Do you want to help two iconic chalk National Landscapes and a National Trail adapt in the face of climate change? We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead our Nature Ridge Landscape Connections project at its formative stage. Working closely with partners and a wide range of stakeholders, you will shape the programme, identify opportunities, assemble and submit a strong Development Application.

Nature Ridge Landscape Connections project (NRLC) is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) through the Landscape Connections programme. This aims to put landscapes into recovery supporting habitats and species alongside rich cultural heritage in better connected, working landscapes and to enable people to connect with nature and the environment. This early development work will align with NLHF priorities and support the North Wessex Downs and Chilterns’ Nature Recovery Plans, National Landscape Management Plans, emerging Climate Mitigation and Adaptation Plans, and County Local Nature Recovery Strategies.

This is a rewarding role for a creative, innovative person with excellent people skills, strong landscape and habitat knowledge, and proven experience guiding teams to define development needs and secure funding. You will be self-motivated, highly organised, and confident working in partnership across conservation, landscape, or land management sectors, ideally with local knowledge of these landscapes, their wildlife, heritage and communities. You will be an outstanding communicator, able to build trusted relationships with farmers, land managers and conservation bodies. About the role:

Real change rarely happens in a straight line. At our Ashley Road project, you’ll work alongside people who have experienced homelessness, trauma and multiple disadvantage, offering the consistency, practical support and belief that can help them begin moving forward.

As a Project Worker, you’ll hold a caseload and build purposeful, trusting relationships with clients. You’ll complete assessments, develop person-centred support and safety plans, and help people identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable to them. This could include supporting someone to improve their health, address substance use, manage their accommodation, strengthen their daily living skills or reconnect with services and opportunities in their community.

You’ll be there when situations become challenging, responding calmly to risk, safeguarding concerns and periods of crisis while continuing to recognise each person’s strengths and potential. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you’ll advocate for clients, coordinate joined-up support and help remove the barriers that have previously prevented them from accessing the help they need.

This is a hands-on and varied role where no two days will look the same. Alongside direct support, you’ll contribute to the safe and effective running of the accommodation, maintain clear and accurate records and help create an environment where clients are treated with dignity, respect and hope. You’ll also receive ongoing training, reflective practice and development opportunities to strengthen your skills and build your future career within SHP.

The working rota for this post is Monday - Friday, with no weekend shifts. The rota will consist of a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm).

The importance of your role: 

Individual giving and corporate support are vital to the delivery of RZSS's ambitious strategy and the Fundraising Manager is a senior role. Working with the Head of Fundraising and colleagues across RZSS, the post-holder will manage a small team to deliver inspiring multi-channel campaigns for individual giving, legacies and patrons as well as expanding a new major donor programme. The postholder will also manage the corporate partners programme and support the expansion of corporate sponsorship opportunities.

• Contribute to and support the implementation and delivery of the fundraising strategy and annual fundraising plans to meet agreed engagement targets

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Restoring Rivers & Catchments team. In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of large-scale environmental projects, typically valued between £300,000 and £1 million, working with key partners including water companies, the Environment Agency, local authorities and consultants.

From river restoration and habitat creation to fish passage improvements, floodplain reconnection and water quality schemes, you will play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered successfully and achieve meaningful environmental outcomes.

Site locations

The SERT region, covers the south east of England, extending from Hampshire in the west to Kent in the east, with the northern border being south of the Thames, extending down to the English Channel.

Our office is based in Leatherhead which you will be required to attend up to 4 times a month.

The amount of travel required depends on the role, and can be extensive. Most travel for an individual will be to work on project sites, which can be remote, or attending external meetings within the SERT region. The geographical range and frequency of travel is role dependent.

To support travel costs, SERT pays mileage at the current HMRC amount for travel within the SERT region. We do not pay mileage, time or any other costs for travel outside the SERT region, nor for any commutes to the office. Toll charges cannot be claimed.

Every woman deserves to feel safe where she lives — especially at night.

Our Camden Women’s Complex Needs Services provide accommodation and support for women who have experienced homelessness, trauma, Violence Against Women and Girls, and multiple disadvantage. Many of the women we support have lived through unsafe relationships, instability, exclusion, and services that have not always felt safe, consistent or trustworthy. This role is about helping to change that.

As a Night Concierge, you will be a calm, steady and reassuring presence in the service overnight, helping to create an environment where women can rest, recover and feel secure in their accommodation. You will be the first point of contact during the night, responding to residents with warmth, respect and clear boundaries, while helping to maintain the safety, dignity and stability of the building.

Your night to night work will include managing access to the service, carrying out regular building checks, responding to incidents or emergencies, reporting repairs or safety concerns, and escalating risks where needed. You will also support women with immediate practical or wellbeing needs overnight, using active listening, de-escalation skills and a trauma-informed approach to respond calmly and proportionately when someone is distressed, anxious or in crisis.

This is not a full casework role, but your work will make a real difference to the women living in the service. The way you record concerns, share information and provide clear handovers will help the wider team respond to risk, maintain continuity of support and ensure women continue to feel safe, respected and held. You will also be joining SHP at an exciting time, with access to training, reflective practice and development opportunities to support your confidence, learning and longer term career progression.

We are ideally looking for one person who can work all three required nights (Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8pm-8:30am) but we would be open to considering a job share for the right candidates.

As Programme Manager, you will provide continuity of leadership during a critical transition period. Role Purpose
