This is a pivotal moment for the Key Relationships function as a newly formalised Events & Operations hub is established, with donor-facing events and the operational systems and processes that underpin high-value fundraising being brought together into a cohesive function. We are looking for an exceptional Events & Operations Manager to lead this new hub, manage a team of two staff, and shape how events and operational infrastructure work together to support Major Donor, Trusts & Foundations, Legacy and Key Influencer programmes.
This role will suit a self-starter who is comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and who takes genuine satisfaction in shaping a new role around the needs of the team. The postholder will be confident operating in ambiguity, able to take the lead in defining processes, and proactive in establishing clear, effective ways of working.
As Events & Operations Manager, you will:
- Lead the newly established Events & Operations hub within the Key Relationships team, managing and developing a team of two staff while actively delivering across both functions
- Plan, design and deliver high-quality donor-facing events, taking full ownership from briefing and creative concept through to meticulous execution and evaluation
- Deliver capital campaign ask events, donor networking events and supporter access moments for the key relationships team
- Work closely Team Heads to ensure events meet their objectives and are delivered to a high standard
- Work with Executive Directors to ensure they are well briefed when speaking at or attending events
- Lead on systems, infrastructure and compliance including CRM oversight, data integrity, GDPR, income reconciliation, forecasting, reporting and dashboarding in partnership with Finance and Data teams
- Oversee prospect research, pipeline management and performance tracking to ensure the operational backbone is in place for the Key Relationships team to be effective and drive income growth
- This is a hands-on leadership role that will actively deliver across events and operations while leading and developing others
Ideal skills and experience:
- Significant experience planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality donor or stakeholder events across in-person, hybrid and digital formats, with clear evidence of aligning events to cultivation and stewardship objectives
- Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, meet deadlines, maintain high standards of detail and manage budgets effectively
- Demonstrable experience working in an operations or support role, with responsibility for coordinating systems, processes and infrastructure that underpin fundraising or relationship management activity
- Proven ability to design, improve and embed efficient, compliant systems and processes, including gift administration, data integrity, income reconciliation and structured pipeline management
- Strong experience using CRM databases or similar platforms, maintaining accurate data, overseeing data quality and confidently learning new systems and reporting tools
- Experience of leading and supporting others within a small team, contributing to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing culture while remaining comfortable with hands-on delivery

About the role:
At the heart of Camden’s response to street homelessness, the Rough Sleeping Outreach & Hub Service works across streets, transport hubs and a central support hub to ensure that no one is left facing rough sleeping alone. This is an integrated, borough-wide service focused on early engagement, reducing harm and supporting people to move away from the streets towards safety, accommodation and longer-term stability.
As an Outreach Worker, you’ll be a consistent and trusted presence for people sleeping rough or at risk of rough sleeping. Working flexibly across street outreach and hub-based support on a rota basis, you’ll build meaningful relationships, carry out trauma-aware assessments and coordinate practical support that helps people take their next steps.
You’ll work within a 'No Wrong Door' approach, supporting people wherever and however they engage. That might mean meeting someone early in the morning on outreach, supporting them to access the hub later that day, or working alongside partners to remove barriers that have kept them excluded in the past.
This is a role with variety, challenge and real impact. You’ll respond to complex situations, manage risk thoughtfully, and support people through moments of crisis and change. The work can be unpredictable and includes early, late and weekend shifts as part of a 7-day rota – but you won’t be doing it alone. As a Senior Coach you will be working on the frontline delivering high quality one-to-one support to a caseload of young people across London. You will support young people to recognise and capitalise on their strengths by taking a coaching approach. More about the role
Veterinary Surgeons at Blue Cross are exposed to a wide variety of medical, surgical and emergency cases, enabling rapid development of skills and confidence in general practice.
This is a full time, fixed term contract for six months. The shift pattern is mostly Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, allowing for an excellent work-life pattern. You will be a part of the evening and weekend rota, which is shared between vets based across Victoria, Merton and Hammersmith resulting in about 2 evening shifts a month and 1 weekend day shift (compensated by time in lieu) every 6 weeks. You will be based primarily at our Victoria hospital, however some flexibility in supporting pets at our other sites is needed.
About the hospital
The Blue Cross Victoria hospital has been in operation since its opening in 1906, remaining steadfast in its commitment to helping pets and their owners in need.
Equipped with state-of-the-art veterinary facilities, you will be joining a hospital that spans six floors with six consultation rooms, two theatres, four minor procedure rooms and a laboratory. We are also lucky to have an ambulance service dedicated to transporting animals to and from the hospital.
Victoria is a 24-hour hospital with a dedicated night team, allowing for much desired case continuity. You will take an active part in our team development days, where once a month we provide emergency services only, allowing time for in-house cadaver training, case discussions and team meetings.

THE CHARITY
Suicide is the leading cause of death of men under 35 and three quarters of those who die by suicide are men. James’ Place exists to save the lives of men in suicidal crisis through delivering clinical services. We are a charity currently offering free, life-saving therapy to suicidal men at our centres in Liverpool, London and Newcastle.
James’ Place was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression and had sought urgent help for anxiety and suicidal thoughts but didn’t find it.
James' Place was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. We offer men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected. We provide a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centres and in our outside spaces, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and families. We have so far treated over 4,300 men who might otherwise have been unable to access the support they desperately need.
In early 2026 we will be opening our fourth centre in Birmingham. Our new centre in Birmingham will be there to support suicidal men living in the West Midlands.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Communications and Content Executive to join our Communications team. This is a new role, reporting into the Senior Communications Manager. We are looking for a creative and proactive individual with experience in developing high quality social media content to take over the day to day running of our social media platforms. You will be creating content, maintain a content calendar, monitoring trends and replying to messages and comments from our active community, as well as analysing our data.
The role will also be involved in developing other communications content as needed. This will include writing articles and the newsletter, designing leaflets and flyers, assisting with creating and uploading content to the website, as well as gathering information to support our advocacy work. Good writing skills and a familiarity with some design skills, as well as ability to create videos are a must.
We are looking for a comms all-rounder; someone with lots of ideas, a can-do attitude and a solid grasp of the ever-changing social media landscape to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creating, scheduling, and publishing high-quality and engaging social media content across all key social media platforms
· Developing and maintaining a content calendar
· Engaging with audiences, monitoring and responding to comments and messages, and sharing posts on our social media channels
· Monitoring and evaluating social media performance, social media trends, attitudes and sentiment, adapting content to optimise reach and engagement.

· Responsibility for designing and delivering regular content for our community such as our newsletter, and executing specific campaigns as needed
