As Development Officer (Income Maximisation in Schools) you will play a lead role in looking at the actions needed at different levels to sustainably embed advice in schools across Scotland. You’ll be involving and engaging schools, advice services and other partners to develop practical recommendations which can be used to improve provision nationally. You will also be helping to develop resources and professional learning to increase awareness and confidence in schools around financial entitlements and pathways to income maximisation support.
You will be based within the Cost of the School Day team at CPAG in Scotland and will work closely with Welfare Rights, Digital and Policy colleagues.

Working closely with senior clinicians, including the Officer for Research and the Officer for Genomics, you will lead a portfolio of projects and initiatives designed to support paediatricians in developing academic skills, engaging in research and preparing for emerging developments in healthcare, including genomic medicine.
Reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will lead the delivery of a range of research initiatives focused on building research capability across the profession and manage the RCPCH Genomics Programme. About the role
The Events Coordinator sits within the Development team and reports into the Head of Philanthropy but works closely with senior leadership and colleagues across the organisation, notably, the Communications Team, the Creative Team, the Commercial Team and the Finance and Operations Teams as well as in-country teams.
This is a very hands-on role from the beginning. You will be leading all planning and execution for events, including fundraising events, exhibitions, though leadership, creative and commercial events, and community outreach events.
