Social Media and Community Manager (2 roles)

Saving nature is going to take leadership, innovation, collaboration, storytelling and the ability to unite people to a common cause. We are looking for someone with positivity and drive to empower our online communities to take action for nature. Our social presence is a vital communication tool to help give nature a home - from inspiring a love of nature and education on the current threats that nature faces to helping them take action. The role will involve working closely with Social Media Product Owner and another social media manager to coordinate and execute all social media activity. The role will involve working closely with the team and other departments to better understand our audience needs and how we can most effectively empower them through our social platforms.

• Developing interesting and clever ideas that engage and excite our communities and followers across numerous social platforms, working closely with our content and creative teams to bring this to life

• Writing posts, tweets and status updates in a style that fits our brand guidelines and tone of voice

• Working alongside the Social Media Product Owner to create and implement the best social media strategies

• Planning and scheduling updates with military precision so that everything is posted at the right time

• Staying up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies

• Social community management and dialogue moderation across all social media and implementing appropriate reactionary and preventative strategies in a flexible and responsive way

• Regular reporting and campaign analysis, looking at trends and making recommendations.

• Overseeing social media input to organisational campaigns, ensuring our social media output is aligned to campaign objectives.

• Work with other departments and countries to ensure alignment of activities and a cohesive user experience.
