QAC is a charity that runs a college, supported living (known as Independence Plus) and community services for young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities.
The College has been at its current location since 1903. Our original purpose was to provide education for young people who were blind or visually impaired. Today, in addition to supporting people who have a visual impairment, we offer education, support and guidance for students on the autism spectrum, those with moderate to severe learning difficulties, and students with physical and other disabilities. We have a large, skilled and diverse staff team who can meet a diverse range of student needs. As QAC has grown, we now have new educational and learning sites. As well as the more well-known campus in Harborne, there is the QAC Pinewood campus (dedicated to employment progression) in nearby Woodgate valley and in addition, QAC Umberslade campus (dedicated to horticulture and outdoor learning), in nearby Selly Oak. QAC offers a broad range of study programmes that are tailored to ensure each student receives the educational, therapeutic and support services that they require, helping them achieve their aspirations for adult life.
Our supported living programmes (Independent Plus) and Community Services offers support after leaving college and to those from within the local community. The marketing and communications team is responsible for marketing QAC services with the main focus being on student recruitment. Following a recent re-brand, the post holder will also be integral in ensuring an efficient and effective roll out of the new branding.
QAC also has an enterprise arm consisting of Sight Village (a touring exhibition supporting those with sight loss), All Formats (a transcription service) and Carbon Fibre Canes. These are all supported by the Marketing and Communications Team.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
You will be responsible for identifying requirements, analysing processes, and recommending solutions to improve efficiency, productivity and effectiveness of the Oracle solution within the organisation.
You will also ensure end-end processes are appropriately documented, maintained and effective, identifying areas for improvement and utilising critical thinking abilities to dissect complex problems and propose appropriate solutions.
The role will also involve facilitating stakeholder engagement, conducting workshops and interviews, and collaborating with our Oracle Implementation partner to assess and validate proposed solutions.

We're a democratic, membership organisation and all students at the University of Creative Arts are automatically members of the Union. Overall legal responsibility for the Students' Union rests with our Board of Trustees which is made up of three full-time Sabbatical Officers, four student trustees and three external trustees. The Sabbatical officers are elected each year by, and from, the student membership of the university. They take a year out of their studies (or immediately after graduating) to take on a fulltime paid staff role and to serve as a trustee.

The Senior Fundraising Officer will play a key role in the Fundraising Team helping to generate significant and increased income from charitable trusts and foundations and corporate partners.

This role involves creating comprehensive learning history reports, developing reporting for senior stakeholders and funders, and establishing a learning platform and toolkit for programme participants. Additionally, the postholder will stay abreast of the latest thinking and materials in leadership development to incorporate into programme content. About the Role
Are you an experienced A level tutor? Can you support under-resourced young people to reach their full academic potential?
We are looking for passionate and qualified A level tutors to deliver high quality small group tuition to our cohort of over 800 students. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced tutors with a love of learning to work with bright students whilst earning a competitive market rate for their tuition expertise. Tutorials are delivered online in groups of 2-4 students via our bespoke online platform.
Tutors should be able to commit to a minimum of three hours per week, between the hours of 4pm and 8pm on a weekday, to tutor The Access Project students.
We are looking for A Level tutors in these subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Further Maths, Geography, Maths, Physics, Politics, Psychology and Sociology.
We are particularly interested in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics applicants.

Tutor Responsibilities
- Adhere to the charity’s safeguarding policies, including undertaking an Enhanced DBS check
- Schedule tutorials with your tutor groups
- Responsively plan and deliver stimulating, high-quality tuition in line with our Tuition Quality Framework

Person Specification
- UK based with the right to work in the UK
- Passionate about The Access Project’s mission
- A level teaching and/or extensive tutoring experience (minimum of two years) in a group setting

- Familiarity with and strong knowledge of relevant exam boards and specifications
- Achieved a minimum of Grade B at GCSE in Maths, English and Science

Main purpose of role
The Programmes Administrator will be in charge of the smooth running of 1MM Mentoring Programmes in London, including the supporting of mentors & mentees through their journey.
