Purpose of the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager will implement and help develop a new digital marketing strategy, crucial to the ongoing development of ArtsEd’s profile and reputation and the successful delivery of all our programmes.

Understanding the needs of current and prospective students and pupils and their parents, and being able to identify digital plans and initiatives which will enable ArtsEd to meet both the long and short-term needs is a central aspect of the role.

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead in the planning and implementation of digitally creative and customer focused campaigns and will be responsible for the achievement of student and pupil recruitment targets. They will work closely with senior staff and the rest of the Marketing team to deliver highly effective experiences to all stakeholders and potential stakeholders.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the continuing development of ArtsEd’s online profile amongst all of our target audiences, including high-level industry connections, potential supporters and the local community, alongside potential students, pupils and parents.

In addition, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that ArtsEd’s messaging is consistent, innovative and compelling across all platforms.

Digital Marketing

• Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns in collaboration with the wider marketing team.
• Use digital marketing expertise to create effective user funnels to optimise conversion rates, tracking user behaviour in order to refine processes.

• Collaborate closely with staff across the organisation to identify storytelling opportunities to ensure a full understanding of ArtsEd’s broad range of target audiences.

• Set up digital advertising campaigns through Meta, Google Ads and other platforms

• Utilise excellent graphic design skills to collaborate with the team on the design and delivery of different digital campaigns for all stakeholder groups. This will include mass e-mails, social media posts and digital collateral as required.
• Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
• Monitor social media communications (both comments on posts and direct messages) and respond in a timely and appropriate manner.

Design & Brand

• Be a guardian of the ArtsEd brand, ensuring correct and effective use of our branding and house style both internally and externally.
• Ensure all digital information is accurate, up to date and relevant.
• Ensure ArtsEd embraces and celebrates diversity and inclusion through all digital marketing touchpoints.
• Develop and manage image library including liaising with relevant staff to select images, co-ordinating in-house photography and film requirements, up-dating plasma screen and fulfilling external requests for images.
• Ensure all touchpoints communicate ArtsEd visual identity. Working with the wider Marketing team to review and implement ArtsEd brand architecture structure on digital platforms

Graphic Design

• Create print and digital advertising material using Canva or similar software.
• Design and create in-house digital signage and support the Marketing Officer where needed.
• Support the print production process, liaising with printers and publications, proof reading and adapting print collateral as required.

Recruitment

• Lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust digital marketing strategy to optimise student and pupil recruitment across the whole organisation. This will include:
• Building on existing digital activity to maximise its reach and impact against all of our target audiences, including digital and associated print advertising.
• Managing an associated  programme of recruitment focused events and activities, both virtual and face-to-face, to raise our profile and to maximise our enquires, registrations, applications and acceptances across all of our activities.
• Supporting the relevant teams in the delivery of this programme, which will include existing activity e.g. Day School and Sixth Form Open Days, degree audition days and our outreach programme.
• To programme our email marketing conversion communication using software Mailer Lite/MailChimp
• Overseeing the production of all marketing collateral.

Social Media

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of a social media plan that aligns with and enhances all strands of the marketing and communications strategy
• Create engaging and content drive social media assets.
• Oversee and a schedule the delivery of day-to-day social media content
• Work with the marketing officer to Launch as short form video content strategy for all platforms with aligns with the Marketing and organisations strategy.
• Be the expert in understanding movements regarding social networks ensuring ArtsEd has a presence and brand building content on the right platforms.
• To have responsibility for all digital advertising, including social paid adverts.

Website

• Manage through line managed staff all aspects of the ArtsEd website, ensuring that it remains relevant to all users at all times. This will include:-
• Ensuring factual content is kept up-to-date, imagery and video is regularly refreshed and that the overall site reflects ArtsEd’s unique offer.
• Identifying opportunities to create and update brand focused content
• SEO
• Analytics

Market Analysis/Planning

• Review and analysis of data to identify competitor tactics, market trends, new opportunities and challenges.
• Ability to understand different audiences and relevant content to ensure successful conversion rates and enhance the student and stakeholders experience.
• Explore  new methods for collection of data and how this can be used to improve recruitment processes
• Complete quarterly digital impact reports
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Implement regular surveys of students and staff, collecting quantitative and qualitative material to support marketing and communication campaigns.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
• Shape outcome based on data.

Events

• Work with team on the planning and delivery on a programme of events, including Auditions, Open Evenings and Open Events.

Other

• Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested.

The Direct Marketing Officer will support the development, management, and optimisation of London’s Air Ambulance Lottery and Regular Giving programs which has phenomenal success via face-to-face fundraising. An exciting opportunity which will see the successful candidate working closely with the Operations Team, paramedics, doctors, and pilots to develop and deliver training to face-to-face fundraisers that brings the work of London’s Air Ambulance to life. The post holder will also work closely with external agency partners, as well as internal stakeholders and various teams within the charity.

The successful candidate will thrive on collaborative work, excel in presenting compelling narratives which inspire other fundraisers to do the same. An analytical mindset is essential, along with the ability to grasp facts and data to manage projects effectively. This role is the vital link between key internal charity stakeholders and external fundraisers, trainers, and account managers and therefore a thorough understanding of the sector and or campaign management via a similar role within the charity or private sector will be key.

The post holder will deliver quality fundraising campaigns, including Cash Appeals, Regular Giving and Lottery that will grow income, supporter base and lifetime value. About the role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to steer us in the next stage of our journey. This is an exciting development of an existing role at Overcoming MS and will allow the successful candidate to make the position their own.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering an innovative new digital marketing approach, through the innovation, creation and delivery of projects and activities which increase leads, donations and engagement for Overcoming MS charity.

 Key Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Manager will work across several areas, including:

1. Conversion optimisation

· Increasing our donations and data capture - to enable us to continue the dialogue and create donations from a greater percentage of those who visit our website, or interact with other digital channels.

· Working with our agency partner to optimise key landing pages and signposting for conversion.

2. User journey optimisation

· Helping people find the right content based on data optimisations so that more people find what they need and understand what else the charity could offer them. Using HotJar for insights.

· Automated email journeys - Building customer journeys to support the Program pillars to build deeper relationships with people in our community.

3. Increasing reach and traffic generation

· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.

· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).

4. Testing to improve results continually 

· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.

· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.

5. Digital project management

· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.

6. Campaign support

· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.

7. Gathering community feedback

· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.

8. Supplier collaboration

· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.

About you

Strong digital skills

• A proven track record of managing digital products/projects/programmes which create value for end-users. 
• Strong working knowledge and experience in digital solutions.
• Experience in evaluating and improving existing digital programs.
• Significant experience working with 3rd party digital providers to create solutions that work for the target audience.
• Confident in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Excellent understanding of AB testing to maximise conversion rates.
• Experience in using tools like HotJar (preferred).
• Strong analysis skills.

About You:

Having worked in a third sector direct marketing role previously, you will have experience running effective national and regional campaigns using a variety of fundraising channels including digital, email, social media, direct mail, and telemarketing. The role is to project lead the day-to-day development, management and delivery of a number of fundraising campaigns across channels such as DRTV, inserts and door drops. Overseeing the creative and delivery of campaigns from initial brief through to post campaign analysis, contributing to and ensuring the Supporter Activation team meets agreed objectives and income targets.

Key to this role will be to lead on the management and development of the DRTV programme (from creative to planning) which plays a significant part in the activation programme.

You'll also:

• Lead on the management, delivery and development of all aspects of the DRTV programme. Taking particular responsibility for creative development and innovation, media planning and campaign analysis.
• Support the Senior Marketing Manager (Supporter Activation) in the strategy and innovation of the DRTV programme to drive growth in this pivotal channel.
• Support the Senior Marketing Manager and working closely with the Marketing Officers to manage, deliver and develop the other channels in the extensive activation portfolio such as inserts, door drop and integrated media and creative campaigns, taking particular responsibility for media planning, buying and analysis.
• Support the Senior Marketing Manager in the management, delivery and development of campaigns within the Brand Consideration programme. Including collaboration with a wide number of internal teams and external colleagues to create integrated creative campaigns utilising multiple channels.
• Lead media and creative agency relationships at a strategic level; including taking a lead on pitching and appointing new agencies, including contract management. Act as first point of contact for external partners where required, taking responsibility for resolving queries, trafficking all stages of projects, escalation of potential problems and performance reviews.
• Lead on creative development; contribute to the overall strategy for the Individual Giving & Engagement Team, make decisions on creative strategy, approach, copy and design, working closely with Communications Team to accurately reflect the brand.
• Develop, plan and manage complex income and expenditure budgets for a portfolio of activities, some with six figure budgets and targets; including using complex reforecasting models to provide projections for income and expenditure.
• Ensure that all communications are carried out within FRSB, DPA and Charity Commission guidelines.

About You:

• Substantial proven experience of working in a similar fundraising and/or customer marketing role managing an expenditure budget to deliver campaigns using a wide range of media.
• Proven experience of managing DRTV campaigns, working closely with media, creative and production agencies.
• A track record of developing and implementing successful direct marketing strategies working in a complex direct marketing role / team. Including experience of strategic planning and executing multi-faceted activation campaigns for both below and above the line channels.
• Proven experience of managing large volume media campaigns including media planning, buying and analysis.
• Significant project management experience including identifying new fundraising opportunities and developing a framework for implementation.
• Experience of developing and managing complex budgets, using relevant monitoring and evaluating tools.
• Ability to develop, monitor and adapt DM strategies for the implementation of fundraising channels; including advising on the direction of the overarching direct marketing programme.

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is a regional Charity that provides life-saving care across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. About the role:

You will manage and lead our professional and enthusiastic events team to ensure every participant has an exciting, fun and ultimately great experience taking part in an event for East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) from sign up, through to on the day, and beyond.

You will lead on the creation, development and implementation of an events strategy for all mass participation and flagship events (sporting and non-sporting) for EAAA. You will consult with key colleagues from across the charity to set clear long-term and short-term objectives, with measures and KPIs based engagement and acquisition targets, providing regular reports to the Head of Community, Corporate and Events.

You will be responsible for the overall events team budget, setting, monitoring and reporting on income and expenditure for all events and the team. Taking proactive action to address any shortfalls in income, manage resources and capitalise on opportunities and work to minimise expenditure, to ensure you achieve budget.

You will lead the team’s activity in managing our existing flagship challenges and non-sporting mass participation events, securing opportunities for supporters to access a diverse events portfolio, offering an inclusive and bespoke range of events including places in some of the most sort after regional and national events including; the London Marathon and Norfolk Marathon.

You will lead on ensuring all participants experience an effective and active stewardship plan, ensuring all event participants maximise their fundraising potential and lifetime value for the Charity.

You will oversee and manage effective relationships with existing and new third-party event suppliers including monitoring the fundraising events environment for competitor analysis and building a useful network of supplier and sector contacts to assist with event delivery and develop and manage an effective tendering process for all third-party event suppliers.

You’ll work with the corporate fundraising team to manage new and existing corporate relationships to secure support for EAAA and sponsorship for events and ensure they are developed and built on for the future. You will ensure that they are representing the values of EAAA and we are supporting their objectives.

About you:

Through your exceptional planning and with the Charity’s reputation at the forefront of your decisions, you will ensure all our event participants always have an outstanding experience supporting EAAA.

You will have experience managing events income and expenditure budget, target setting and reporting. Experience of developing business cases for events and insight led event development, utilising data and market analysis skills.

You will be highly organised and have excellent communication skills. Equally comfortable in line management, negotiating with suppliers, managing a tendering process, negotiating contracts, and experience of being accountable for risk management and health and safety at events.

You will be able to drive and due to the nature of the events, you will need to have a flexible approach to work so you can support out of hours work, including weekends. Time off in lieu is offered for additional hours worked.

You will live within our region, have a great knowledge of the area and believe in the work of East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The Eve Appeal, working together with the Department of Health and Social Care, is delivering a groundbreaking programme on gynaecological health to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in London and beyond.

We are entering the final year of the programme and pivotal to its success will be bringing new SMEs on board so that we can deliver our health information to their staff. Up until March 31st 2025 there is no charge for SMEs to join the programme.

As Sales & Marketing Executive you will lead on researching and approaching new SMEs to joint the programme, complete all necessary contracts, lead on overall project management and co-ordination of the program, liaise with our external evaluators on monitoring and evaluation and other administrative tasks as directed.

This role will also line manage the Programme Leads – our staff who visit SMEs and deliver our health information talks.

No formal qualifications are needed for this role, nor is previous charity sector experience. What is important are the skills, experiences and potential you bring.
