About the role

Last year we launched a new website which provides independent online information, advice and support for kinship carers. This year, we’re continuing to develop new advice and information content for the website, as well as working on content for projects that focus on supporting kinship carers.

The postholder will research, create and deliver engaging, user-focused content, and deliver a seamless user content experience throughout all content development. Working with kinship carers and subject matter experts will be a big part of your role. 

You will be working on content in a range of formats, including web copy, printed guides, presentations for training, workshop materials (digital and printed), video and more.

One day you could be carrying out research with kinship carers, on another you could be doing paired writing with a subject matter expert to explain the different types of kinship care. 

Content Design by Sarah Winters and Rachel Edwards and Designed with Care: Creating trauma-informed content by Rachel Edwards will be your guides to best practice and content design principles. You’ll be confident facilitating discovery and research and building user stories and job stories with clear user goals. 

This is a great opportunity if you’re brilliant at building trusting relationships, ambitious to make your mark in content design and ready to turn complex information into plain English. We’ll also provide excellent training and support to help you. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Take complex language, processes and legislation to design content that is clear, simple and allows users to achieve their goals (creating user stories and job stories). 

• Facilitate and support user research using empathy mapping, user journeys and other techniques to understand user goals. 

• Champion the needs of the user (including our internal users) and turn them into easily digestible, scannable and actionable content. 

• Embed content design processes in the charity and upskill internal team members, building templates which support delivery of goal-oriented content. 

• Actively learn from external organisations and peers, using best practice to test new approaches (for example using AI to support content-led products and services). 

​Essential experience includes:

• Experience of designing user-centric, jargon-free content across digital and non-digital channels

• Experience of mapping user journeys from user research and working with subject matter experts to turn complex language and processes into easily understandable content

• An ability to influence and support key stakeholders and colleagues to understand the value and impact of content design principles

• Experience of working with users and an understanding of the barriers they may face when accessing content, taking a trauma-informed approach to content design

• Strong prototyping skills and knowledge of how to test content with users

• Experience in delivering and coordinating successful content projects, from understanding user needs through to creation

You will be highly organised and proactive, with excellent interpersonal, teamwork and relationship building skills, with an ability to influence and connect with stakeholders at all levels.

What does this team do?

The Deputy CEO Directorate (DCEO) plays a key role in overseeing Dogs Trust's internal operations, ensuring the effective management of the Charity’s financial, legal, IT, efficiencies, facilities, and governance functions. The Directorate works closely with senior leadership to support the organisation's Rehoming Centres, prevention programmes, and international efforts. Its focus is on ensuring smooth internal processes and great customer service, that enable delivery of the mission and strategic goals of the UK's largest dog welfare charity.

Fuel Bank – Triage Support Advisor

As Triage Support Adviser at Fuel Bank Foundation, you will be the first point of contact for beneficiaries, partners, or referral agencies seeking assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to assess needs, gather essential information, and direct each query to the appropriate team or resource. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that those in need receive timely and accurate support, helping maintain smooth day-to-day operations within the Foundation’s support services.

Key Responsibilities

Initial Contact & Needs Assessment

• Inbound Enquiries: Respond to incoming calls, emails, or online requests, providing a welcoming and empathetic first point of contact.
• Information Gathering: Ask relevant questions to understand the nature of each enquiry—whether a client needs immediate fuel assistance, advice, or referral to another service.
• Basic Eligibility Checks: Perform preliminary assessments to confirm a caller’s eligibility or direct them to the right partner agencies.

Triage & Referral

• Case Prioritisation: Quickly identify urgent cases (e.g., no heating supply, extreme vulnerability) and escalate them as needed to senior colleagues or specialized services.
• Routing Calls/Emails: Forward complex queries or those requiring in-depth guidance to the appropriate department (e.g., Customer Support, Policy & Impact, Finance for voucher-related questions).
• Follow-Up Coordination: Log essential details for each interaction, ensuring smooth handovers and timely follow-up by the relevant team member.

Data Entry & Record Keeping

• Database Management: Accurately input beneficiary information into the Foundation’s CRM or case-management system, maintaining up-to-date records in line with data protection policies.
• Documentation: Keep clear notes on calls, emails, and web form submissions, tagging them with relevant categories (e.g., urgent, general enquiry, advice request).
• Reporting: Support team leads by generating basic reports or summaries on enquiry volumes, types of requests, or common issues.

Communication & Collaboration

• Liaise with Colleagues: Update other teams or managers about trends in call types or emerging issues that might require policy changes or additional resources.
• Team Support: Assist in scheduling, task delegation, or administrative tasks when needed, contributing to a well-coordinated triage function.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Occasionally interact with partner organisations, local agencies, or other charities to exchange referral information or confirm assistance protocols.

Quality & Compliance

• Adherence to Policies: Follow all internal guidelines, including safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection (GDPR).
• Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring enquiry patterns or potential service gaps, suggesting improvements to triage processes.

The Stoll Foundation is a leading provider of supported housing for vulnerable and disabled veterans in the UK. The Role:

• Responsible to the Housing Manager for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing service to ex-service personnel and their dependents.
• To provide an effective and responsive housing management service for a patch of Stoll properties, meeting agreed performance outcomes and objectives for key

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact in relation to housing applicants, ensuring that all data is recorded accurately on the housing database, and the waiting list is
  managed efficiently.
• Take part in the Allocations process, working with the other members of the Housing team to ensure that all voids on the patch are efficiently allocated and that let targets are met.
• Undertake viewings, sign-ups and new tenant visits, working in partnership with the Support team to ensure new tenants are aware of their rights and responsibilities and are fully supported through the process in order to successfully sustain their tenancies.
• Investigate and make recommendations on the suitability of applications for transfers and mutual exchanges in accordance with established procedures.
• Carry out void inspections in the absence of the Property Services Manager and, where appropriate, arrange the appropriate void remedial work

Specific Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of lettings and allocations, rent collection and arrears management, repairs and maintenance, tenancy disputes and anti-social behaviour policie and procedures and their application
• Understanding of the legal framework and regulatory context in which Stoll operates and the role of local authorities and Registered Providers in providing housing services
• Experience/knowledge of the issues facing the ex-Service community, especially those Veterans with support needs.
• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent – minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English
• Working knowledge of housing legislation, including tenancy enforcement, debtrecovery, and anti-social behaviour.
• Working knowledge of welfare benefits, especially Housing Benefit.

Milton House is a 15-bed mixed-gender accommodation service in Islington, supporting adults facing multiple and complex challenges. With a small and dedicated staff team, we provide tailored casework to residents whose needs may include mental or physical health issues, substance use, histories of offending, or support with living skills and wider aspirations. The Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) aims to create and develop the conditions that will enable people who have Down's syndrome to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives. We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Fundraising Events Officer to join our fundraising team.

Reporting to the Fundraising and Events Manager, the successful candidate will manage all challenge events in the portfolio.  This includes the planning, organisation, marketing, delivery, recruitment and stewardship of participants and day to day administration for all DSA events.

Candidates should have at least 3 years work experience in Events.

The Main Responsibilities of the role are:

Assist the Fundraising and Events Manager with future event plans and creating and building on our Community Fundraising offer.

Managing the Events Inbox; Replying to all enquiries coming into the inbox.

Input all application form information onto Saleforce, ensuring GDPR is adhered to at all times. Set reminders on all records – FR chasing, Good Luck emails, Thank You Letter reminders, etc. to keep on top of everyone’s supporter journey.

Assist in the sale of items from the shop- especially Christmas cards, socks and merchandise.

Work closely with the Communications Team to develop promotional plans for each event maximising recruitment and exposure through our newsletter and social media platforms.

Provide support to your team members during particularly busy times (and vice versa) such as Down’s Syndrome Awareness Week.

Attend and participate in events as required.  This may involve occasional evening and weekend work, for which you will receive equal time back in lieu.

To work in conjunction with the Fundraising Team in the production of budgets and in developing and implementing the Events teams strategic plans in order to maximise income and support across our events programme.

Identify and research new opportunities to develop the events programme and maximise income as well as maintaining and extending the existing events which generate a healthy ROI.

Work with the membership officer to develop relationships with members, supporters who participate in events taking responsibility for the supporter journey; providing motivation and encouragement from start to finish to ensure they continue to support.

Evaluate the current processes and procedures with the Fundraising and Events Manager and implement improvements where necessary.

Manage the fundraising pages of the website ensuring copy is up to date and relevant and those events that require extra marketing are featured on the home page.

To undertake any other duties as required by the Fundraising Manager that fall within the grade and remit of this post.

We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). Flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

As Protector, you will act as an impartial guardian of the Trust, ensuring its activities align with its charitable purposes. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the charity is administered with integrity and transparency, reporting any concerns to the Charity Commission, providing advice to the trustee, and undertaking tasks as required. You will also be responsible for preparing an annual statement of activities and findings for publication.

To be eligible for this role, it is desirable that you hold a qualification awarded by a member of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB). You must not have been a councillor, officer, employee, or paid consultant of the Council or any of its controlled organisations within the last five years. Additionally, you must not have any significant interest in contracts with the Council, except for minor shareholdings of less than one percent.

The Protector may receive reasonable remuneration, with expenses and indemnity insurance covered. Firms or companies associated with the Protector may also receive fair compensation for services provided under their instruction.

About the role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Fundraising Community Coordinator to join our virtual events team. You will play a crucial part in managing the online communities for our month-long Virtual Events, ensuring an exceptional experience for our dedicated supporters.

As the Fundraising Community Coordinator you will be responsible for posting on our online communities, supporting the Virtual Events Assistant to create engaging content that will inspire and uplift our supporters and driving positive interactions within the community. You will actively engage with supporter posts, promptly responding to inquiries, moderating the community and extending warm welcomes to new members.

You will also assist with the development of the supporter experience, including helping to improve fundraising resources, creating FAQ’s and gathering compelling case studies to further drive support. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the whole team, acknowledging donations, and offering an exceptional experience to our event supporters via phone, SMS email and social media becoming a fundraising expert within the Mass Participation Team.

To succeed in this role will have a proven track record of building positive relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will have experience of following processes and have strong organisational and planning skills. Experience in managing online communities and utilising databases will be highly beneficial. Westway Trust is looking for a dedicated and reliable experienced Cleaning Operative to provide supervised access to the new public toilets located on Acklam Road, next to Portobello Market. The primary responsibility of the Cleaning Operative will be to ensure the facility and its surroundings are maintained to a high standard, checked regularly and kept clean, secure and inviting to users at all times. The secondary part to this role is to publicise the Trust’s activities that take place on the Trust’s 23 acres of land in North Kensington by distributing information and leaflets to the members of the public who use or pass by the toilet facilities and the surrounding area. 

The role requires someone with a good physical stamina, who is friendly and a confident communicator with an energetic approach to work, and will be fully committed to achieving a consistent standard of cleanliness and appearance throughout the facility.

This is a part-time role of up to 30 hours per week. Working patterns will be discussed at the interview stage.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• To open and lock the facility and return the key to the Trust’s offices.
• Effectively and efficiently manage the access control system.
• To ensure that all toilet cubicles (toilets seats, pans, urinals, basins and door furniture) are clean and fit-for use.
• Properly clean all sanitary appliances, fittings, and areas on a regular basis as directed.
• Sweep, wet mop, and floor polish designated areas.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet rolls as and when required and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate and work positively in collaboration with other members of the cleaning team.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations and sanitation guidelines are adhered to.
• Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, and windows.
• Carry out periodic checks of the facility to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Report repairs and replacements that are required when encountered while cleaning.
• Empty waste bins and replacing liners.
• Report any emergencies that might occur promptly and accurately.

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes:

• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a cleaner in any institution or organisation.
• The physical ability to bend, reach, stretch, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for a long period of time; ability to effectively push vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment for extended periods of time
• Good communication skills as a general cleaner is required to possess the ability to accept, understand, and follow instructions and to deal with users and the public in a professional manner.
• Confident and energetic approach to work.
• Adequate knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• A willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail to perform a thorough job.
• Ability to complete physically demanding tasks.
• Integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness to work independently.
