting software tool. The postholder will be working extremely closely with the Finance Director, Finance Business Partners, and system teams to understand budgeting and data requirements. 

Your duties will include:

• Lead on the delivery of selecting and implementing a new budgeting and forecasting tool

The Fundraising and Business Development Team Administrator will form part of a five-strong team led by our Head of Fundraising and Business Development. Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities are:
Corporate Fundraising

• Support corporate fundraising by completing due diligences on potential partners (you will be trained how to do this), organising corporate visits, volunteering days, supporting corporate fundraising events, keeping corporate partners up to date with our news etc and organising meetings.

Trusts and Foundations

• Support trusts and foundations fundraising by supporting on funder research (again you will be fully trained how to do this) and contributing to a constant pipeline of potential funders for the team to approach.
• Helping to manage the schedule for, and possibly writing and/or submitting basic proposals to trusts and foundations.

Events

•  Support the team by recording and sending fundraising materials to those raising money for us through events and challenge event.
•  Helping to develop, organise and deliver events.

Individual Giving

• Supporting our Individual Giving programme from an administrative point of view, including sending out pre-written emails to our supporters etc and ensuring first-class stewardship.
• Using our fundraising platform Enthuse to produce reports to support the team (and finance) with relevant information and insights.
• To ensure all donations are processed and on the fundraising tracker correctly, supporter records are kept up to date and supporters are thanked in a timely manner.

General

• To be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries that come in by telephone, email, and post.
• Supporting other activities in the fundraising team when needed, sending out materials to fundraisers and supporting logistics, diary management and support the organisation and delivery of meetings and events when needed.
• Attend meetings and take concise and accurate minutes.
• Support the Head of Fundraising and Business Development to produce trackers and spreadsheets which help to measure the team’s performance and results. Role overview.
