Purpose of the post
The Development and Partnerships Officer will support the stewardship of partnerships and the delivery of partnership campaigns that generate income, reach and impact for the organisation. The role will provide essential coordination, administration and relationship management support, helping to ensure partnerships are well managed, activated effectively and aligned with strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will have experience of stewarding partnerships, fundraising, delivering across multiple projects. Key responsibilities
The role will work across the charity to support the delivery of partnership and national campaigns which generate income, reach and brand value for the organisation. It will provide essential coordination, administration and relationship support, ensuring partnerships are well managed, activated effectively and aligned with delivery requirements.
Stewardship: Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

Context and Background
The NSPCC’s mission is to end cruelty to children. Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We share it. It drives our Engagement and Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse.
Within the Engagement and Fundraising Directorate, our aim is to maximise resources for the NSPCC’s mission by raising funds, providing the best possible supporter experience, and building long-term relationships between donors and our cause. To continue to deliver our mission we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of our annual income.
In a challenging fundraising environment, the need to keep children safe from abuse and neglect remains urgent. The Supporter Management team sits within the Philanthropy & Partnerships Department, established to steward and grow the NSPCC’s ‘High Value’ audience. This function delivers the research, propositions, communications and events that enable fundraisers to build rewarding, long-term relationships with our biggest supporters.
In this role, you will work with colleagues to identify which events will most attract and motivate high value supporters. You will then design and deliver these, working with external stakeholders where appropriate. Through your work, you will be giving donors the opportunity to understand our work and the difference their support makes. And by doing that, you’ll help to keep hundreds of thousands of children safe.

Main duties and responsibilities
·To manage and deliver a portfolio of engagement and stewardship events, coordinating all event logistics.
·To work closely with the Engagement and Stewardship Manager and the Stewardship Executive to ensure events are integrated with and complement the overall stewardship plan for supporters.
·To manage events budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
·To ensure that stewardship events are fit-for-purpose through regular evaluation and monitoring of delivery against objectives.
·To collaborate and support departments and teams using engagement events and stewardship in their fundraising by sharing best practice, audience insight, knowledge and contacts.
·To manage relationships with senior volunteers and key supporters in relation to engagement and stewardship events.
·To use creativity to develop a file of the interesting and engaging elements that constitute a successful event (e.g. interesting venues, excellent caterers, etc.).

Person specification

Role Overview
The Dementia Service Co-ordinator is a newly created role responsible for coordinating and developing Age UK Croydon’s Dementia Service. A varied role with development, supervisory, and facilitation responsibilities, it offers an exciting opportunity to join the team and help shape the service to support people living with dementia, their carers, and the wider community. The Dementia Service sits within the Healthier Lifestyles Team and currently offers six monthly Memory Tree Cafés for people living with mild to moderate dementia and their carers, alongside co-located support groups for carers. Cafes are delivered at our Brigstock Road Community Hall and across the borough in local community venues.
The role has two main areas of responsibility: coordinating, facilitating and expanding the existing café and carers’ group; developing a new preventative strand of the service focused on providing information and advice to residents aged 50+ on raising awareness of dementia, promoting brain health and reducing the risk of developing dementia.
The post holder will ensure the effective delivery, monitoring and evaluation of our dementia-related services across the borough. You will supervise and work with the staff and volunteer team to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment within our Memory Tree Cafes and carers’ support groups which promotes interaction, stimulation and wellbeing. You will build and maintain positive working relationships across Age UK Croydon and with external partners, referrers and stakeholders, including health professionals and voluntary organisations, to develop and promote the service.
Age UK Croydon is currently reviewing its Dementia Service, and in this role the post holder will work closely with the Healthier Lifestyles Service Manager to put the review’s recommendations into practice, ensuring improvements and new monitoring systems are embedded across the service.

Paid Media
- This is a vital and rapidly growing area for the charity, and this role will manage all paid-for digital marketing, including lead generation and acquisition (Meta, Google, etc.).
- Create advertising campaigns and ensure effective tracking, monitoring, improvements, evaluation, and reporting of campaigns.
- Oversee our Google Ads grant (PPC) and (CRO) Google Tag Manager.
- Manage our main Google Ads account and launch Search, Display, and YouTube advertising for our digital-first Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month campaign.
- Deliver detailed advertising reporting using Looker Studio or other similar digital dashboards.
Digital content
- Manage and maintain the content calendar, including planning and scheduling content that aligns to both Pancreatic Cancer Action and project objectives.
- Create and manage the sourcing of high-quality content for blogs, website pages, social media posts, email content and for all other digital channels.
- Write, edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment to Pancreatic Cancer Action’s Text and Brand Guidelines.

Social media

About the role
You will establish Impact and Information as a core strategic capability, leading the development and delivery of a robust monitoring, evaluation and impact framework across Barts Charity’s research and grants portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
We are looking for highly motivated and organised individual to coordinate our accreditation scheme. The role will work with our network of employers, and support new organisations through the accreditation process.
The Programme Officer will lead our work in Yorkshire and Humber support our Managers to grow and deepen engagement with Living Wage Employers through our associated schemes. You will help to ensure our resources and publicity materials are well written and up-to-date, and to coordinate events to grow our employer network.
