As Fundraising and Engagement Manager, you’ll seek to generate income from multiple sources and ensure high quality stewardship of relationships, finding alignment between funders and cause. You will have the gift of making people see the value of their purpose and the ability to take funders and donors on a journey to understand the power of their thought leadership and campaigning.  You’ll have a strong understanding of the funding landscape, including the priorities of potential supporters, the potential and current landscape as it relates to women and girls and their strategic direction as a charity. You’ll be able to spot alignment, spark ideas and shape opportunities that secure long-term support. 

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Engagements and working closely with the CEO and Head of People, Finance and Operations you will lead their income generation.

Main responsibilities are to:   

• Drive and deliver our income generation strategy   

• Identify and realise strategic funding opportunities 

• Build and maintain exceptional supporter relationships   

• Manage highly effective fundraising processes and systems

Substance Misuse Practitioner (Mid area)

This role sits within our children and families directorate, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for young people who urgently need support. Your role will be to help us maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services within the Essex area. 

We wish to recruit a Substance Misuse Practitioner to join the established All Age Recovery Co-ordination Service (AARCS), which we deliver in partnership with Open Road, supporting young people, adults and families affected by substance misuse.

You will undertake individual assessments and risk assessment with young people up to the age of 25, developing a person-centred care plan specific to that young person and their needs and supporting them through their recovery journey with the service. This will be delivered through a range of tailored interventions, in both a one to one and/or targeted group work capacity.

-You will have substantial experience in working with vulnerable young people either in a paid or unpaid capacity.

-You will have experience of carrying out individual and group work interventions with young people & adults.

-You will have experience in using Microsoft Office Applications and other relevant data systems.

-You can demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

About the opportunity

We're in a fantastic position to have recently have partnered with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) for an evaluation of our programmes. Excitingly this means we will be expanding our reach and starting to work in geographies that we've not reached before.

We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in Leeds/Bradford.
The Leeds/Bradford Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.
The Leeds/Bradford Programme Coordinator supports the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manages the tutor sign up process, develops relationships with schools including their Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers, collects data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and works with other internal teams on business development opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
• Responsible for overseeing the quality of tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery. Provide regular check-ins with tutors to ensure ample support and guidance is given to provide targeted tuition to pupils.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers. Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant school staff, offering regular check-ins with key school stakeholders, and contribute to impact reporting to schools. Supporting the Programme Manager with strategies to retain and sustain school partnerships.
• Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and pupil surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
• Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in their partner schools.

The nature of this role will also require you to demonstrate adaptability, resilience and the ability to cope with some uncertainty. 
 

This position would suit you if you’re looking to develop your experience in the education or charity sectors. Existing experience of working with young people and/or project management in a charity or education setting would be an asset. About the job role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Fundraising Officer in our Fundraising team at St Joseph’s Hospice.

We are looking for an experienced Events Fundraiser to join our small but dynamic fundraising team. The role will be responsible for promoting and managing a mix of third party challenge events and bespoke events whilst providing excellent stewardship to our event fundraisers. 

Working with the Public Fundraising Manager, the post holder will implement a 5 year action plan to increase income, develop effective stewardship journeys and deliver a varied and successful events calendar.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.

• Experience of managing challenge events for a Charity
• Experience of managing campaign/activity budgets of approx. £40k per year

As part of a small finance and operations team and reporting to the Head of People, Finance and Operations you will be the main point of contact within the organisation for all day-to-day finance questions and queries from the team, funders and other stakeholders. You will be an effective communicator building close relationships with colleagues, suppliers and funders. They are looking for someone who is focused but flexible, a fast learner who can manage their own workload and priorities. Ideally, they would like you to have experience within a charity finance function.

Main responsibilities are: 

• Maintain and process all financial information to produce timely accurate management reports that inform and enable the organisation to meet stakeholder needs.

• Play a key role in supporting the organisation wide budgets based on business plans. 

• Ensure compliance with and submission of VAT, Gift Aid and tax returns.

• Support the annual audit process taking oversight and responsibility for liaising with external auditors to ensure the accurate information is provided on time to meet required timescales. 

• Take responsibility for maintaining and updating financial procedures and controls and educating and informing the wider organisation through workshops and inductions. 

• Support the continuous improvement of the finance function together with the Head of People, Finance and Operations to ensure our financial governance is robust and meets the needs of the organisation.

• Experience of financial systems and process especially SAGE 50 and charity accounting.

• IT literate with knowledge of all Microsoft packages, especially advanced knowledge of excel.

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for someone who can step confidently into the role and deliver at pace. You will have:

· Significant experience in developing and implementing digital strategies across multiple channels (website, email, social media).

· Significant experience in leading and managing digital platforms, including website CMS, CRM, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.

· Proven experience in developing and implementing data strategies, including data governance, analysis, and reporting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our PCN3 Care Co-ordinator team. We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated people to take the role of Care Coordinator and join our fantastic PCN team. We will provide full training for the role. The Care Coordinator will be directed to undertake a key role in helping to drive improvements in health outcomes for patients through the delivery of early diagnosis and preventive work with a specific focus on improving the uptake of Health promotion & screening. The Care Coordinator role will support identified patients from all 7 practices across the PCN to navigate the NHS health care system and ensure that their care is coordinated.

Our PCN (PCN3) consists of 7 GP practices serving a diverse population of over 70,000 patients in and around Barnet. We enjoy excellent collaborative working relationships. Our practices are all high-achieving and innovative training practices, and our ethos is to develop our PCN with a focus on high quality, holistic patient care.  We are a strong PCN leadership team consisting of a Clinical Director & Head of Business Development & Transformation who are both aspirational and transformational. We require Care Coordinators who will complement the existing team through an enhanced passion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality patient services and to the wider agenda of team working.

JOB PURPOSE

The role will support the efficient administration and management of grant management processes, with a specific focus on the closeout of grants that have ended. This includes ensuring all relevant grant documentation is collected and filed, working with Finance team members on financial reconciliations of grants which have ended, and maintaining accurate records of grant closeout activities highlighting any risks to the Grants Manager. The role acts as a key liaison between stakeholders, providing clear communication and support to Grant Management and Finance staff, as well as liaising with Start Network members on the closure of sub-grants. Additionally, the Grant Admin Officer will highlight and document any gaps in the closeout process to improve processes where necessary. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with grantor requirements and preparing the organisation for future funding opportunities.
