As an integral member of the fundraising team, the Fundraising Administrator will support the delivery of a range of successful fundraising activity based around the centre, in order to maximise income for Maggie’s.   

As Fundraising Administrator, you will welcome and support visitors within the centre in their fundraising for Maggie’s as well as in the local community and ensuring they are motivated, informed and supported.  

This is a demanding role in a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently.  

There will be a requirement to work irregular hours as well as some local travel.

About the role:  

The Data Analyst (Geo-Spatial) is a key position in the Monitoring & Evaluation team and works closely with the wider Programmes Team to support the process of collecting, analysing, managing and storing high quality data.

The position is pivotal in the development and implementation of a new digital Information Management System (IMS) for the organisation’s Monitoring and Evaluation data. This involves working in partnership with a range of both internal and external stakeholders. 

The position will play a key role in turning geospatial evidence into insight for programme quality, landscape impact and carbon integrity. 

Main duties:  

• Lead on the analysing and interpretation of geo-spatial data across the organisation using a range of GIS, remote sensing and spatial analysis tools to support monitoring, evaluation and learning 

• Produce spatial analyses and maps to assess restoration, tree cover, land use and ecosystem change over time at project and landscape scale 

• Develop, maintain and manage online dashboards and visual analytics products to support programme management, learning and decision-making 

• Working with external developers, design and maintain digital data collection tools and workflows, covering data capture, aggregation, analysis and visualisation for project indicators and organisational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 

• Develop and maintain the organisational M&E geospatial database, focusing on areas of land benefiting from restoration activities, including tree planting, tree survival, landscape regeneration, and agroforestry systems 

• Work closely with the NbS and Carbon team to produce, analyse and quality-assure geospatial data used for carbon programmes, including baseline development, monitoring and verification

We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative legal manager for our international Environment and Sustainable Development Programme. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with deep enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of how our partners could use the law to achieve environmental justice. Working as part of a small but dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to learn at close hand what it means to work for an international NGO focusing on how the law can be used to fight corruption and achieve environmental and economic justice. You will develop projects with a range of partners, including international agencies, NGOs, CSOs and governments. You will collaborate with a range of volunteer lawyers (via law firms and barristers chambers) who are leading experts in their field. You will also help nurture, build and maintain relationships with our funders. Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement the strategic vision for ILP’s Environment and Sustainable Development (ESD) programme, in conjunction with the ESD Programme Director, Legal Fellows, Executive Director, partners, staff and Board;

2. Develop an understanding of the most effective environmental policy tools and legal interventions to deliver the programme’s objectives, through engagement with volunteer lawyers, ILP partners, ILP’s ESD Advisory Committee, staff, Board and others;

3. Support the ESD Programme Director to build and maintain ILP’s Environment and Sustainable Development (ESD) programme. This includes:

   • liaising with partners to identify legal/policy needs and offer potential legal and/or policy reform solutions, including through conducting legal analysis;

     identifying and engaging in regular outreach with potential new partners to build the project pipeline;

More about the role

Blue Cross animal hospitals and pet care clinics provide veterinary treatment to sick and injured pets when their owners can’t afford private veterinary fees. Our vet care is available to pets whose owners receive certain means-tested benefits and live within the catchment area of one of our animal hospitals or pet care clinics.   

Our Hammersmith hospital is a compact, quirky site with lots of character which first opened in 1922; we’re very proud of its history. Despite its size, it’s well equipped with digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound and a mini-lab for in-house testing and microscopy, which we actively encourage nurses to get involved to develop these skills. We have separate dog and cat wards, a dedicated room for euthanasia to ensure privacy and dignity and a designated reception team so clinical staff can stay focused on patient care.

You’ll be joining a small, welcoming team where communication really matters. We start each day with short, informal mini-meetings to share updates and we hold monthly whole-team meetings where everyone’s voice is encouraged. Working hours

This is a full-time, permanent role offering a good work–life balance, with weekday hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm. About you

Purpose of the job

This post will form part of Thames21’s Catchment Partnership team. The successful candidate will host/ co-host river catchment partnerships and will be responsible for each partnership’s strategic development and expansion, working towards the successful delivery of the Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) to improving rivers. 

You will work with multiple stakeholders and communities to manage and deliver river improvement projects across Oxfordshire and the mid-Thames region. This role is instrumental in developing and delivering a suite of projects, from citizen science water quality schemes to river habitat restoration and natural flood management, helping to implement Thames21’s vision and 5-year plan for healthy, thriving rivers across the Thames Basin.

Main duties and responsibilities: 

The officer will be expected to deliver across five priority areas:

1. Deliver small-scale river improvement projects

To deliver small-scale natural flood management, invasive species removal and habitat restoration projects, often with the aid of our volunteers and external contractors. You will also co-ordinate our citizen science water quality testing network in the region.   

2. Develop diverse, representative, collaborative and delivery focused partnerships

To work autonomously and proactively to seek out and positively engage strategic stakeholders within each catchment area, building the influence and capacity of the Catchment Partnership network to deliver improvements for rivers and local communities. These stakeholders will include (but not limited to) community groups, landowners, eNGOs, local authorities, government agencies, citizen scientists and water companies.

 3. Work with partnership networks to identify, develop and fundraise for river catchment improvement projects

To draw on their knowledge of what makes a river catchment healthy to develop ambitious and impactful catchment improvement project proposals that meet the targets of Thames21’s 5-year plan and the relevant catchment plan. Once identified, the successful candidate will be required to work with relevant Thames21 teams and external partners to successfully fundraise for the development and delivery of these projects. 

 4. Bring together identified projects into detailed, deliverable catchment and sub-catchment plans, monitoring progress against these.

The catchment partnership officer will be responsible for developing deliverable project proposals, catchment and sub catchment plans that draw together projects identified across the catchment/sub-catchment area with landowner and stakeholder support. These plans will clearly articulate priority projects required for delivery to external readers. Where necessary, the catchment partnership officer may be required to support and lead on the delivery of river improvement projects, managing project deadlines and budgets.

5. Break down silos by sharing information and bringing people together; in a way that is catchment wide, cross boundary and across multiple organisations.

The catchment partnership officer will be expected to share knowledge, news, funding opportunities and project progress between stakeholders through meetings, site visits, email newsletters and quarterly meetings of the whole Catchment Partnership (which the Officer will have the responsibility of arranging, coordinating and chairing, including the production of agendas, minutes and actions). The catchment partnership officer will be expected to communicate the work of their catchment partnership networks externally at relevant forums, including the Thames Catchment Forum and strategic community events.

We’re looking for an Operations Officer to play a central role in keeping our organisation running safely, smoothly and effectively across our central office, refuges and dispersed accommodation.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining operations, facilities management, reception, health & safety, admin coordination and service-user access support. You’ll help ensure our buildings, systems and processes enable high-quality, trauma-informed services for Black and minoritised (Global Majority) women and children.

You’ll be a key first point of contact for the organisation — welcoming, calm and professional — while helping to maintain safe, well-managed environments and strong operational systems.

• Support the day-to-day operation of the central office, refuges and dispersed accommodation

You'll have

Based in Lambeth, London, this role involves delivering practical and emotional support to survivors, ensuring their safety, and helping them rebuild their lives. Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will create a safe and welcoming environment in line with Refuge’s values and commitment to ending violence against women and girls.

As a Refuge Worker, you will support women through crisis, providing keywork sessions, safety planning, and advocacy. You will assist with accessing housing, welfare, legal support, and other essential services while maintaining accurate case records. You will also play a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of the refuge, managing referrals, and working collaboratively with partner agencies. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and resilient individual with strong communication and organisational skills. While experience in the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector is beneficial, we also welcome applications from those with transferable skills and a commitment to supporting survivors.
