Summary
The National Trust, a leading charity in the UK and Europe's largest conservation body, was established in 1895. It oversees more than 780 miles of coastline, over 250,000 hectares of land, and over 500 historic houses, castles, ancient monuments, gardens, parks, and nature reserves, all preserved "forever for everyone". The Treasury and Investments team at the Trust plays a crucial and wide-ranging role. Managing the Trust's investment portfolio of approximately £1.5 billion, the team aligns the portfolio with the Trust's environmental goals without compromising returns.
