Battersea is undergoing a significant transformation programme (known as Launchpad) to deliver real change in the way we work with, utilise, and learn from data. Our new approach will enable smoother animal, customer and supporter journeys and will help us embed a truly data and insight-driven approach to decision-making at Battersea. The first phase of the programme is to implement Salesforce Lightning as the organisations single CRM application.
With the programme underway, in the preparation for the first go live, this exciting role has been created within the new Data Applications team to ensure that all the system users are expertly supported.
This role, working within the Data Applications Team will initially contribute to the Launchpad programme by supporting training and UAT activity. Once the programme has been completed, this role will then be responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance needs for the new Salesforce Lightning CRM and other related applications as they are launched.

The MEAM coalition has worked for fifteen years across more than 50 local areas in England, supporting local partnerships to tackle the structural and systemic issues that cause and sustain multiple disadvantage. We run the national MEAM Approach network, supported Fulfilling Lives from 2014-2022 and hold the current support contract for the Government and The National Lottery Community Fund’s Changing Futures programme. About the team
Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups and supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.
With a new contract from the Department for Education, we’re now entering a new phase of our service with a focus on:
- creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;
- sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and
- providing support and help to build a sustainable and welcoming community for all peer support groups across England.
This role will mobilise, develop and innovate our existing offer into a new Peer Support Hub with the focus on supporting sustainability and building resilience of peer support groups and their leaders. You will support and build our Kinship peer support community.

The Bike Project (TBP) is looking for a Fundraising Development Manager. This role will focus on gaining support from both corporate partners and major donors alongside line managing the Fundraising Executive.

About the Role:

The Events Manager is a crucial role at the College, as you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the College’s annual flagship conference. As Events Manager, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure this event is executed to an exemplary standard.
You will manage the Conference Committee and work closely with College Officers, Members and internal colleagues including the Creative Content and Marketing, Children and Young People and Corporate Services Teams to deliver our high-profile conference. Helping to ensure impactful campaigns are created to drive delegate registration and engagement, you will also be responsible for producing detailed project plans and RASCIs for the conference.
Reporting to the Head of Events, you will provide support with the tracking of event expenditure, managing supplier procurement processes and negotiating with suppliers to guarantee value for money. Taking the lead on all College relationships with internal and external service providers, you’ll also ensure that site visits and assessments are carried out where necessary, making certain that insurance, legal and Health & Safety obligations are adhered to.
In addition to the flagship conference, you will support the wider team in the delivery of other high profile engagement activities including international conferences, membership ceremonies, regional member events, dinners and a number of ad-hoc events according to College priorities. You will also deliver virtual events as required, taking the lead on researching virtual event solutions to ensure that the College meets shifting member needs.
Educated to a good standard, with demonstratable experience of delivering large scale (1,000+) educational or scientific conferences, you should have a background of working with external professional conference organisers along with experience of working in a membership or not-for-profit organisation.
Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders and suppliers are essential, as are outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
With a good understanding of project management methodology and how to apply it to events, you should have a sound knowledge and insight into the wider event industry, in order to keep up-to-date with trends, developments, innovation and legislation. Solution centric to enable innovation, you must be able to adapt to changing situations.
Line management experience and the ability to motivate and develop direct reports is essential, whilst an event management or project management qualification, along with experience of running events outside of the UK would be desirable.
The Membership, Policy and External Affairs Division actively promotes the membership, stakeholders and the public awareness of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and core child health priorities.
The RCPCH sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. Additionally, through a variety of activities, the College influences the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community.
The RCPCH has more than 22,000 members and fellows and employs around 200 staff, most of whom work in our London office in Holborn. We have smaller offices in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The RCPCH wants to represent all the communities we serve. Appointment will be made solely on merit. Base:Can be remote (home) working but expected to attend our Havant office regularly and attend residential camps, which, in 2024 and 2025 will be located at different venues throughout the UK.
Main Purpose:To lead on Volunteer recruitment, training and engagement and support the Camp Director in the delivery and leadership of safe, fun, residential activity camps and online programmes.

We are seeking an Assistant Camp Director to join our Camp Operations team. The postholder will be an essential member of our Camp Leadership Team when camps are in session and will focus on Volunteer recruitment, development and experience.
You are:

- An experienced youth programming professional with a background in recruitment, training and development.

- Able and eager to travel to and attend residential camps in a range of locations across the UK.
- Prepared to work flexibly across 7 days per week and undertake any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Camp Director and/or CEO that may be required in accordance with the overall purpose of the job.
You Have:
- A full driving license.
- A basic understanding of the principles of Therapeutic Recreation.
- Experience leading or coaching adults in a childcare setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience facilitating trainings and activities.
- Comfort and proficiency in Microsoft suite and an aptitude for learning new digital tools and systems.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend Over the Wall residential camps (minimum of 4 per year) and virtual camps as part of the operational staff team. Attending camp involves long working hours, including day / evening and weekends, as well as being away from home for up to 11 nights at a time.
- Develop and deliver informative and engaging ‘all camp’ training for volunteers and full-time staff members, underpinned by the principles of therapeutic recreation and challenge by choice.
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring of 300+ volunteers, annually.
- Supportively coach and manage our team of Volunteer Coordinators.
- Design and implement effective feedback mechanisms for volunteers, camp staff, campers and families and deliver effective debriefing sessions at the end of each camp.
- Assist in the direction and supervision of all camp programs which include, but are not limited to, family weekends, summer sessions and virtual camps.
- Work closely with the Operations Team to provide leadership and support for campers, volunteers, and staff.
- Promote and encourage a strong culture of safety within camp & assist in the coordination of emergency procedures.
- Support overall camp budget management with an emphasis on Volunteering.
- In the absence of the Camp Director, take on the leadership of camp.
- Abide by and comply with all OTW policies and procedures, especially relating to individual areas of responsibility.

- There will be an expectation to periodically meet for face-to-face meetings.
