We're looking for an inspirational people person to join us as an Assistant Shop Manager in our Shelter shop in Beverley. This is an exciting opportunity, and we'd like you to join us to help raise vital funds for homeless and badly housed people.
You will work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the shop looks welcoming, visually appealing and the team of volunteers are motivated and keen to engage with customers and maximise sales.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Permanent Head of Campaigning and Programmes to lead our work mobilising public support for our vision of a world where woods and trees thrive for people and nature.
The Role:
• The Head of Programmes and Campaigning leads our UK-wide campaigning activity and several strategic delivery programmes including, but not restricted to,
o Trees For All,
o Woods Under Threat and
o Free Trees for Schools and Communities.
• The post holder will manage the teams delivering these campaigns and programmes and is responsible for achieving ambitious targets to mobilise both new and existing supporters and deliver strategic programme objectives.
• As a Senior Leader, the role will contribute to the development and implementation of the Trust’s strategy, supporting the success of the Trust and its objectives.
• The post holder will work closely and collaboratively at all levels within the Trust to achieve this.
• This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required between 6 and 8 times per year. Occasional travel to other offices and remote locations as well as overnight stays may also be required.
• This is a permanent, full time position.

About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a Research Manager to join WWF-UK.
In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of high-quality qualitative and quantitative research that helps us better understand supporter attitudes, motivations, behaviours and barriers. You’ll turn evidence into clear, actionable insight that supports stronger decision-making across WWF-UK.
You’ll manage a range of research activity, including brand tracking, supporter surveys, audience research, segmentation, benchmarking studies, CSAT surveys and industry trend analysis. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Brand, Digital, Communications, Campaigns and Fundraising to embed evidence-based thinking into planning, campaign development, supporter engagement and evaluation.
You’ll also manage relationships with research agencies, ensuring work is well-briefed, delivered to a high standard and provides value for money. Alongside this, you’ll help strengthen how research is commissioned, governed, shared and reused across WWF-UK, including supporting ethical practice, GDPR compliance, commissioning guidance and the development of a central research repository.
Skills and experience

● Work closely with the Branch Manager and Trustees, maintaining open and effective communication.

Education & Qualifications
A management or coaching qualification such as a diploma or similar certification would be desirable but is not essential.
Skills and Experience
Essential
● Minimum 3 years’ management experience.
● Proven experience of managing and coaching high-performing teams across multiple functions.
● Demonstrable experience in raising income
● Demonstrable experience developing and managing external partnerships with businesses, community organisations or corporate supporters.
● Demonstrable experience in running a range of commercially viable events and activities
● Demonstrable experience of setting, monitoring and reporting on KPIs aligned with organisational goals.
● Experience of developing and implementing a DEI strategy.
● Excellent relationship-building, communication and influencing skills with staff, volunteers, senior leaders and Trustees.
● Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
● High level of IT competence (experience of Google Workspace preferred).
● Full UK driving licence, own vehicle and ability to travel regularly between sites.
Desirable
● Experience working within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
● Knowledge of basic HR legislation and governance.
● Confidence in managing and interpreting data to inform reporting and decision-making.
● Strong presentation skills.
