We are currently recruiting a Marketing Communications Assistant to join our team based in Wallington, Surrey. This is a full time, maternity cover basis, - up to 12 months (minimum 3 days a week in the office core days are Monday & Wednesday third day depending on rota basis).In return you will receive a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum.

About the role: 

Crimestoppers is looking for a talented Marketing Communications Assistant to work with our Marketing Communications Manager to deliver online and offline, internal and external marketing communications activity in order to increase brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.

You will support the delivery of internal, volunteering, regional and business growth and fundraising communications plans, internal communications activity, and managing multi-channel campaigns, including the website, e-mail, e-shots, and digital channels in-order-to achieve campaign objectives.

Key responsibilities of our Marketing Communications Assistant:

• Working closely with the Marketing Communication Manager/and wider marcomms team to deliver online and offline marketing communications activity to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation

What we're looking for in our Marketing Communications Assistant:

• Graduate or relevant experience in Journalism/marketing or communications

• Strong writer who can adapt tone of voice for different audiences

Purpose of role

To manage the annual programme of the PPA psychoanalytic psychotherapy qualifying training and the Advanced Clinical Course. To promote and grow the trainings. To manage the budget and collect and report on performance management data. To track all trainees’ progress, to ensure the smooth running of all elements of the teaching provision and to liaise and work in collaboration with the PPA training committee (TC), curriculum committee (CC), selection committee (SC) and post graduate committee (PGC).

Accountable to

The post will be line managed by the office manager will be accountable to and work in close collaboration with the committees of the PPA.

Key responsibilities

1) To oversee and manage the delivery of the annual programme of the PPA trainings in collaboration with the TC and PGC.

a) Booking clinical, theory and group seminar leaders in collaboration with TC and PGC.

b) In liaison with the Director of Marketing, Communications and Engagement place adverts for supervisors, teachers, and group leaders as appropriate.

c) Ensure that trainees and TC have an up-to-date list of Training Analysts, Training Supervisors and Approved Therapists

f) Collaboration with the library to track reading list production.

d) Ensure consistent messaging about PPA trainings across internal and external communications.

e) To have oversight of the cycle of reaccreditation with the BPC.

5) To ensure effective administrative and financial management of PPA trainings.

a) To take lead on ensuring all communication with trainees is up to date including collection of fees, sending out handbooks, curriculums, all training materials, and dates.

b) To work with the Director of Corporate Services to oversee and maintain budgetary control of both trainings.

c) To work with the Director of Corporate Services to provide management reporting data.

d) To collect and report on data collection of protected characteristics.

e) To provide budget updates to the training committee.

f) To recommend and implement improvements to PPA training admin systems and processes.

g) To manage all payments from trainees and to teaching staff.

6) To work with all PPA committees to maintain the functioning and growth of the PPA association.

a) To attend TC meetings, PGC meetings, bpf Heads of Trainings meetings and any other meetings to ensure the smooth running of the committees and clear communication between committee members.

b) Organise and oversee the termly PPA reading group and other social events in collaboration with the Events Officer.

As Senior Marketing Business Partner your role will be to support the development, delivery and optimisation of the paid marketing strategy across a variety of campaigns at a leading Children’s Charity in the UK. The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working from their London office 2 days per week.

You will work closely with the Marketing team to deliver impactful, data-led, accessible digital content to support our organisational objectives - raising awareness of Tommy’s as the UK’s leading pregnancy research charity and growing our supporter base. You will also offer editorial support to colleagues across other owned channels and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Website content management:

• Improve existing website content, from refreshes to restructures, with accessibility and UX front of mind
• Work closely with our SEO agency, Mindshare, to optimise content, identify new opportunities and improve site performance
• Build high-impact campaign pages and reports using our external publishing platform, Shorthand
• Lead on the onboarding of our digital asset management (DAM) system, reviewing and growing our library of stock imagery and owned multimedia assets.
• Supporting colleagues across Tommy’s to improve their digital content and CMS skills.

Content Strategy and accessibility:

• Assist in the roll out and integration of the content strategy across online web content. 
• Identify and develop new content to drive traffic and engagement – using analytics to assess impact and identify new opportunities – working closely with colleagues in the Content Hub and Digital Product Team.
• Identify ways of improving accessibility within our digital content, updating existing organisational guidelines where appropriate.

Editorial:

• Provide copywriting and editorial support for campaigns and wider marketing projects.
• Be a brand champion for Tommy’s organisational activity, identity and tone of voice.

Person Specification:
 

• Confident using a CMS (preferably Drupal) for both day-to-day activities and site improvement work.
• Experience with website migration and/or restructure.
• Writing copy and creating content for high profile, impactful campaigns.
• Experience working with style guides and ability to quickly pick up brand tone of voice.
• Excellent copywriting and editorial skills, with a solid understanding of writing for digital platforms/content design principles.
• Good understanding of SEO and analytics (GA4) and how to use these skills to improve content performance.
• Strong working knowledge of what makes digital content accessible and how to identify areas of improvement.

Job Description – Operations Manager
IcFEM Dreamland Mission is a Christian charity set up to help fund and support the work of IcFEM in
Kenya. We had been running for almost 20 years with volunteers
running a home-based UK office. Three years ago we employed staff in the UK for the first time. We
currently have income of £350k- £400k a year depending on the projects running. IcFEM Kenya is a
locally run organisation based at Kimilili in Western Kenya. IcFEM Kenya runs community projects as
well as a school and hospital. The past five years has seen our work grow significantly, including the
school and hospital which have developed into large institutions that are valued by the community
in Kimilili and fit well into the local government set up.
We are looking for an individual who is ambitious to see our ministry grow and is experienced at
blending trust in God with human endeavour.
We are seeking an Operations Manager who has experience of the charity sector and is prepared to
be flexible and adaptable to the needs of this small charity. There is the potential for flexibility within
this role and we would be willing to discuss a variation in hours worked. Some occasional evening or
weekend work will be needed, and occasional travel to Kenya is an important part of the role,
particularly to build relationships with the Kenyan team.

Job description

Governance and legal compliance
➢ Review and keep updated UK policy and procedure documentation, writing new policies
where necessary to encompass latest regulations
➢ Regularly review the Safeguarding policy, and risk assessment, with the Trustee who leads
on safeguarding
➢ Work with the Treasurer and Secretary to ensure compliance and deadlines for Charity
Commission
➢ Review “new volunteer” and “new staff member” packs to ensure they meet the legal
requirement of the Charity Commission and all data protection policies

Finance and administration
➢ Manage the charity income and donations, including processing of cheques, bank transfers

reports and stories from Kenya
➢ Present own ideas for projects and start to take ownership of new projects

➢ Represent the charity externally and strengthen partnerships with all relevant stakeholders
➢ Manage the UK end of Community based projects (e.g. Tree Growing and Bee’s & Honey)
