About the role
The aim of this newly created role is to lead organisational change on safeguarding and protection across Care4Calais.
The Head of Safeguarding and Protection will provide strategic and operational leadership across all protection and safeguarding prevention, reporting and response initiatives to facilitate a values-led organisational culture of safety, non-discrimination, dignity and respect for all.
Responsibilities

Develop, lead and implement safeguarding and protection strategy across the whole organisation.

Manage the incident management and referral process for safeguarding and protection incidents.

Oversee the implementation of Care4Calais’ mental health and wellbeing initiatives.

Develop and deliver training and resources on safeguarding and protection to grow capacity across the organisation.

Attend and contribute meaningfully to team meetings.

Develop and maintain a network of key contacts within relevant authorities, legal teams dealing with immigration and public law matters, and other NGOs focused on the support of refugees and people seeking asylum.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria:

Significant experience of leading organisational change on safeguarding and protection initiatives in an international humanitarian context.

Experience and knowledge of international safeguarding and protection standards and good practices, as well as legal and regulatory obligations applicable to charities registered in the UK and (desirable) France.

As Railway Children’s Community Engagement Worker (London), you will energise key stakeholders to come together to collectively keep vulnerable young people safe on the rail network. You will build and strengthen partnerships with – and between – the rail industry, British Transport Police (BTP) and others working locally with vulnerable young people in order to drive forward innovative approaches to contextual safeguarding.

The role will require you to engage the public and work closely with British Transport Police, station staff and employees as well as local services in the area. The Role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support finance and grantmaking. They are responsible for the smooth running of all transactional processes for grants, payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. They will also lead on any applicable system enhancements thus offering a critical and wide-ranging systems support role for the grantmaking charity. They will ensure that financial transactions are properly allocated, recorded, and maintained and assist in the preparation of audit data as well as supporting project reporting to aid in the preparation of the annual statutory audit and project reports.
As part of the finance and operations team, they will join a growing team currently staffed by four members in the UK. In the present accountability structures, the Finance and Grants Officer, GGF UK is line managed by the Director of Finance and Operations, GGF UK while building and working in more collaborative ways.
The Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, social justice, feminist, gender, human rights, and/or grantmaking organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit grant accounting/financial issues and dealing with both financial and grant information and processes, understand accounting principles, and have knowledge of accounting, grantmaking, and budgeting processes. They have cash management, banking, and payment experiences. They demonstrate excellent administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure the accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They will have the skills to give, receive, and work with feedback constructively. They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions. Multiple language skills would be ideal, while English fluency is a must.

The role:
The Head of Programmes is a wide-ranging and key role within the Smallwood Trust’s leadership structure working closely with the CEO, the Grants Team and the Board.
Important priorities for the Head of Programmes will include:

About the role
The Hardman Trust supports people on long prison sentences to take their next steps in life. As the programme & volunteer coordinator your role is to help make this a reality through the coordination of programmes in line with our business plan, and overseeing the recruitment, onboarding and support of our volunteers.
Your role is designed to flex to coordinate existing or new programmes as the needs of our organisation and its users evolve. In its first year, your role will be to coordinate our Penfriends letter writing programme and our grants programme. About ICT at Hope into Action
ICT is critical to delivery of the Hope into Action vision of every church lovingly making a home for those experiencing homelessness. We have experienced rapid growth across the UK and are now in 35 towns. Our ICT provides a vital window for each town in the Hope into Action network of people, policies, document storage and training resources. Our internal ICT capacity is mission critical. Our first line helpdesk is outsourced. This role will take the lead on several key projects that will ready out ICT infrastructure for the next phase of growth.

Our ICT Network Lead is both a strategic and user-empowering role. For this role, you would be someone who is flexible with an ability to keep systems running smoothly whilst at the same time pursuing improvements.

Starting 13 years ago, we have grown into a mature organisation working with over 100 churches running 110 homes for over 350 tenants.
We have won numerous awards both secular and Christian including from the Guardian newspaper, Homeless link and Centre for social Justice.
We provide not just shelter and housing know-how, but also the friendship of a church, we are passionate about harnessing the social, financial and spiritual power of churches to enact real change both in them and our tenants.
Our first home had a real heart for men coming out of prison. Homes are now available for a wide range of people experiencing homelessness: people in recovery from addiction, people sleeping rough, women and children fleeing domestic violence, people coming out of rehab, former prostitutes, refugees, those suffering mental health issues and survivors of human traffic
Roughly, 50% of our homes are in our ‘line-managed cities’ (Peterborough, Norwich, Nottingham, Cambridge), the other 50% are found across a further 30+ towns which we franchise into.

The role’s purpose is to support the delivery of core Cambridge SU events. The Events Coordinator, while based within the Activities Team, will work with staff from across the organisation. They will be the event organiser of our flagship events, and provide support to smaller events such as those run by other teams, or students. Our flagship member engagement event is the Freshers’ Fair, which invites all 24,000 students to see what the university has to offer.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver Cambridge SU’s major events.
- Develop and implement an events management process for all student events to follow.
- Lead on the health and safety of all events.
- Produce a risk register and be the primary lead on all risk management of events including financial and reputational risks.

- To be responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of Neighbourhood Watch’s partner project involving Neighbourhood Watch volunteers within the North West.

You will be part of a wider team providing an open access 'one stop shop' offering information and on-going support to young people (aged 13-25), about how to make informed choices about their emotional wellbeing, work, education & finances. So young people need you to be welcoming, supportive and able to work in a confidential way.
You will have wide-ranging and demonstrable experience of working within a busy office and handling sensitive information. You will be integral to connecting our Support Workers to the young people seeking help. You will keep them up to date of all communication and help them to respond to young people trying to access services, often reaching out for the first time. You will also help to make sure our amazing Drop in volunteers are supported and tasked with jobs for the day. Administrative duties will include updating databases, running data reports for the service managers and ensuring the team have all the necessary documents to provide an efficient service.
