About Tiphereth
Tiphereth is a Camphill community in Edinburgh providing residential care and day services for adults with learning disabilities and autism. We are part of the wider Camphill movement, which emphasises intentional community living, meaningful work and shared life between people with and without support needs.
Our community brings together over 200 people with our members, staff, vocational co-worker and volunteers across residential homes, supported living services and vibrant day services. We operate craft workshops, horticulture programmes, a pop-up shop and participate in local markets. Our work is underpinned by anthroposophical principles and a deep commitment to human dignity, inclusion and the belief that everyone has a meaningful contribution to make.

This new Director-level role is central to that ambition, leading our efforts to diversify income, build lasting supporter relationships and tell the story of our community to the wider world.
Role’s Primary Objective
The Fundraising (and associated marketing development) Manager is a senior leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting alongside other senior managers on the Senior Management Team. This is a newly created role with significant scope to shape Tiphereth's external engagement and income generation strategy.
In Year One, you will be hands-on across the full breadth of fundraising and marketing activity, building the infrastructure, strategy and relationships needed for long-term success. From Year Two onwards, you will have the opportunity to recruit and develop a small team covering marketing and communications, community fundraising, and grant and trust applications.
This role requires someone who can operate strategically whilst also delivering at pace. You will need to be equally comfortable presenting to the Board as you are drafting a grant application or stewarding a major donor. Above all, you will need to connect authentically with our ethos and be able to communicate the distinctive value of Camphill community life to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategy aligned with Tiphereth's Five-Year Plan and organisational values
• Work towards strategic income targets including a minimum £250,000 in major donor engagement over five years and increasing non-government income to 10% of total revenue
• Identify, develop and secure new fundraising opportunities to maximise income potential and expand Tiphereth's supporter base
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board on fundraising trends, opportunities and risks
• Build business cases for capital projects and new initiatives requiring external funding
2. Major Gifts and Philanthropy
• Identify, cultivate and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and family foundations with capacity to make transformative gifts
• Develop compelling cases for support and funding proposals for capital projects and programme development
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with donors, ensuring exceptional stewardship and regular impact reporting
• Support the CEO and trustees in their donor engagement activities, preparing briefings and facilitating introductions
• Maximise tax-efficient giving through Gift Aid and other mechanisms
3. Grants and Trusts
• Research and develop a pipeline of grant-making trusts and foundations aligned with Tiphereth's work
• Write and submit high-quality funding applications, working collaboratively with service managers to develop project proposals
• Maintain accurate records of applications, outcomes and reporting requirements
• Build relationships with programme officers and foundation staff to strengthen future applications
4. Marketing and Communications
• Lead the development and implementation of Tiphereth's marketing and communications strategy
• Oversee brand management, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across all channels, including timely responses to donors and interested parties
• Develop engaging content including the Annual Impact Report, newsletters, social media and website
• Champion digital fundraising initiatives and enhance supporter journeys to improve engagement and retention
• Raise Tiphereth's profile through media engagement, events and participation in sector networks
5. Community Fundraising and Events
• Develop and grow community fundraising income including individual giving, regular giving and legacy programmes
• Plan and deliver fundraising events and supporter engagement activities that reflect Tiphereth's values
• Support and coordinate third-party fundraising by community supporters
• Explore corporate partnership opportunities aligned with our ethos
6. Team Development and Management
• Build the case for and recruit specialist roles in marketing, community fundraising and grant-writing as capacity grows (from Year Two)
• Lead, manage and develop team members, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture
• Manage budgets for fundraising and marketing activities, monitoring performance and return on investment
• Provide clear reporting on fundraising performance to the CEO and subsequently to the Board

About you

You’ll have advanced knowledge of law and legacy administration. You will have experience in managing complex casework across Wills, probate, trusts, tax, estate management, and multi-jurisdictional processes.
You’ll be outstanding stakeholder manager, able to manage sensitive or contentious cases with empathy, engaging compassionately with families, executors, and stakeholders while protecting our reputation.
You will have:
- Demonstrated strategic thinking with a track record of delivering results, driving innovation, and optimising legacy income.

Working arrangements
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering family leave.
Whilst this role is advertised as full time (35 hours per week), we are also very open to considering the role on a part time basis of either 28 or 32 hours if preferred.

Borde Hill Garden is seeking to appoint a Heritage Project Manager to support the Delivery Phase of its National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) funded ‘Reinventing Borde Hill’ project. The successful candidate will lead this exciting project, reporting to the Project Board and working with the Project Director to ensure that this phase of the project is fully delivered to time and on budget. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working on heritage projects, and will act as the key point of contact for the NLHF ensuring adherence to all NLHF frameworks and requirements, and ensuring that all documentation is managed accordingly. The role will involve working closely with the internal project team, wider garden staff and volunteers (including leading on the recruitment of volunteers), as well as the externally appointed Design Team, Cost Consultant, Evaluation Consultants, and other consultants. The Heritage Project Manager will coordinate the internal project team.
The successful candidate will maintain a close overview of the activity plan, the risk register, and the budget, as well acting as a point of contact, organising, attending and participating in project and stakeholder meetings; and compiling the information required for the project until the planned ‘soft opening’ in Spring 2028.

Tasks and responsibilities
· Become fully acquainted with all previous project documentation relating to the NLHF bid and acquire a good knowledge of the detailed objectives of the project
· Act as a key point of contact for NLHF ensuring that all necessary NLHF financial requirements and conditions are processed and/or met, including compiling grant drawdowns, reporting and assisting with the development of the project within the agreed programme
· Support the procurement of the construction contractors, and lead on procurement of other contractors, including preparation of briefs, enquiries, advertisements, evaluation and associated paperwork ensuring that their work is procured on time and within budget
· Oversee the work of the Design Team and other consultants ensuring that their deliverables are on time and coordinated with the other aspects of the project
· Liaise with an external construction project manager to ensure that a strong alignment is maintained between the capital build and the other elements of the project (e.g. activity plan, fundraising, evaluation etc.)
· Coordinate monthly progress reports from key workstream leads (internal and external), and compile these into a monthly Project Status Report
· Oversee the project budget, maintain the tracker and cashflow spreadsheet, and work with the Finance team to process invoices for payment
· Arrange project meetings, including co-ordinating diaries, sending meeting invites, monitor responses, and produce and circulate agendas and papers.
· Attend and where appropriate chair meetings, take and distribute minutes, and monitor actions as appropriate
· Work with the Marketing team to contribute to social media and website copy about the project
· Work with the Community Engagement Officer, supporting them to build and maintain relationships with current and prospective community partners, deliver the Activity Plan at the Community Growing Garden, and co-ordinate project-focused events such as Community Open Days
· Work with the Fundraising Manager, supporting them to create applications and approaches to potential funders (including trusts and foundations, individual donors, corporate donors, legacies etc.), and support with donor stewardship and relationship management post-gift, including reporting to other funders and supporting with donor events
· Support the work of the Evaluation Consultants, including internal and external evaluation of engagement initiatives
Skills and experience
To be considered for this position, you should be able to demonstrate some or all of the following:
· Good project management experience, with experience of medium-sized NLHF projects
· Experience of working on capital projects and working with contractors to deliver project builds
· Experience of working in the heritage environment, especially with listed and/or designated landscapes
· A good knowledge of budget management, monitoring and reporting
· Experience and understanding of community engagement, evaluation and partnership working
· Experience of working with architects, landscape architects, construction contractors, and consultants
· Experience of managing and working with multidisciplinary stakeholders and teams
· Experience and understanding of community engagement, evaluation and partnership working
· Experience of contributing to and supporting fundraising applications and approaches, especially for capital campaigns
· Excellent planning skills and a flexible approach to work, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, including tasks undertaken by others, whilst ensuring deadlines are met

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team on a fixed-term 14 month contract (maternity cover).
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the management and delivery of our challenge events, special events and community fundraising streams, but the post-holder would also be expected to regularly support activities across our corporate partnerships, individual giving and Family Fundraising streams of fundraising too.

Event Management

Supporter Engagement
- To effectively steward fundraisers to ensure an excellent supporter experience (resulting in year-on-year participation), including appropriate thanking and recognition, reporting and feedback on outcomes of events.

Essential Experience and Skills
- A minimum of three years proven experience in a fundraising role, preferably in a challenge, community or special events fundraising role.

- Experience in writing and developing stewardship plans and in creating engaging fundraising collateral to support donors and supporters of all levels.

About Us
Home-Start Elmbridge is a local, independent charity supporting families with predominantly at least one child under the age of five, and a specialised service for families of primary school children. Through our team of trained volunteers and staff, we offer emotional and practical support to help parents build confidence, strengthen family relationships, and give their young children the best possible start in life.
About the role
As Fundraising & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering our Fundraising strategies, to secure appropriate funding to ensure the sustainable delivery of high-quality services by Home-Start Elmbridge.
- Leading on submitting grant applications, tenders and bids for existing and new services and develop new partnerships to support delivery.
- Ensuring the successful delivery of the Fundraising plan through the coordination of fundraising activities (including events, campaigns, and sponsorships) and managing donor relationships.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in a Fundraising & Marketing management or leadership role, ideally in the voluntary or community sector
- Strong people management skills, including supporting staff and volunteers
- Experience of fundraising, grant applications or income generation
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and working with vulnerable families
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
- Strong organisational and financial oversight skills
- Ability to work flexibly including some hours outside of normal business hours
- A commitment to the values and ethos of Home-Start
- A clean driver’s licence and access to a car

Senior Early Diagnosis Programme Manager
The Senior Early Diagnosis Programme Manager is a key role as we develop and evolve our early diagnosis programmes at Bowel Cancer UK. The role will provide strategic and operational leadership across the charity’s awareness and engagement programmes and the new Bowel Towns programme. This role will manage a multi-disciplinary team delivering programmes that improve cancer awareness, empower communities, and drive earlier diagnosis.
In addition, as the charity’s services lead for Northern Ireland (NI), the post holder will build high-impact partnerships and develop a regional plan to enhance awareness, early detection, and support for people affected by cancer. You’ll work closely with the Head of Services and Support to ensure our early diagnosis services are impactful, inclusive, and evidence-based.

As an Assistant Community Shop Manager (ACSM) for St Giles Hospice you will take lead when the Community Shop Manager is away, ensuring smooth operations and delivering excellent customer service. You’ll be empowered to make decisions locally whilst working within a supportive framework, working within and for your local community ensuring that engagement and support is understood and promoted.
You’ll have excellent leadership skills and want to be part of a successful team. Ideally, you’ll have previous fashion retail experience with the ability to manage and lead the store in the absence of the Community Shop Manager (CSM).
Reporting into the CSM and working closely with the Retail Regional Manager you will aid in supporting your store to run efficiently and deliver a positive financial contribution to the Hospice.
The estate includes 26 shops and e-commerce operation with a turnover of approx. £3.5million which supports the overall income generation strategy.

More about the role
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Solutions and working closely with colleagues and strategic partners, you will be instrumental in improving the accessibility, availability, performance and security of our CRM products. You will take ownership of project objectives agreed by the Project Steering Group and provide clear vision, leadership and direction to the project team throughout the programme lifecycle. This will include planning, monitoring and evaluating work, taking responsibility for performance and ensuring that any required improvements are identified and delivered.
You will ensure projects are effectively controlled through strong project planning, scope management, resourcing and financial oversight. A key part of the role will involve producing timely, accurate reporting and escalating progress, risks and issues to senior stakeholders within the project governance structure. Wood Street Mission is a children’s charity helping children and families impacted by poverty in Manchester and Salford.
We provide practical help to help meet children’s day-to-day needs and improve their life chances. We give clothes, bedding and baby equipment to struggling families, along with toys and books which are important for children’s wellbeing and development.
We support engagement in education by helping families with the costs of school uniform and run Book Roadshow events in schools to promote reading and improve children’s literacy. We work to raise awareness about child poverty and help thousands of children and their families every year.
We are looking to recruit a Grants and Trusts Fundraiser to join our growing team, as we take Wood Street Mission to the next level. You will be responsible for managing and delivering our Grants and Trusts income stream, developing long-term relationships with funders, and building on our small but successful track record. The Grants and Trusts Fundraiser is a pivotal role in helping us to accelerate our growth even further so we can help more children to thrive free from poverty.
The role is flexible between the office in Manchester and working from home.
Purpose of post
As the Grants and Trusts Fundraiser, you will be responsible for securing grants of varying sizes, translating the charity’s work across our five projects into compelling, high-quality applications for a range of audiences. Working collaboratively with the wider charity team, you will have a hands-on role in understanding our projects to ensure you can authentically convey our mission and our impact to funders.
You will provide excellent care to existing and new supporters, ensuring reporting requirements are met and that funders are kept informed of how their support has enabled the charity to continue its work.
A key responsibility will be to contribute to and develop the Grants and Trusts fundraising plan. You will work to identify, secure and develop a robust pipeline of grant funders to maximise income and enable continued growth and sustainability of Wood Street Mission’s work.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. To contribute to and develop the Grants and Trusts fundraising plan as agreed with the Fundraising Lead, to support the charity’s strategy
2. Meet agreed key performance indicators and to monitor and report on these targets
3. To keep up to date with funding policies and grant giving organisation news to inform the fundraising plan
4. To work closely with the Fundraising Lead and other members of the team to ensure a coordinated approach and excellent level of care for supporters, through appropriate and engaging communication methods
5. To research and develop new funders to support the achievement of fundraising targets
6. Frequently report on progress of Grants and Trusts fundraising to the Fundraising Lead
7. Work with the wider charity team to build a bank of individual stories and information for each of the five projects, to develop a Case for Support which can be adapted to different audiences
8. To work with the Fundraising Lead and the charity team to carry out a Full Cost Recovery exercise across all five projects, to provide a clear overview of the charity’s income and expenditure budget
9. Write comprehensive and persuasive applications to funders and prepare tailored presentations for a range of supporters
10. Build, nurture and account manage relationships with grant giving organisations, providing impact assessments, case studies and progress reports as required
11. Implement an effective stewardship process to maximise income and encourage long-term support, so funders feel appreciated and understand how their support has made an impact
12. Ensure grants are acknowledged promptly and reporting requirements are met within agreed timescales
13. To work alongside colleagues within the charity to identify potential grant funding opportunities and potential cross team working opportunities to ensure the charity maximises income across all income streams
14. Maintain up-to-date and accurate funder and volunteer records on the Beacon database, and to input data, donations and consent preferences, ensuring all data processing is GDPR compliant
15. To provide general administrative support to the Fundraising team
16. To represent Wood Street Mission as required at special events, and to proactively seek out new funding prospects and networking opportunities
17. To act as an ambassador for Wood Street Mission and promote the charity
18. To champion the Fundraising Regulator Code of Fundraising Practice, upholding a high standard of fundraising that is legal, open, honest and respectful
