As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of our individual giving programme of fundraising and activities, aimed at individuals. It will be the Individual Giving Manager’s responsibility to generate significant income through individual gifts, campaigns and appeals, regular giving, in memoriam giving, lottery and legacies, and to increase activity and income from these sources.

Your primary focus will be on recruiting new donors, retention through a gold standard supporter journey and income growth for these vital areas of fundraising, all while leading a dedicated team. You will be responsible for delivering innovative and creative appeals as well as supporting the fundraisers responsible for in-memory and donor acquisition to achieve their targets and objectives.

Individual Giving is a growing income stream for Birmingham Hospice, and this have been recognised by the Executive Team who are investing in this area, in particular regular giving and legacies.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits

This is a full-time role at 35 hours per week, but we're open to applications from those looking to work 28 hours or more per week.

The salary is £40k - £48k per annum (depending on relevant experience).

There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.

Summary

About the role

We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager to join our Regional Fundraising team.

This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver an excellent experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

South & West Yorkshire is an area filled with some of our most committed supporters but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Sheffield and Leeds hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

Candidates should live within South & West Yorkshire, in one of the following counties: Bradford, Doncaster, Halifax, Leeds, Sheffield, Oldham or Wakefield.

The Tank Museum’s innovative and award-winning marketing team is highly regarded in the arts and culture sector across the globe. 

The Membership & Fundraising Co-ordinator is a new role, the need for which has emerged from the museum’s continued growth.

The post holder with be tasked with formalising a fundraising function within the Museum: integrating and developing existing schemes whilst identifying and undertaking new projects to raise funds to support the charitable objectives of The Tank Museum.

Primarily the role will focus on “public fundraising” activity (rather than making applications to grant making bodies), using the Museums existing and sizeable international online audiences as a base for support.

Specifically, this will include:

• The management of The Tank Museums membership schemes (Friends, Patreon & YouTube Membership) – developing retention and recruitment strategies, measuring and reporting on satisfaction, and member communications/engagement.
• Seeking corporate sponsorship opportunities for The Tank Museum’s online activity & assist in the management of existing key strategic partnerships relationships.
• Manage fundraising projects (such as vehicle conservation/restoration projects), liaising with internal colleagues, ensuring targets are met, and our communities of supporters engaged and appreciated.
• Identify opportunities for small scale fundraising projects – for example, where capex can be supported by public donations.
• Running e-bay auctions, raffles, etc, in support of museum fundraising objectives.
• Establish administration required to support existing fundraising activity (such as a new CRM system) – and the potential for increased activity in the future.

Regional Fundraiser - England South

The successful candidate will live within this region and be able to travel across the region, including fire and rescuse services in: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight.

We are looking for an experienced Fundraiser to join our national team, who can inspire the varied communities across the South of England to unite support for their fire and rescue communities.

The Role
Building relationships with the fire and rescue services in your area, you’ll become an integral part of the local fire services community. You’ll join a nation-wide team of inspiring and innovative fundraisers, working collaboratively to secure the much-needed income for the Charity.

Helping to coordinate events, support fundraising initiatives and implement new ideas, you’ll support your people, stations, and offices to raise awareness of the Charity and achieve and exceed income targets, as well as working with local businesses and people to maximise our fundraising potential.

By generating the income we need to realise our ambitions, you will help us to be there for even more members of the fire and rescue community.

About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and innovative fundraiser to join our team, full of ideas and a positive attitude. You’ll need excellent business and project planning skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and adapt your communication style to your audience.

You’ll be responsible for maximising the potential fundraising income from every initiative you support, so you must be able to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and build strong networks.

You’ll also be able to support and inspire our volunteers, ensuring that these vital links between our Charity and the fire and rescue services are happy and fulfilled in their roles.

Reporting to the Regional Fundraising Manager, you’ll be an excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
