Age UK's Digital & Technology division is recruiting for an Asset and Dispatch Team Leader to join our customer-centric team. The Service Desk is embarking on an exciting time as we look to create lots of new processes, procedures and working practices. The Service Desk will become the Single Point of Contact for all IT related incidents and requests.
You will lead a team of Service Desk Analysts within the Warrington office, with responsibility for tasks related to operational performance and people management. You'll be involved in reviewing and updating Service Desk related processes and procedures, co-ordinating Service Desk Analyst coaching and mentoring. This role will focus on managing Age UK hardware assets across all sites.
The team will provide first touch support for all of Age UK's IT Infrastructure - including desktop, software and mobile device management and Telephony (includes Incidents, Requests and Changes). You'll work on operational and administrative activities associated with the Service Desk - including reports, account management, moves, adds, deletes and changes.
Passionate about providing a brilliant Customer Experience, you'll be proactive in monitoring call volumes, queues and data on a daily basis to help to ensure optimal ticket levels and responsible for ticket logging and allocation within the ITSM tool, setting an example on ticket management.
Data-driven, you'll carry out Service Desk reporting and trend analysis activities and play a key role in managing the Asset database and management process.
This role offers hybrid working, where you'll spend up to 3 days a week on-site in our Warrington office, plus ad-hoc cover as requested, working the rest of the time from home.
Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Our core hours are 08:00 until 19:00 with cover required on a rota basis across the Service Desk leadership team.
Must haves:
* Significant experience of operational management of a medium sized remote team on a busy Service Desk.

Additional Information
This role is hybrid between home-based and your designated office(s) with up to 3 days a week on-site plus ad-hoc as requested by the IT Service Delivery Management team. You'll be expected to share management cover of the Service Desk 8-7 core hours rota with the Service Desk leadership team.
Occasional travel to other Age UK sites to enable performance of the duties and responsibilities and for the purposes of maintaining and updating professional skills and development.

Job Purpose - Facilities Manager - Projects
The role holder will report directly to the Head of Estates whilst working closely with the Facilities Manager and the wider team, as well as operational colleagues.
The role holder will be responsible for the delivery of specific ad hoc estates projects, whilst also providing support to the wider Estates team in the delivery of business-as-usual activity to ensure the development of an estate that delivers outstanding outcomes for the people we support, ensuring the portfolio is managed safely, cost effectively and in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
This role requires an individual with strong project management capability within an estate’s environment, with a demonstrable track record of delivery of projects on time, to Budget and to the requisite level of quality.
Reporting directly to the Head of Estates, the role holder will:
- Lead the estates input in the expansion of the existing property footprint.
- Onboard new additions to the estate’s property portfolio efficiently and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with operational colleagues ensuring “best outcomes” are delivered for the people we support in the development and maintenance of the estate.
- Support the wider estates team in the delivery of business-as-usual activities.
- Be visible and on site to ensure the smooth running of projects and the timely resolution of issues.
Dimensions
Whilst the role currently has no direct reports assigned, the level of project activity and the consequential resource requirements will determine any additional staffing needs. The nature of individual projects will determine this although it is anticipated that project spend will be circa £0.5m+ per annum.
Principal Accountabilities
Estates and Facilities Management
- Responsibility: Act as the senior estates and facilities professional on project work assigned.
- Project Plans: Ensure there is a clear and documented estates plan for each project assigned and lead the implementation of these plans to ensure best possible outcomes for the people we support. In the planning and delivery of projects, the role holder must ensure that due consideration is given to operational requirements.
- Project Performance: Ensure a robust contract performance management framework is in place for each project.
- Regulatory: Ensure all project work is undertaken in accordance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Resource Management: Manage and co-ordinate both AFG staff and external contractors in the delivery of projects. Where required mitigating actions/plans may need to be taken to ensure that projects are delivered to requirements.
- Onboarding: With support from the Head of Estates, lead the estates input re. property acquisition (both support with the identification of appropriate property and subsequent due diligence).
- Expansion: With support from the Head of Estates, lead the estates input re. the expansion of existing estates footprint.
- Business Cases: Prepare business cases, feasibility studies for consideration by the Head of Estates and onwards by the Executive/Director team.
- Business as Usual Estates Activity: The role holder will be required to work alongside the Estates Manager and the wider estates team in the delivery of business-as-usual estates activity (including site visits, contract monitoring meetings, supervision of reactive repairs etc.), where project requirements mean the role holder has capacity to undertake this work.
Financial Management
- Financial Performance: Manage project related budgets, ensuring projects are delivered to Budget, to the requisite quality and to time.
- Procurement: Work closely with the Procurement team to source potential suppliers for services and ensure those services are sourced on a “Value for money” (VFM) basis, and in accordance with the terms of the Scheme of Reservation and Delegation.
- Tenders: Working closely with the Procurement function of the Charity, take the estates lead in tender activity where assigned, ensuring that activity is undertaken in accordance with the Scheme of Reservation and Delegation.

Job Purpose:
WomenMATTA delivers support services to women in Manchester and Trafford who are in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with, the criminal justice system. This includes one to one advice, advocacy, practical and emotional support, and group interventions.
This position will provide strategic oversight and operational management to all WomenMATTA services delivered through hubs across multiple sites in Manchester and Trafford, ensuring quality standards are consistently met, staff are effectively managed, partnerships are established and maintained, and budgets are appropriately managed.

We are seeking a Business Development Director to join our entrepreneurial team to support:
- The scale-up of pioneering enterprises
- The development of scalable partnerships that enable smallholder farmers to increase their income
- The incubation of new intermediaries and enterprises
The successful candidate will explore opportunities to create new business models and market interventions, as well as providing deep financial and commercial expertise to our Programme team.

- identifying market failures and opportunities
- developing and managing strategic projects and partnerships
- contributing to the delivery of the annual business plan.
We are looking for someone with substantial experience of working in Africa (or India) with:
- A degree in mechanical engineering
- A background in business or commerce, with a practical understanding of marketing, finance, business development
- Experience and networks in the agriculture sector
- Experience working with complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, including low-income consumers

We are excited to be advertising the role of Psychotherapy Service Manager at Respond, to lead our team and the development of our psychotherapy services with autistic people and people with learning disabilities who have experienced trauma and their families. Many of our clients may have experienced complex or multiple traumatic experiences including sexual violence, domestic abuse and neglect.
The Psychotherapy Service provides predominantly longer-term therapeutic support of a year or more, depending on how the work is funded, to an average of 130 unique individuals per year. The current team of 10 are made up of 4 senior therapists (reporting to the postholder), 4 therapists and 2 honoraries in training, the majority of whom are Arts therapists and work within a psychodynamic and/or systemic model.
We welcome applications from experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor/Psychotherapists, Arts therapists, Psychologists or Family Therapists who are passionate about our work. You will work psychodynamically, champion our trauma informed approach including our reflective practice model and have the opportunity to influence and shape the development of the psychotherapy service. Leading the small team, you will provide clinical leadership and be Safeguarding lead, ensuring we continue to provide high quality psychotherapy services. We are offering the role at 4-5 days per week, working in a hybrid manner flexibly. You can also hold your own small case load of clients, supervisees and/or consultancy work within the role.
This is a unique and specialist role and we recognise that you may have more experience in one clinical area or client group than another, given the breadth of our work and whilst you may be experienced in working psychodynamically as a therapist and as a line manager, you may be newer to leading a service for example. Or you may have a great deal of other experience and understanding of the needs of our clients from other work. We are flexible to develop the right candidate who is passionate about improving the lives of autistic people, people with learning disabilities and their family members.

Respond is entering the last year of our three-year strategy, in which we will continue to be focusing on our psychotherapy service, which is a core part of Respond’s offer as a charity for now thirty-four years. Our mission is to reduce the impact of trauma in the lives of people with learning disabilities and autistic people, by developing trusting relationships, through psychotherapeutically informed services which include advocacy, training and consultation.

Arts Emergency is looking for an enthusiastic person to join its dynamic Fundraising & Marketing team.
This rewarding role involves focusing on communicating with and nurturing a large network of donors. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fundraising environment and a good grasp of general fundraising principles and best practices in fundraising.

- Provide first-line support for all fundraising enquiries and ensure they are followed up appropriately and in a timely manner
- Ensure the fundraising database and Gift Aid declarations are up to date
- Support the Head of Fundraising in preparing income reports
- Send thank you emails and post packs to donors at all levels, and keep the website up to date with donor recognition
- Coordinate donor relationships and user experiences within Arts Emergency for regular and one-off donors and for community fundraisers
- Conduct detailed, ongoing research into new funding opportunities and prospective supporters
- Support the Finance team with income administration
- With the wider team, design a schedule of innovative donor events and coordinate preparation
- Contribute to donor communications on social media
- Undertake any task that may be requested from time to time that may be consistent with the scope of this post
