The Stewardship and Events team, with the Senior Stewardship and Events Manager leading, plays an important role in transforming our high value fundraising through the development of transformative funding propositions, high profile fundraising and stewardship events and the creation of the highest quality stewardship tools.

This role will be a crucial part of the High Value Partnerships leadership team and represents a fantastic opportunity to support the growth and development of our major donor, trust and statutory and corporate partnerships portfolios.

About You

You will have experience of building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts specifically for major donors, companies and grant funders. You will have a flair for translating complex information into simple concise and compelling communications in a range of formats. You will also have excellent attention to detail, with experience of interpreting financial and impact data.

You will have experience in developing a special events programme to support engagement and high value fundraising; understanding the importance of events within high value stewardship plans.

Your excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills combined with your experience of working with a range of internal teams and external stakeholders will ensure that the needs of our high value funding audiences are met and understood.

You will be a highly experienced people manager and leader, possessing strong relationship and project management skills. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work across a number of conflicting deadlines and priorities. You will ideally be able to demonstrate fundraising experience and previous experience of working with high net worth individuals and committees is advantageous.

Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic, you will have excellent communication and influencing skills, and be comfortable adapting confidently to a wide variety of social settings. 

About the Role

As Senior Stewardship and Events Manager, you will be leading on the creation of ambitious funding propositions which will be attractive to high value donors and funders, working with key stakeholders from across the organisation to fully understand our existing services and transformational projects; translating complex information into compelling cases for support to be used by our High Value Partnerships team in funding applications, pitches and proposals. You will work closely with Recovery Services, Data and Insights and Finance teams to ensure all relevant information is gathered and reporting and evaluation processes are in place.

Working with your team and the wider High Value Partnerships team you will develop a special events programme to support engagement and fundraising, as well as leading on the development of developing engaging and relevant donor and prospect communications. You will work alongside the High Value Events Officer and other High Value Partnerships Senior Managers to conceptualise, plan and deliver a range of event types, offering a variety of activities to engage and inspire high value supporters, and ensure they are connected to, and inspired by, the work of Help for Heroes.

You will support our relationship management teams across High Value Partnerships to embed and further develop the high value stewardship strategy to ensure those who support Help for Heroes at the highest levels enjoy an exceptional supporter experience.

• Prepare the monthly management accounts, review variances, trends and performance, and identify cost drivers on an ongoing basis.
• Liaise with budget holders to discuss financial performance and results, and to formulate plans for remedial action where necessary.
• Prepare year-end accounts for one or more specific directorates, and contribute to the production of the HCPC's overall annual report and accounts.
• Provide financial advice and support to major HCPC projects and initiatives, liaising with senior managers and project leaders as necessary. Ensure that all project costs are accurately recorded and reported, and that variances are identified at an early stage
• Coordinate the financial aspects of the HCPC's efficiency programme, including target setting, profiling, validation and reporting of all planned and confirmed efficiency savings.

• Qualified Accountant/Working towards Accountancy Qualification in the UK (ACCA, CIMA)
• A strong background reviewing variances, trends and performance and identification of cost drivers on an ongoing basis.
• Significant previous experience of management accounts to include production of the annual budget and subsequent quarterly forecasts and monthly management information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, at all levels of the organisation.

Room to Heal is a human rights charity and therapeutic community based in London. Our mission is to support people who have survived or witnessed torture and organised violence to rebuild their lives in exile, through an integrated programme of therapeutic and casework assistance. About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team and lead our fundraising efforts. This is a key role in ensuring we have the resources to continue providing vital support to survivors of torture and human rights violations. As the Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, building relationships with key donors, and exceeding fundraising goals. The Business Partnering manager plays a critical role managing the budgeting & forecasting work across Diabetes UK ultimately, working closely with the Head of Finance & senior stakeholders, to ensure that we deliver our vision in a sustainable way.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and leading the wider supporter care team, the Individual Giving Manager is responsible for the end to end Individual Giving Programme. You will help maximise supporter recruitment and development opportunities whilst ensuring long-term growth for St Giles Hospice.

To manage the delivery of the Individual Giving Programme which includes recruiting new cash and regular giving supporters from a variety of multi-channel campaigns and initiatives. To deliver the warm campaigns such as cash appeals, regular giving, raffles and lottery.

To manage the stewardship of supporters through the proactive and effective data management, delivering an excellent supporter experience through targeted supporter journeys. To develop, deliver and proactively manage campaign plans, budgets, and reports for senior stakeholders.

Knowledge and experience

Essential

·Experience of working in third sector

·Experience in a communications and marketing role

·Demonstrable experience individual giving / customer, and donor / customer acquisition, retention and segmentation in a charity / commercial setting

·Track record of successfully managing and developing relationships with individual supporters, customers or clients.

·Experience of successfully developing and implementing a plan for individual giving / customer, and donor / customer acquisition, retention in a charity / commercial setting.

·Knowledge of regulatory environment for fundraising from individuals including data protection, Gift Aid and Fundraising Codes of Practice and regulation

·Experience of and resilience to meeting targets and KPIs.

·A proven track record of success in working with others, managing people, and delivery of high-quality results to deadlines

·Experience of working with data for marketing and analysis purposes

·Good knowledge of data selection, data analysis, insight and application of datasets for maximum success

·Experience of project management, including budget setting and management.

·Experience using Donorflex or a similar CRM database.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Chief Operating Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Operating Officer to join the team in this hybrid-working role.

About the Role

Our team currently consists of 8 dedicated staff members and is led by our CEO, Anne Bishop. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a new role for BAUS. It will be a key part of our Senior Leadership Team, playing a vital part in the development and implementation of our strategy and deputising for the Chief Executive.
