This role will report to the Director of People & Culture, and work closely with the wider people team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director and People Team: plan schedules and team meetings, design and write documents, support with data gathering and analysis, and organize events like our global People & Culture conference.
- Project Work: Assist the team with research, analysis, preparation, communication and drafting official documents.
Your Profile

- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Experience in spreadsheets and databases to intermediate level

Supporter Engagement Officer
Location: Tyndale House, Cambridge (Hybrid working available for the right candidate)
Hours: Minimum 3 days/22.5 hours per week (flexible up to FT hours)
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience) & competitive benefits

Tyndale House is a renowned institute for biblical studies and possesses one of the finest libraries for biblical research in the world. It aims to grow an international research community, to present the value of the Bible at the highest academic level, to resource the Church to understand and trust the Bible, and to promote informed attitudes to the Bible.
The Supporter Engagement Officer will play a key role in engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Tyndale House through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. One of our ambitious plans for 2024 and beyond includes a capital campaign to rebuild our 1960s library into a state-of-the-art facility. We are looking for people to work with us to make this vision a reality.
The successful candidate will be integral to achieving our strategic priorities of generating income through repeat support, and providing exceptional journeys for our community of supporters, ensuring they feel valued and engaged. The role will provide strategic support to the Director of Engagement and work with the communications and development team to ensure that our outputs are cohesive and coherent.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally within the Charity sector. He/she will be a self-starter, highly motivated and with the ability to work well as part of a team.
There is an Occupational Requirement for the post-holder to be an active, practising, evangelical Christian in agreement with the doctrinal basis of Tyndale House and living in accord with our Ethos Statement (as permitted under schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010).

Job Purpose:
Assuming the role of Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive support to Executive Director, the executives of the orginisation and the Hope Together shop. The primary responsibilities of this position will include serving as an Executive PA to Executive Director, administrative assistance to Ops manager, managing customer correspondence, managing online shop orders, upkeep and analytics reporting, as well as other general project administration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Customer service (Phones, Office Email, and Admin email) ensuring prompt and accurate responses to inquiries, complaints, and requests for information.
- Funder and partner relational correspondence and maintenance.
- Provide general administrative support for the Hope office team including, but not limited to, record keeping, filing, meeting hosting, and monthly prayer emails.
- Organizing and managing weekly team prayer-parti
- Executive assistant work to Executive Director including, managing schedule, organising appointments and meetings, and arranging travel.
- Team, partner, and board meeting management, including keeping minutes, arranging meetings, and actions point.
- Office management assistance including supply ordering and credit card expense tracking.
- Ownership of online shop management including preparing regular reports, inventory management, order processing, and ensuring timely and accurate product listings.
- Gathering monthly websites and social media analytics.
- Undertaking any other duties necessary to support the smooth operation of the executives' and the overall success of Hope within the scope of the Employee's abilities and qualifications.
Skills, knowledge and experience:

Office Administrator - Donor Communications and Volunteer Liaison
Friends of the Holy Land are looking for an energetic, dedicated individual to join our fast-moving, growing charity.
Friends of the Holy Land has a small network of volunteer supporters around the country and an expanding number of financial donors. This new role will be responsible for communicating with these two communities, with a focus on preparing monthly emails to supporters, monitoring and moderating social media accounts, liaising with external partners to deliver external communications, developing donor stewardship and growing our volunteer network.
The role will also be required to help with regular office duties and will need to be familiar with all aspects of administrative support for the operational success of the charity. You will need to be comfortable working in a faith-based organisation, talking to supporters across the UK and with our partners in the Holy Land, and be competent in creating communications.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Office experience
- Must have strong computer skills using Microsoft office (ideally Office 365). CRM training will be provided as necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication and inter-personal skills
- Ability to proof-read with attention to detail
- Ability to write and design short communications, e.g. emails, posters (ideally)
- Pro-active with the ability to multi-task and work independently and with changing priorities
- Confident phone manner and a friendly demeanor - be a 'people person'
- Be comfortable working in a faith-based environment
- As part of a small team, a problem-solving, can-do attitude is necessary along with an unflappable demeanor
- Experience of CRM systems helpful but not essential
- Experience managing Social media accounts desirable
This is a full time post and will be office based in an easy location with parking.
