About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, using your skills and experience to grow the corporate partnerships programme and secure support from new corporate supporters.
As the Corporate Partnerships Senior Officer, you will lead on securing new six figure multi-year corporate partnerships. You will develop partnership proposals and deliver compelling pitches to secure the support of new corporate partners. You will manage aportfolio of corporate partnerships, providing excellent stewardship, identifying innovative ways to maintain and grow the support received annually.
You will work closely with colleagues to maximise long-term income opportunities to support Sustrans strategic priorities.
We offer true hybrid working, a flexible mix of working from home and occasional travel to a nearby office hub.
About you
You should have proven experience of securing six figure income from new corporate partners as well as delivering outstanding partnership stewardship to grow the portfolio of corporate partners.
We also ask that you are experienced in working autonomously to achieve fundraising targets, managing a dynamic pipeline of new business opportunities and writing and pitching persuasive partnerships proposals
You will be skilled in prospect researching, utilising your own networks to engage new corporate partners along with excellent written and communications skills, and IT skills including CRM systems
We ask you demonstrate your knowledge of regulatory framework including CiOF Code of conduct and Fundraising Regulator

Energy & Retrofit Advisor
Salary: £24,735 – £27,338 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Initially fixed term to March 2025 with potential to be extended
Location: Gateshead, Sunderland, North Tyneside, Newcastle, South Tyneside, Durham, Northumberland

About the role
Advisors will provide energy advice and raise awareness of domestic retrofit, supporting increased retrofit awareness and activity as well as working alongside staff within Local Authorities to develop and deliver projects to engage our communities and stimulate retrofit activity across the region. Energy and Retrofit Advisors will work closely with Groundwork Green Doctors supporting households suffering from fuel poverty and referring them into more specialist support where needed.
This role requires a dynamic and dedicated person who can think on their feet, someone with a caring nature who has a strong desire for helping people and is passionate about making a difference. You will need to be highly organised and adaptable as no two days will be the same.
As Groundwork’s Greener Living team grows, this role offers potential for extension and progression toward a career in Energy and Retrofit Assessment.
This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure endorsed by the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Essentials
- Level 3 Domestic Retrofit Advice Course or willingness to undertake this within the first 3 months of the role.

The CC UK charity incubates, launches, and supports locally focused foundations which open new channels of funding to support the most impactful environmental grassroots projects. Our network comprises 20 members, based all over the world, and is growing steadily.
As the demand for our model increases around the world, our income and expenditure are growing in volume and complexity. We are looking for a Finance Officer to support our financial operations through this expansion: recording financial transactions, monitoring internal controls and coordinating with our local foundations about financial management. The role will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the rest of the team. This is a critical role that is central to the success of building a robust organisation, and there is opportunity for an ambitious candidate to grow in responsibility with it.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out day-to-day financial transactions
· Process invoices to support fundraising efforts of local foundations in the network.
· Review vendors invoices as per internal controls and update them to the purchasing ledger for authorisation.
· Conduct on-going reconciliation of bank accounts and donor due diligence.
· Reconciliation of merchant accounts (Just Giving, Donorbox or Paypal) and prompt communication to local foundations and fundraising team.
· Setting up systems to process event, auction or other ad-hoc fundraising campaigns.
· Preparation of Gift Aid reporting on quarterly basis.
· Weekly payments administration using online banking.
· Maintain accurate records of financial transactions on Xero.
· Maintain monthly records of bank payments approval for audit purposes.
Coordinate income recognition with fundraising team members
· Notify local foundations about donations received and log required documentation.
· Provide formal receipts on received donations as requested.
· Reconcile Stripe transactions on Salesforce to maintain accurate donor records.
· Support with income reconciliation between Salesforce and Xero.
Support Finance Director on maintaining accurate financial information and developing ongoing internal controls
· Support creation of management accounts materials for trustees meeting.
· Support quarterly reconciliation of funds with our affiliated network member to communicate re-grants of donations
· Feed into the design of a financial manual – a how to guide for best practice in charity finance and governance oversight.
· Support annual external audit.
Supporting CC to deliver network benefits to local foundations
· Support members of the network with any financial queries.
· Communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders (Executive Directors, support team, donors) on financial queries.
· Invoice affiliates on cost recovery of services
Essential criteria:
· A recognized accounting qualification or studying towards the qualification, (CIMA, ACCA)
· Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
· An ability to work quickly and accurately
· A proven track record of teamwork with non-technical colleagues
· Stellar communication skills, verbal and written
· A keen eye for detail
· An ability to work to deadlines
· Able to manage confidential information

· Able to speak Spanish, Greek or Italian would be a bonus.

We manage and monitor our donor relations, grant giving governance, contacts, and event activities, via a bespoke and customised salesforce system. This was launched in September 2021, and has been developed and configured to meet our growing needs since then. As the demand for our model increases around the world, we need a highly capable systems specialist to support us to ensure our data systems are well managed, users are trained, and we can create accurate reports for our donors and other audiences. The role will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the rest of the team. This is a critical role that is central to the success of building a robust organisation, and there is opportunity for an ambitious candidate to grow in responsibility with it.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Salesforce System: maintenance, training, development, and reporting
Maintenance
· Ensure key objects on Salesforce such as accounts, contacts, campaigns and grants are working effectively (ensure process flows work well).
· Maintain reliable records in all objects on Salesforce by eliminating duplicates monthly, processing user deletion requests and updating records for lists with up-to-date information on key stakeholders (e.g. trustees, contractors etc).
· Weekly data back-ups.
· Uploading ad-hoc batch data from Campaigns e.g. Just Giving or historical data into Opportunities.
· Ensure regular data cleaning to enhance the credibility and adoption of the system. Spot trends with issues and feedback into system development or training.
· Oversee data governance log: maintaining log of changes to review with the team, discussing effect on budget and system usage to inform decision making.
Training and support
· Oversee user set ups, create new user profiles, and share best practices according to GDPR practices.
· Oversee smooth onboarding and training process for new members to ensure effective adoption.
· Keep training materials related to key objects updated, host internal webinars to address new feature introductions or common issues to troubleshoot.
· Promptly troubleshoot any user issues and feeding these into training to prevent it happening again.
· Respond to individual questions from users on Slack and share tips and tricks.
Automations and Development
· Manage the integration of Form Assembly, ensuring all connectors work well and troubleshoot and update individual forms when needed.
· Support users with the building of individual Form Assembly forms, updating when needed (ad hoc) and embedding them in their websites.
· Perform developments such as creating new fields, updating picklist values, page layouts, forms, automation configuration, formula fields, and other content. Work with core team to assess where a development is foundation specific, and where it should be applied across all users.
· Act as key point of contact with our external Salesforce consultants on any requests of flow maintenance or improvements and monitoring effective use of credits and budgets.
Reporting
· Build reports and dashboards for each key Object – spot trends and suggest improvements.
o Opportunities - pipeline and income reports for board meetings
o Grants - tracker and applications analysis, extraction of impact data for evaluation purposes
· Provide quarterly diagnoses of user adoption levels across the network.
· Work with exec director to prepare quarterly data for trustee meeting and annual reports.
Manage IT systems with the support of an outsourced consultant
· Act as a key point of contact with our outsourced IT company, overseeing the creation of new users and managing the leavers’ processes.
- Ensure MS365 systems are working effectively for current users, and troubleshoot issues as a first point of contact before liaising with outsourced providers.
· Maintain an up to date ‘how to guide’ for our intranet, ensuring all users know how to use it and find what they need.
· Recommend Cyber Security improvements.
· Procure IT equipment for team with support of external consultant.
· Maintain an up-to-date list of active users, MS 365 licenses and Antivirus license protection.
· Oversee the IT budget by approving expenses on a regular basis.
· To manage website domains – purchasing new ones on request, performing updates or providing access to web designers.
Essential criteria:
