As an Employment Consultant, you will be assisting veterans across the South East back into work. Based at your home, but with extensive travel, you will help with application materials, overcome challenges, and connect with employers. You will also work alongside professionals in other services such as health or welfare to ensure that the veterans have access to all the support they need to overcome barriers to gain and retain employment.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Culturally Appropriate Advocacy Service provides Advocacy for racially minoritised people (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people) in Greater Manchester who are being treated in a psychiatric inpatient site or who are at risk of detention under the Mental Health Act.
We aim to address racial disparities experienced in mental health care through Advocacy. We know that people from racially minoritised backgrounds are more likely to be detained under the Mental Health Act and experience worse outcomes when accessing care. Our Advocates work in partnership with the people they support and take their side. We promote social inclusion and social justice through Advocacy.
We want to proactively support our Advocate team and are introducing independent group supervisions based on the feedback from our Advocates. The Group Supervision Facilitator will facilitate monthly 1.5-hour group supervision sessions for a team of Culturally Appropriate Independent Advocates.

Key Responsibilities

Leading communications advice and delivery for change within the Foundation, particularly on HR/ People-related changes and internal projects.

Delivery of communications to support the in-sourcing of our Fundraising function (against a stage 1 plan which has been created) including staff and partner communications, stakeholder management, and Fundraising supporter communications.

Supporting the Foundation with wider internal change as this work develops, advising on and creating key messaging, communications assets such as FAQs, and use of relevant communications channels.

Working closely with a small friendly staff team, and 3 regional family carers (specifically employed for this project), you will be responsible for developing 3 regional networks across England, sharing best practice locally and nationally, linking with the Challenging Behaviour – National Strategy Group, and ensuring co-production and family carer engagement is promoted and embedded as best practice.
About You
You will have up to date and relevant knowledge and/or experience of children’s and/or adult policy and practices (learning disabilities) across health, education and social care and be fully committed to working in co-production and supporting family carers to fully engage as partners in the process to achieve the best outcomes.
A proven project manager, who thinks strategically and has the ability to work with a range of stakeholders across multiple sites, You will need to be highly organised, skilled at project management, knowledgeable about current policy and practices, and a confident communicator adept at influencing a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
1) Overseeing Financial Management, Reporting, and Monitoring (60%):
- Manage the financial aspects of funded scholarship programmes, including budgeting, reporting, and monitoring spending.
- Prepare narrative and financial reports for donors, coordinating with UWC schools.
- Lead the process of collecting and analysing data on scholarship recipient students and refugee students across all UWC schools for donor reporting, brochures and publications.
- Collate invoices from UWC schools, create invoices for donors and process invoices for payment.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient use of the accounting system.
- Support the improvement of impact tracking for funded programmes.

- Plan and organise annual onboarding and offboarding sessions for IO-managed scholars.
- Develop appropriate information materials for scholars and UWC schools to support timely and quality donor reporting.
- Implement a yearly offboarding survey with scholars, working closely with the Engagement Team.
- Support coordination between UWC schools and national committees during the selection process and pre-departure preparation.
3) Coordinating University Partnerships (10%):
- Coordinate partnerships with universities on behalf of UWC International, working closely with the Senior Adviser, UWC counsellors and EducationTeam.
4) Assisting the Philanthropy Team with Administration incl. Donation Services (20%):
- Manage donation management processes and support donor stewardship processes, including processing online donations through donation platforms and preparing donation acknowledgement letters for donors.
- Maintain data on Raisers’ Edge database and philanthropy dashboard, preparing management updates.
- Coordinate introductions for new philanthropy staff members at UWC schools.
- Oversee subscriptions to databases and respond to inquiries via email.
Person Specification
Experience and skills
- Financial Management and Reporting: Prior experience in financial management, budgeting, reporting, and monitoring, preferably in a nonprofit organisation or educational institution.
- Data Analysis: Experience in collecting, analysing, and presenting data for reporting purposes.
- Donor Reporting: Demonstrated experience in preparing narrative and financial reports for donors, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Accounting: experience with accounting software for financial management.
- Audit Support: Experience in supporting annual audits, including coordinating information gathering and documentation.

CRM Project - Workstream Lead

We are recruiting for a brand new role on a 12 month fixed term as a CRM Project Workstream Lead. This is full time (37.5 hours per week). What you will do as the CRM Project Lead?
· Ability to manage deadlines and project work
· The ability understand and interrogate new & existing CRM operational processes to ensure they are fit for purpose and future proof
· Ability to build working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
· Bring exceptional knowledge and experience of CRM Fundraising processes (ALMS. Net)
· Act as the key Fundraising Operations team resource to progress the CRM project through each key phase from Discovery to Go-live

Support Coordinator
We’re looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our Stroke Recovery Service based in Fylde Coast area. This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke.
Position: S11175 Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, Fylde Coast, however, regular travel will be required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week
Salary: Circa £16,043 per annum (FTE circa £26,700 per annum)
Contract: This is a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2025. Our services are contracted, we currently have funding for this contract until 31 March 2025.

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.
A key part of the role will be to recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers, to support service users and the delivery of the service.
The Stroke Association Support Coordinator will:
· Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

About the position
This is an exciting opportunity to create change at scale, informing and promoting a practical transition to plant-based diets, in order to reduce the number of animals suffering in factory farms. Part of our Farmed Animal Campaigns team, the role will work to increase the quality and availability of plant-based options with major caterers and universities in the UK, impacting hundreds of thousands of meals daily.
This role also includes an opportunity to support the delivery of a campaign to end the use of farrowing crates, one of the worst forms of cruelty to farmed animals in the UK today. In this role you will support the Senior Manager for Farmed Animal Campaigns to create public-facing campaign assets, and develop compelling research to underpin our policy and industry engagement.
