Programme Delivery

· Supervise and maintain an efficient and effective bookings system, generating statistics and a dedicated learning database.
· Gather and monitor visitor data and case studies.
Curriculum Development
· Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and refine curriculum materials that are engaging, informative, and align with the organisation's educational goals.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure program content remains relevant and up-to-date.
Internal and External Relationships
· Collaborate with RBL Remembrance team.
· Work closely with marketing and communication team to input into developing strategies to promote learning and participation programmes and events to the target audiences.
· Develop and build external relationships with schools , colleges and universities.
Feedback and Evaluation
· Implement assessment tools, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to gather participant input and measure program effectiveness.
· With the Head of Learning and Participation review and assess collected data to make informed decisions about programme improvements and adjustments
· Any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title of the post and its grading as requested by the Head of Learning and Participation.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser or a candidate with transferrable skills who is looking for their next challenge.
This fundraising role is varied and fun and may suit someone who has worked in fundraising for a few years and understands the diverse range of responsibilities that come with the role. You should be able to work well in a small team and be prepared to adapt cheerfully to changes and challenges that may crop up daily.
Your main area of responsibility will be for generating income by writing proposals to Trust and Foundations, working with service managers across the country to research and build compelling cases for support across the organisation.
We are looking for someone who can secure multi-year grants and core funding support through creating high value applications and also have the skills to research and fire off multiple applications to smaller trusts for small projects on a daily basis.
Experience in meeting fundraising targets would be useful but not essential. An important aspect of the role will be maintaining up to date reporting systems of approaches and successes and fulfilling grant obligations to funders.
As part of a small fundraising team and you will also work with your colleagues to further develop the Walk for Autism fundraising campaign and be instrumental in developing a high quality supporter journey using email, texts and social media. Developing digital fundraising is one of our main strategies so a willingness to learn new skills in this area is a key part of the role.
You will be required to work outside of office hours occasionally with some travel to services around the UK. It would be helpful to have a driving licence but it’s not essential. Responsibilities:
HR & Operations
● Manage Coney’s operations, resources and materials to ensure our activities and processes are high-quality, fit for purpose and well-managed.
● Support the Directors to engender positive staff relations and good communication throughout the company, those representing it and its networks.
● Oversee Coney’s remote-working and office systems, including IT systems, schedules and other resources, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and cost-effective.
● Manage Coney’s statutory obligations with Companies House, the Charities Commission and other bodies and regulatory authorities, with support from the Directors.
● Maintain regular communication with Coney’s Trustees, ensuring that Board meetings, minutes, reports and information are prepared effectively and on time.
Financial
● Manage Coney’s day-to-day financial systems, including making bank payments and managing invoices receivable, supported by the Marketing & Admin Officer.
● Reconcile Coney’s bank accounts and input all financial activity into Quickbooks (including income & expenditure, credit cards, expenses, invoices payable, payments received) against the correct budget lines.
● Run payroll (including sending payslips and other pay documents, scheduling salary payments and reporting to HMRC) and ensure pensions, PAYE taxes and National Insurance are calculated and paid on time.
● Create and submit quarterly VAT returns using Quickbooks
Stakeholder Management & Fundraising
● Work alongside the JCEOs to maintain high level contact and dialogue with Coney’s key stakeholders.
● Manage Coney’s Friends scheme and support effective communication with funders.
● Alongside the rest of the core team, identify opportunities for fundraising, commercial projects and consultancy, building relationships and contributing to funding proposals as required.
Marketing & Communications
● Support the Marketing & Admin Officer and Executive Programme Director / JCEO to prepare and execute a marketing and communications plan – strategically positioning Coney’s work across communities and sectors.
● Support the Marketing & Admin Officer to ensure regular communication with Coney networks (newsletters, social media and other relationships) and produce effective communication and ticketing systems for events and projects as required.

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic charity to recruit for a Community Fundraising Officer based in Manchester in order to support the delivery of the charity’s community fundraising programme, as part of the wider mass participation and events team. This includes stewardship, retention, recruitment, new product development, and marketing.
As a Community Fundraising Officer you will:
- Be one of the primary contacts for the charity’s community fundraising supporters, and will focus on building strong relationships with supporters, delivering engaging stewardship, developing supporter retention and recruitment,
- Manage administrative processes, as well as supporting the Community Fundraising Manager with the delivery of the community fundraising strategy.
- Develop new and existing fundraising products
- Support the wider mass participation & events team to achieve targets.
In order to be successful, you must have experienced :
- Experience of developing supporter or customer care relationships
- Excellent relationship skills - to work well with colleagues, supporters and suppliers
- Excellent copywriting skills- to produce copy for stewardship and marketing communications
- First-class supporter management and motivating skills, delivering outstanding supporter experience for fundraisers
- Ability to influence and motivate
- Ability to organise a busy workload and prioritise effectively, working to tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently, co-operatively and as an effective team member
- Ability to use IT systems and databases
Desirable:
- Experience of working in an Events or Community Fundraising team
- Experience of developing and delivering new products or initiatives – fundraising-related desirable
Salary: £24,000- £29,375 per annum

Basic Requirements of Post:
As part of this role you will be required to work and travel across the Bradford District and Craven. While the VCS Alliance supports hybrid working, there is an expectation that you will be in the office for at least two days per week.
Purpose of the Post:
As a Project Support Officer, you will be at the heart of our mission, providing vital support to our project managers and teams:
- Providing essential support to project leads to ensure effective delivery of our projects.
- Providing general support to all our staff across the VCS Alliance to ensure our work can run smoothly and effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Project Leads to arrange meetings.
- Take minutes and actions during meetings.
- Update relevant action logs following meetings.
- Working with the relevant staff to ensure invoices are processed promptly.
- Assist in developing marketing materials.
- Post regular updates on the VCS Alliance website and social media.
- Support to plan and run events.
- Handle administrative tasks such as printing, filing, ordering refreshments, record keeping.
- Support Project Leads to collate and input monitoring information.
- Support Project Leads to prepare reports and progress updates.
- Monitor office inventory.
- Respond to enquiries via phone, email and drop-ins.
- Work with colleagues to develop newsletters, mailing and website updates.
- Complete any other relevant administrative tasks.
General Requirements
- Undertake personal training as required.
- Attend regular supervision sessions and staff meetings.
- Support general VCSA administration by handling inquiries via the telephone, email and drop-ins.
- Provide relevant information for VCSA’s newsletter/s, mailings, website and social media
- Comply with all organisational policies and procedures.
- Promote VCSA with all stakeholders during the duties of your work.
- Undertake any other duties prescribed by your line manager.
