About the Role: The Information Management Specialist will focus on the classification of organisational data, ensuring appropriate confidentiality levels, and implementing robust data loss prevention strategies. The role includes analysing and optimizing current SharePoint libraries and leading the development and implementation of an intranet to enhance collaboration and information sharing across the organization.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Information Classification and Data Confidentiality:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive information classification framework to categorize data based on sensitivity, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and classify sensitive data, ensuring appropriate security controls and access levels are applied.
- Regularly review and update classification policies and procedures to maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Data Loss Prevention (DLP):
- Develop, implement, and manage data loss prevention strategies and tools to safeguard sensitive information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
- Monitor and analyse data flows and user activities to detect and respond to potential data breaches or policy violations.
- Work with IT security teams to establish controls and technologies that prevent data leakage (e.g., encryption, access controls).
SharePoint Library Analysis and Optimization:
- Analyse current SharePoint libraries to assess the organization, security, and accessibility of information.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize SharePoint libraries, including metadata management, document version control, and access permissions.
- Ensure that SharePoint libraries are aligned with the organization's information classification framework and DLP strategies.
Intranet Development and Implementation:
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of an organizational intranet to enhance internal communication, collaboration, and information sharing.
- Define and document the intranet’s structure, features, and functionality, including user roles, content management, and search capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure the intranet meets user needs and supports organizational goals.
Data Security and Compliance:
- Ensure all data management practices comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and organisational policies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in data storage and transmission.
- Maintain documentation of data security protocols, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about data classification, confidentiality requirements, and data loss prevention practices.
- Create awareness materials (e.g., guides, FAQs) to support employees in understanding and adhering to information management policies.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Audit & Risk and Fundraising teams to align information management initiatives with broader organisational strategies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding SharePoint and the intranet.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
Experience & Certifications/Qualifications:
- Higher level qualification in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in data classification, data loss prevention, or information security.
- Expertise in SharePoint administration and optimization.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

This position will begin assisting the Events Manager with the events programme and continue as maternity cover in 2025. Main responsibilities will include managing the educational events programme including in person obesity management training courses ‘Scope Schools’ as part of the SCOPE e-learning site held regularly throughout the year, and monthly educational webinars, alongside the Head of Education.
Also working with Head of Policy on medium sized events such as the Global Obesity Forum in person in New York in September 2025, and other smaller policy and fundraising meetings throughout the year. Also included in the role is managing webinars for World Obesity Day and other campaign days.
It will also involve managing the planning of the bi-annual congress the International Congress on Obesity to be held in Mexico City June 2026, overseeing the work of the PCO and organising committees to ensure development is on schedule and key milestones are achieved.

Funded by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and managed by the Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET), the Global Health Workforce Programme (GHWP) aims to develop the health workforce (HWF) in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria and Somaliland supporting them to build stronger, more resilient health systems for post-pandemic recovery and to make progress towards UHC.
Grants for UK-LMIC and cross-LMIC health partnerships will be awarded to respond to national HWF priorities identified through a scoping assessment carried out by THET with DHSC, FCDO, national Governments and stakeholders (such as local World Health Organisation offices). These grants will run until December 2025.
With a strong focus on building local ownership and sustainability, these partnerships will contribute to the following programmatic outcomes:
1. Partnerships contributing towards improved health workforce leadership capacity aligned with health workforce strategies, that will support reduction in gender inequalities.
2. Partnerships aligning with and contributing towards retention and wellbeing strategies.
3. Improved number and quality of training opportunities for health workers.
4. Co-developed and documented learning on health workforce interventions shared with key national and international stakeholders.
THET will award 28-36 strategic grants of £100,000 – £350,000 that feed into the country scoping priorities and outputs outlined above. The grants will broadly be split across the six countries; however, the exact split is dependent on the number and quality of applications received and broader priorities.
20-28 smaller grants of up to £50,000 will also be available for projects that tackle specific areas such as innovation, rural health facilities, diaspora engagement, leadership opportunities for women and protected groups, and the climate crisis.
Grants will be available to UK-LMIC health partnerships and LMIC-LMIC health partnerships. There are no institutional eligibility criteria as long as ODA rules are followed, so grants can be awarded to healthcare providers, royal colleges, universities, professional associations, NGOs, alliances, diaspora networks etc, but not to Ministry of Health departments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee consultants’ invoicing and payments process and staff expense claims
· Prompt consultants to send invoices at the end of the month
· Review receipts and time claimed against contract and allowable expenses, file documents and send to Programme Manager for approval
· Monitor consultants’ time and expenses in trackers
· Review expense claims from THET staff related to GHWP, file documents and send to Programme Manager for approval
· Follow up with Finance team regarding payments
2. Oversee the National Oversight Mechanism invoicing and payments process
· Prompt in-country Admin Assistants to send invoices to NOM upon completion of activities, and follow up if necessary
· Admin Assistants will check receipts and time claimed against honoraria agreements and allowable expenses and send to Programme Manager for approval, cc’ing Admin Support
· Monitor payments in tracker
· Follow up with Finance team regarding payments
3. Provide support to recruitment/contracting process
· Support with developing/adapting recruitment documents (application log, creating folders in Sharepoint)
· Support with drafting contracts based on information provided by Programme Manager/Coordinator
4. Provide support to reporting process
· Support with development of templates and updating basic information in the report
· Proofread and format reports before finalisation and submission by the Programme Manager

Overview of Role:
As Human Resources Advisor you will be joining a small, friendly and supportive HR team providing advice and support to managers and staff across the full range of employee life-cycle activities. This is a maternity cover post, so is offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months. As this is a short-term contract, we are looking for someone with HR experience at this level who can also embody our culture as a charity with a Christian ethos.
You will provide HR advice and support, to our Centres of Mission (CoM) (which are local projects run in partnership with Diocese to share the Good News of Jesus); our central services team in Sheffield known as Co.Lab; and our Sheffield based conference centre and accommodation.
The HR Advisor will play a key role in developing and strengthening the relationship between the staff, line managers and HR and ensure we deliver an effective HR service which is aligned with the service to the wider organisation. The post holder will work closely with managers in making sure the Christian ethos and values of Church Army are part of their culture and practice as line managers.
This role suits someone who is a HR generalist with strong knowledge of key HR practices including recruitment and retention, employee relations and development and training. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working in HR and hold a related qualification such as CIPD. As the role will be the link between HR, CoMs and our Co.Lab team, the post holder will play a key part in ensuring the vision, values and ethos of Church Army are evident. They will also bring their day-to-day experience of those areas into shaping the practice of the HR Team.
Salary: £21,029 (0.7) per annum / £24,033 (0.8) per annum (FTE £30,041) per annum
Hours: Flexible options for part-time hours (FTE is 37.5 hours):
26.25 hours (0.7) per week
30 hours (0.8) per week
Working pattern flexible between Monday to Friday.
Pension: Church Army is an auto enrolment pension employer. You will be assessed under pension auto enrolment criteria.
Annual Leave:173.25 hours (0.7) per annum / 198 hours (0.8) per annum (inclusive of Bank Holidays) (FTE is 247.5 hours = 25 days plus eight days bank holidays)

Funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Trust & NHSE, this work will transform the experiences of female veterans, and address barriers to access in areas including health and wellbeing, transition and employment, care, finance and pensions, housing, terms of service, historic hurt and loneliness. Collaborating across government, statutory, charity, and commercial organisations, the project will innovate within the sector, design sustainable provisions and translate research into action.
Reporting to the Project Lead for the Female Veterans Transformation Programme, you will be responsible for delivering the communication and engagement strategy during the course of the programme. This includes engagement and consultation with key stakeholders including Office of Veteran Affairs, MoD, NHS England, devolved nations health services, Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force (including Associations and charities), Veterans Commissioners, other veteran-facing organisations aligned through the Cobseo Female Veterans Cluster Group and female veterans themselves.
