You will play a pivotal role in supporting unpaid carers through listening, advising, and advocating for them. This is a remote role, with opportunities to meet your team and other colleagues at head office (Aylesbury, Bucks) at staff events throughout the year. You will need a private space for homeworking and availability to facilitate both daytime and evening meetings.
Our support meetings run from 11am–12pm, 2pm–3pm, and 7pm–8pm, Monday to Thursday. Facilitators need to be available for 30 minutes before and after each meeting for preparation and administration tasks. You'll be expected to cover a minimum number of meetings across the week, depending on your own availability and that of the other facilitators. Please note that candidates shortlisted for interview will be asked to provide more details about their availability.

The Role
Reporting to the Director, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and strengthen our fundraising strategy, ensuring sustainable growth in income to support our mission of protecting and restoring tropical forests and inspiring climate action.
The Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing an ambitious fundraising strategy, with a strong focus on corporate partnerships and trusts.
Working closely with the Director, Deputy Director, Finance and Grants Manager and Communications and Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive forward fundraising targets, cultivate new opportunities, and consolidate existing partnerships. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery, ensuring our fundraising approach is robust, ethical, and aligned with our values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development and Income Generation
● Develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the charity (with a strong but not exclusive focus on corporate partnerships), aligned with the charity’s 5-year strategic plan.
● Research, identify, and build a pipeline of new funding opportunities to diversify and expand income streams, such as corporate partners, trusts and foundations, high net worth individuals and individual giving.
● Prepare due diligence checks on potential new funding opportunities to be presented to the board / senior management.
● Develop compelling cases for support and tailored proposals to secure significant income from corporate partners primarily.
2. Systems and Process Improvement
● Establish and implement new systems for organising, stewarding, and monitoring corporate funders, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
● Introduce clear processes for donor stewardship, including trackers, reporting templates and potentially a new CRM system.
● Ensure all fundraising activities comply with fundraising regulations, data protection requirements, and ethical fundraising principles.
3. Relationship Management and Stewardship
● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective corporate funders through effective stewardship and engagement.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent relationship management for corporate partners.
● Work with the Communications and Marketing Manager to maximise fundraising campaigns such as the Big Give.
4. Events and Engagement
● Lead on the planning and delivery of a flagship summer event designed to attract funders, with the aim of securing new partnerships and long-term support.
● Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the event is well-promoted, impactful, and aligned with the charity’s mission.
● Organise and attend meetings, presentations, and other events to engage with funders and promote the charity’s work.
5. Reporting and Evaluation
● Monitor and report on fundraising income targets, maintaining accurate records of all funders and partnerships.
● Working with the relevant programmes teams, provide regular impact reports to funders, demonstrating the outcomes of their support.
● Evaluate the success of fundraising initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
6. Team Collaboration
● Work collaboratively across the team to develop funding proposals and case studies.
● Work closely with the Communications and Digital Fundraising Manager to develop online donations and regular gifts and improve the digital marketing and eNewsletter (for increasing donations).
● Contribute to innovative fundraising campaigns and activities.
● Support and participate in wider organisational activities, including events and cross‑team initiatives as required.
● Contribute to annual budget setting and targets for fundraising.
● Line management of volunteers as required.
Training will be provided to ensure that all candidates feel supported in their role and progress in their career development. Welsh language training will be offered to support learning if necessary. IT training in WordPress and other essential software will also be offered. Travel across Wales will be required.

Yada is a small charity working to prevent and remove the stigma around the sexual exploitation of women and girls. Based in West Sussex our services include specialist 1-1 tailored support to self-identifying women involved in the sex industry, as well as partnership working to deliver preventative workshops to women who may be at risk of sexual exploitation.
Our training offer to professionals who support women who are being sexually exploited has also grown over the last few years. In 2025 over 200 professionals received our training. We are at an exciting time in the development of the charity as we look to expand our services, including reviewing our established training offer and exploring new options.
The role
The Training and Resourcing Lead will have a key role to play in shaping and strengthening Yada, building on our previous success, and ensuring the charity’s sustainability as a respected specialist in the area of sexual exploitation locally and nationally. The role will have responsibility for leading on the review, design, development and delivery of our training offer to external partners and professionals, including networking and proactive local partnership building, to ensure all professionals who support women who are vulnerable to sexual exploitation receive training support. There is an expectation that the post holder will become Yada’s specialist in the sexual exploitation of women who are at risk, and be able to share this knowledge.
About you
We are seeking a self-motivated and organised female who has experience at collabarative working and relationship building, with previous experience in presenting or training. She should have the ability to take on a specialist area and share this with others in a professional manner in person or online, promoting positive learning. Ideally this person would have previous experience or knowledge of working with vulnerable people, demonstrate an understanding to responses to trauma and PTSD, or show a commitment and passion for marginalised communities and be willing to learn. Knowledge of violence against women and girls would be an advantage.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Mentoring Coordinator will contribute to upReach's mission, by helping to manage the day to day running of our professional mentoring programmes (Professional Mentoring and Ask an Expert). Professional Mentoring sees students on the upReach programme matched with a professional for a six month period, while Ask an Expert allows students to directly contact professionals for one-off conversations.
GRADUATE SCHEME SUMMARY
The Mentoring Coordinator role is part of upReach’s Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP). The FCLP provides you with a unique opportunity to:

Work directly on the upReach mentoring programmes, supporting young people and professionals to form successful mentoring relationships (4 days per week), while also;
-
Gaining exposure to various aspects of charity management through 6-month rotations (1 day per week).

Receiving training in Leadership throughout, and have the opportunity to complete an apprenticeship in Leadership and Management after 18 months on the programme (in place of rotations).
The FCLP is designed either for high-calibre graduates from any university, academic subject and background - or for those with experience in the corporate world who are looking for a career change and experience in the charity sector.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Mentoring Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that upReach’s mentoring programmes (Professional Mentoring/Ask an Expert) operate smoothly and effectively, and will report to the Volunteering Programme Manager. You will work alongside the Programmes and Partnerships teams to ensure that matches are successful, and that both mentors and mentees have a positive experience of mentoring at upReach.
1) Supporting the smooth running of mentoring programmes:

Deliver day to day operational tasks, including making mentor and mentee matches and responding to professional/student queries received via the Mentoring inbox and the mentoring platform;

Act as the primary point of contact for mentors/professional volunteers and students using the upReach mentoring platforms, and take action to resolve any issues raised;
-
Proactively monitor the success of all mentoring relationships/interactions using mentoring platform data, identifying any concerns and taking action to resolve them;
-
Develop and deliver training sessions and resources with the support of the Volunteering Programme Manager to ensure that mentors, professionals and mentees have a high-quality experience.
2) Supporting Partnerships and Programmes teams:

Work with the Programmes team to encourage Associates to register for and participate in the mentoring programmes;
-
Work in collaboration with the Programmes and Partnerships teams to help ensure that all mentoring outputs are delivered effectively and on time, and support them with reporting back to partners;
-
Act as the point of contact for employer partners whose primary activity is mentoring, and provide updates on impact measurement for these partners.
3) Rotations in different areas of charity management

As part of the FCLP programme, work on rotational projects designed to give you a greater exposure and understanding of the different areas of charity management;

You will have a six month rotation in each of the following areas during your first 18 months on the programme: (1) Fundraising, Partnerships and Comms, (2) Operations and Strategy (3) Project and Product Management;

Each week you will work on projects related to your current rotation (7.5 hours per week). These projects will be agreed with your Rotation Manager, in line with the learning objectives for each rotation.

We’re looking for a Development Co-ordinator to help shape and deliver a vibrant programme for older Nepalese women (50+) in Greenwich. This is a hands-on role focused on improving health and wellbeing, reducing isolation, and strengthening access to community and mainstream services.
