We are seeking a Specialist Women’s Navigator that will work as part of the Changing Futures delivery team to provide long term, personalised support and case coordination to women experiencing severe multiple disadvantage (complex interplay of mental health, substance use, homelessness, criminal justice system interaction, and domestic/sexual violence). The post will encourage engagement from those who typically do not engage with services, enabling them to better manage their lives through a multi-disciplinary, person-centred, and trauma-informed approach. The Specialist Navigator will deliver support in a way that considers the impact of societal attitudes towards sex/gender and stigma, and how this contributes to women’s experience of SMD and the barriers they face to accessing support to recover from abuse, the results of abuse, and to be in control of their lives, well-being, and choices.

The purpose of every role at POW Nottingham is to support sex workers on their journey, by empowering them to make positive lifestyle decisions, promoting and facilitating physical, sexual, psychological and social health amongst the sex worker community. The post will work holistically, through befriending and support to build confidence and raise self-esteem, hope and aspirations for the future through the development and delivery of services to sex workers.  

The main role responsibilities (further outlined in the job description) are:  

• Provide direct 1-1 holistic needs assessment and long term and personalised case support.

• Assisting individuals with all aspects of creating and implementing relevant personal development and support plans. 

• Ensuring regular and up to date risk assessments are carried out for all service users, including risk mitigation strategies and safety planning.

• Ensuring survivors of VAWG and DSVA understand the patterns of behaviour by perpetrators and the impact on themselves, their needs, and their safety.

• Taking a flexible and solution focused approach, that will sometimes require the Navigator to respond to an immediate need and work in challenging environments. 

• Versatile partnership working with various external agencies in order to effectively coordinate a service users’ network of support. 

• To identify safeguarding issues and reduce risk with a multi-agency approach. 

Experience of the sex work industry will be looked upon favourably.

We’re recruiting for a new Product Manager to support the 12 million people in the UK who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. We are on an exciting journey at RNID as we introduce and embed product & delivery approaches and you will have the drive to help us along that path.

You will play a critical role in the next phase of our website product, developing and owning the roadmap and delivering positive impact for all our audiences. This includes user experience, conversion rate optimisation, technical integrations to internal/external systems and usability & accessibility.

You’ll work with external agencies as well as our multi-disciplinary in-house team. You will ensure that our website and other relevant digital products deliver against our over-arching strategy.

You will work in a consultative and collaborative way, sharing your experience, expertise, and guidance to encourage effective decision making. Working closely with Marketing & Communications and other teams to ensure coherent user journeys and relevant product roadmaps are in place driving the desired outcomes. You will own the website product roadmap.

You’ll work with subject matter experts and specialists to understand our audiences, identify opportunities, develop, and test ideas and manage products throughout their lifecycle.

You have expert product management skills. As the product manager you will champion a product mindset, continuingly delivering improved outcomes for our communities.

Development Director

Main Purpose and Scope of the Role

The Development Director will be a key part of the Action4Youth Senior Management Team, contributing to strategic development of the whole organisation and taking responsibility for the leadership and management of all aspects of business development, sales, fundraising, marketing and communications.

The Development Director will ensure development to support the Strategic and Operational Plans in order to achieve growth, sustainability and stability and to support the Action4Youth core offer i.e.  programme delivery and outdoor education.

Because Action4Youth is a relatively small organisation, teams are small and this means that even senior members of the team like Directors may have to cover for a team member when on leave or generally help out as necessary to achieve targets. In this particular role, that could mean undertaking basic tasks like completing a funding bid to meet a deadline, updating a webpage, writing blog posts or handling sales calls. This job is unusual in genuinely being both strategic and hands on.

Networking is an important part of this role so the post holder will often be expected to attend out of hours events to represent Action4Youth and to develop valuable relationships and connections.

Events Manager

The Events Manager is a crucial role at the College, as you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the College’s annual flagship conference. As Events Manager, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure this event is executed to an exemplary standard.

You will manage the Conference Committee and work closely with College Officers, Members and internal colleagues including the Creative Content and Marketing, Children and Young People and Corporate Services Teams to deliver our high-profile conference. Helping to ensure impactful campaigns are created to drive delegate registration and engagement, you will also be responsible for producing detailed project plans and RASCIs for the conference.

Reporting to the Head of Events, you will provide support with the tracking of event expenditure, managing supplier procurement processes and negotiating with suppliers to guarantee value for money. Taking the lead on all College relationships with internal and external service providers, you’ll also ensure that site visits and assessments are carried out where necessary, making certain that insurance, legal and Health & Safety obligations are adhered to.

In addition to the flagship conference, you will support the wider team in the delivery of other high profile engagement activities including international conferences, membership ceremonies, regional member events, dinners and a number of ad-hoc events according to College priorities. Educated to a good standard, with demonstratable experience of delivering large scale (1,000+) educational or scientific conferences, you should have a background of working with external professional conference organisers along with experience of working in a membership or not-for-profit organisation.

Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders and suppliers are essential, as are outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.

With a good understanding of project management methodology and how to apply it to events, you should have a sound knowledge and insight into the wider event industry, in order to keep up-to-date with trends, developments, innovation and legislation. Solution centric to enable innovation, you must be able to adapt to changing situations.

Line management experience and the ability to motivate and develop direct reports is essential, whilst an event management or project management qualification, along with experience of running events outside of the UK would be desirable.

The Membership, Policy and External Affairs Division actively promotes the membership, stakeholders and the public awareness of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and core child health priorities. 

The RCPCH sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. Additionally, through a variety of activities, the College influences the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community.

The RCPCH has more than 22,000 members and fellows and employs around 200 staff, most of whom work in our London office in Holborn. We have smaller offices in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

We are looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser to create and grow income opportunities through events and community activities for the Neuromuscular Centre; a charity in Winsford that provides a range of unique, specialist services for people with neuromuscular conditions. The Centre is a warm, vibrant community that exists as the only one of its kind in the UK and Europe. You'll be joining a successful fundraising team that together raises £500,000 per year, and a charity that has been enhancing the quality of life for people affected by neuromuscular conditions for 34 years.

You’ll be maintaining NMC’s existing events calendar, as well as having the autonomy to develop the calendar further and put your own stamp on it. You’ll also be managing our community fundraising income, which includes individual giving, lottery, working with local groups and supporting individuals with their own fundraising activities. You will be developing and building relationships with new and existing supporters to maximise fundraising potential, as well as recruiting and managing volunteers from all walks of life.

We’re looking for someone with previous fundraising experience, with the ambition to take this to new levels. This is a really immersive role, working with the charity's supporters and donors, while at the same time being based where the charity operates. The Role
As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will spearhead the expansion of our Corporate and Community Giving portfolio. This role involves enhancing relationships with current donors, partnerships with new businesses, and playing a critical role in our Fundraising & Trading Department. You will be instrumental in managing income streams projected to raise £150,000 this year, with ambitions for future growth. Your role will also encompass being a prominent figure in the community, delivering fundraising talks, attending networking events and being an advocate for Bath Cats and Dogs Home.

About You
You are a dynamic individual with a successful track record in corporate fundraising, capable of securing significant income through corporate and community events. Your skills include:

• Exceptional leadership and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Strong marketing abilities, both online and offline, to achieve financial and recruitment targets.
• Excellent public engagement and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in IT and CRM databases, ideally with experience in Raisers Edge.

Our Maintenance Assistants provide integral support in ensuring our three Battersea sites remain operational. We currently have an opportunity for someone with experience in general maintenance to join us and deliver a programme of planned preventative maintenance tasks. This work will keep our buildings, site, and equipment in the best condition possible.

Tasks will include maintenance of:
- Drainage
- Guttering
- Door furnishings
- Kennel and pen management
- HVAC and plant

You will also be involved in supporting discreet projects such as office moves, space conversions and other site and paddock improvements.

We are looking for a proactive and passionate individual with a strong background in digital marketing and fundraising to help us bring rivers back to life.

Our rivers face more threats than ever. SERT’s Working with Communities Team educates and engages local communities and other stakeholders who have the power, influence (and money!) to help make our rivers thrive again.  This role will play a key part in making this happen by helping us reach more people from a wider range of audiences, and connecting them to the issues facing rivers, the solutions that will make a difference and by raising our profile in the expert delivery of them.

This new role within our Working with Communities Team will develop and implement a digital strategy to amplify and support SERT’s presence through increased brand profile, supporter acquisition and engagement and donated revenue. This will involve creating and managing online marketing and fundraising campaigns for the Trust across our digital platforms that grow support for our mission, generate income, reach new audiences and promote the value of the South East’s rivers.

The role will refine the Trust’s existing supporter journey to increase donor revenue making use of its established channels (organic social media, newsletter, website) as well as researching and implementing new channels such as paid advertising, SEO, online campaigns (including crowdfunding) and new social platforms.

You will also find creative and compelling ways to talk about our work, share case studies and successes and make our website the go-to resource for expert and inspiring information about rivers and how to help them.

The ideal candidate would have a background in marcoms and fundraising for non-profits, be a compelling storyteller, and be highly confident and competent in digital communications.
