Hope Street has been open for over a year now, and is the first of its kind, delivering an innovative provision for women and their children in Hampshire. This role will play a key part in our team of “leads”, managing the Night Support and Safety teams, and all hub activities that take place between 8pm and 8am, ensuring the safety of our women and their children living in the Hope Street community.

You will lead our night team, liaising closely with the Hub Community Lead and the Hope Street operational teams to ensure that the holistic support needs of women and children are met. You’ll be proactive, engaged, conscientious and energetic; ensuring that your team are also motivated to provide the best possible service for our residents.

 You’ll ideally have previous experience working with justice-involved women, or within a women-only service, and will need to have line managed a small team. You’ll be flexible in when you work, ensuring you spend time with our day team, attending our all-team meetings and training activities, and ensuring that your night team participate in these opportunities to integrate and contribute as well.

It would be highly advantageous if you hold an SIA licence (CCTV), but if you don’t, you’ll be willing to undertake the 3-day course qualification.

It is a requirement of this role to have a driving licence, access to your own vehicle and hold business car insurance.

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare profession/health related professional to join our existing team of Wellbeing Consultants embedded within established UK GenesisCare cancer treatment centres.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with patients, relatives, GenesisCare staff team and Wellbeing consultant team and the wider Penny Brohn UK organization. We are looking for a professional who can work in a flexible, proactive, intelligent, and creative way. Candidates should have experience of working within private or national health related services and have knowledge, experience/understanding of complementary therapies or other support services.

Key role considerations

•  This role will involve working alongside our partner GenesisCare to ensure a holistic approach is taken in aspects of support and treatment.
• The bulk of the patient work is delivery of one-to-one sessions – completing holistic needs assessments, review appointments, consultations, mindfulness, and relaxation sessions.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Strategic Reporting

· Manage engagement with Heads of Department, programme leads, and key stakeholders to shape and align in-year milestones across strategic initiatives, ensuring cohesive delivery of organisational priorities.

· Conduct high-level analysis of milestone data to identify strategic opportunities, interdependencies, and key internal and external drivers. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to build support for integrated ways of working and ensure consistent communication across teams.

· Manage the coordination of ARUK’s annual planning and budgeting process in collaboration with the Head of Programme Management and Director of Strategy & Governance. Take day-to-day ownership of the process, ensuring effective communication and engagement across all levels of the organisation.

· Work closely with the Head of Programme Management and key stakeholders to assess and improve organisational structures and ways of working, with a focus on enhancing cross-team collaboration and the effectiveness of strategic working groups.

• Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees. This includes running application workshops with past Trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics

Relationship management

• Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations
• You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre

Church Community

• Spear South Wales is run in partnership with Citizen Church, meaning you will work alongside a vibrant church staff team and have the support of the church in the running of the programme
• You will be required to establish a personal presence within the community, and build a strong and committed network of supporters in the partner church. While it's desirable that this is your regular place of worship, we would consider candidates already in other local churches who are unable to move

Established in 1903, the club provides a safe space for young people in the local community to engage in sports and creative activities. We are at a pivotal point in our growth journey and are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to lead and grow our club revenue through the unique cultural interest in the Club. 

The Role

The Commercial Operations Manager plays a crucial role in driving financial sustainability by generating income and managing commercial activities through venue hire, event planning, merchandise sales and securing strategic long-term partnerships, enhancing existing revenue streams, and identifying new opportunities.

The position will ensure the charity maximises its commercial potential while staying true to its mission and values.

About you

We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years' experience in an income generation role, including venue hire and event management, ideally in a charity setting. 

You will be organised and planful in your work with the ability to project manage activities with strong budget management skills.  You’ll have the ability to communicate well and work with a variety of individuals and will be able to negotiate and influence well.  You need to be comfortable working independently and able to manage multiple different projects at pace.
