Role purpose
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Fundraising Team as a Trusts and Foundations Officer. You will play a pivotal role in maximising income from grant-giving organisations.
You will work strategically and have responsibility for identifying and approaching trusts and foundations, building a high-quality pipeline to meet fundraising targets and provide excellent stewardship. You will collaborate with teams across the charity and University Hospital Southampton to develop compelling proposals and produce high quality reports.
Main responsibilities
· Manage a prospect pool of trusts and foundations with the aim to secure mid and high value gifts and submit a minimum of six applications a month.
· Proactively identify funding opportunities to build a robust Trusts pipeline.
· Ensure a consistent pipeline movement for prospects within the role's portfolio.
· Drive and develop high-quality and effective funding proposals to Trusts and Foundations, with a key focus on securing multi-year commitments.
· Provide stewardship reports to an excellent standard in collaboration with staff from across University Hospital Southampton. Ensure tight grant management and utilisation with clinical teams for reporting.
· Create solicitation plans for all key relationships which are regularly reviewed at portfolio review meetings. Travel and meet with funders when relevant and necessary.
· Maximise gift opportunities to deliver against agreed targets and objectives.
· Explore starting a small trust mailing programme.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of including Trustees, charity colleagues, donors, nurses, doctors and clinicians.
· Ensure accurate records are maintained on Southampton Hospitals Charity database.
· Contribute to financial forecasting and income projections and develop annual action plan of application submissions.
- Assist with organising stewardship events for funders and confidently represent Southampton Hospitals Charity at external events and in conversations with funders.

- A proven track record of delivering income from Trusts and Foundations
- Experience of maintaining relationships with funders and providing tailored donor care and stewardship plans

The Role
FareShare has a dynamic fundraising department that has seen incredible growth in support in an incredibly short space of time. We are now looking for a proven Supporter Retention Manager to join us as we embark on our next phase of deepening engagement with current and new supporters.
This newly created role is an integral part of the Fundraising team’s growth plans to become a £40 million income generating team.
Working closely with the Supporter Acquisition Manager, Supporter Experience Manager (Fundraising Operations) and the wider Fundraising team, the post-holder will lead on stewardship campaigns encompassing Warm Appeals, Regular Giving asks, Supporter newsletters and cross-sell campaigns across FareShare’s audiences. Line management of an Individual Giving Officer (or Assistant) may form part of the roles and responsibilities further down the line.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity for a proven Individual Giving professional to help drive innovation in supporter retention and development and make a decisive contribution to a high-performing team.
Main areas of responsibility
1.Plan and deliver the Warm Appeals programme in line with agreed budget targets and annual workplans
- Campaign manage the Cash Appeals programme at all stages, from initial planning through to supplier management and post-campaign analysis
- Develop and implement a rolling programme of Regular Giving Asks.
2.Develop and manage a seamless supporter journey and consistency of messaging from the initial touchpoint through to longer-term giving
- Work with the Supporter Acquisition Manager and the Supporter Experience Manager on planning, delivering and managing a seamless supporter journey and consistency of messaging from the point of acquisition
- Actively monitor Supporter attrition levels and implement measures to mitigate disengagement
- Hold regular catch-ups with the Supporter Acquisition Manager and the Supporter Experience Manager to optimise collaborative working across both teams
- Keep up to date on the latest trends and techniques in Supporter Stewardship and apply learnings as appropriate on retention initiatives.
3.Maximise opportunities for cross-team campaigns
- Collaborate with the wider fundraising team on new and existing income generation opportunities.

Role Information
The Finance Manager is a key strategic role within the organization and will be part of the Senior Leadership Team. As Family Gateway enters into year 2 of its 3-year strategic plan, this is an exciting time in which the Board of Trustees, Senior Leadership team, staff and volunteers will shape the future of service delivery for the community that it serves in Howdon and Wallsend and as it reaches beyond and across the North East with its Barefoot Professional Model of service delivery with steady growth in mind. The post holder therefore will be required to have a good understanding of the political and funding landscape and be able to form good stakeholder relationships.
The post holder will manage a small core staff team and will oversee the day-to-day financial operations within the company, including Payroll, Debtors, Creditors, and Banking. The post holder will be responsible for Budgets, Management Accounts, Taxation, and all income streams including Grant Funding. In addition, the postholder will ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met, Companies House and the Charity Commission. The post holder will also be the key contact for auditing, and other financial needs as necessary and will track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
The post holder will also seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company and research and analyze financial reports and market trends. The post holder will also be responsible for the management of Family Gateways assets, IT and quality assurance systems and will ensure Family Gateway is complaint in all areas of risk, governance and business.
Key Accountabilities:
• To be responsible for the oversight of all Financial Services including risk management systems and processes within Family Gateway reporting directly to the CEO.
• The post holder will stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes and oversee all IT and data functions within the organization
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
• Understand and adhere to Statutory and Regulatory financial regulations and legislation, including Companies House and The Charity Commissioners.
• To oversee the day-to-day management of the organizational risk register ensuring it is up to date and prepared for sub committee
• To write and/or contribute to the writing of tenders and grant applications and where appropriate collate information to aid the reporting requirements of funders
• To manage a small core function team as directed by the CEO providing regular supervision, performance management and annual appraisals.
• Be responsible for the maintenance and management of the Contracts Database ensuring all information is uploaded or removed as appropriate and that regular monitoring of this information provides information to the CEO and other managers in order to inform sound project management delivering projects to scale, to time and within budget
• To work in partnership with operations staff and The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) supporting the maintenance of an effective IT and CRM system which in turn will measure project data and produce KPI’s.
• Liaise with IT provider to ensure Cyber Security integrity measures are in place and working effectively. Control and Monitor IT access via Role Permissions and Passwords.
• To Control and Monitor as the GDPR Lead for the organization, keeping up to date with ICO registration and guidance and overseeing a robust Data Breach Register, ensuring all staff are trained annually in line with company policy
• Produce accurate and timely financial management information on a monthly basis to support decision-making and to present information to the Board of Trustees, attending Board meetings as required
• Establish and maintain appropriate, robust and secure financial recording processes for purchasing and payment of items and management of petty cash, including Cash Floats, Fixed Asset Register, Banking, and Taxation including VAT.
• To produce and prepare annual budgets and cost scenarios for the Board of Trustees, CEO and SLT and to host monthly finance reviews with SLT
• To ensure timely payroll data is prepared, checked and processed prior to submission to third party provider and thereafter import to Finance system via journal entry. To oversee appropriate pension and insurance provision is in place on behalf of the company and that legal compliance is followed.
• Prepare ad hoc financial and activity information to support new project development plans as required
• To engage fully in management meetings, supervision and appraisals
• Demonstrate professionalism, tenacity and empathy in their work
• To undertake any reasonable task as requested in line with the senior nature of this role

We are looking for an exceptional Centre Manager to help us ensure that everyone who works in and visits our Centre is well looked after and has a fantastic experience.
The role is based at our beautiful Grade 2 listed building in Southwark. - Maintain the building to ensure that the Centre can function as a public space that looks great, and is secure and safe

The person we are looking for will have:

Usual hours are within 9am to 5pm but the post requires occasional out-of-office hours and flexible working in order to fulfil event commitments. The Centre Manager is the first point of contact for any building issues that occur out of hours, supported by our security and external keyholder companies.
A generous holiday allowance is provided - 30 days a year for a full time position (rising to 35 after 5 years service) plus Bank Holidays and closure between Christmas and New Year.

About the Ukraine programme
Since the Russian invasion of 24th February 2022, Ukraine has been subjected to heavy artillery bombardment, missile, and air strikes, as well as the use of landmines and cluster munitions. The scale of the conflict and the use of high impact and indiscriminate weapons requires an urgent and extensive response. MAG responded to the crisis in 2022 and now employs nearly 200 staff in our Ukraine programme, in a range of operational and support/administrative activities with further scale-up planned during 2024. The programme has a representation office in Kyiv, and operational offices in Mykolaiv (also covering accessible areas of Kherson) and now in Kharkiv.
About the role
This role reports to the Country Director (CD) and encompasses a wide range of duties and responsibilities, including managing logistics, procurement, basic financial, and HR services. The Base Manager serves as the primary point of contact for ensuring robust and efficient administration and field coordination. Additionally, this role involves representing MAG in interactions with local authorities, other organizations, and NGOs within the relevant area of operations.
About you
You will have experience working and living overseas, ideally in sensitive conflict or post-conflict environments, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This varied role requires proven experience in implementing and managing logistics, HR, administration, and finance systems.
In the capacity of a security focal point in a high-risk location, you should possess experience in monitoring dynamic security situations and formulating comprehensive security procedures and policies. Our preferred candidate demonstrates a proactive approach, adaptability to address evolving needs, and thrives within a multicultural team environment, exhibiting composure in stressful situations. Proficiency in English is crucial, alongside outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. You should also be able to demonstrate a track record of fostering constructive relationships with authorities, NGOs, and partners, while effectively overseeing the development and management of national staff teams.
The postholder should be willing and able to live and work in a remote and insecure environment with extremely restricted movement.

We’re looking for a Challenge Events Manager to join our Sports and Challenge Events Team managing an innovative and evolving portfolio of mass participation events, including the mighty London Marathon.
You’ll join a driven team committed to growing our challenge events portfolio and delivering standout supporter experiences, whether they’re jumping out of a plane or crossing that iconic London Marathon finish line. You’ll be marketing a range of tantalising mass participation events to supporters and devising engaging and inspiring stewardship journeys to make their Young Lives vs Cancer experience memorable.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
