Southampton Housing First supports individuals aged 16 and over, who have high support needs and a history of entrenched or repeat homelessness, to have a home of their own where they can regain stability, safety, and support. We work in partnership with the council and various housing association to deliver intensive person-centred support and accommodation choices. 

Our priority is to find safe, permanent housing that’s suitable for the client. Once housing is found our dedicated team provides intensive one to one support to enable clients to maintain their accommodation and achieve their goals.

Job Purpose 

· To lead and be part of a team that supports our clients to keep them safe and help them achieve their goals. 

· To provide people with homes and specialist support so they feel more valued and secure, and ready to take the next steps. 

Main Responsibilities 

· To support your team to achieve their potential through regular staff supervision, coaching, reflective practice and team meetings  

· To assist the contract and performance manager with ensuring the service is fully operational, our clients are receiving the appropriate support, and service KPIs are met 

· To be responsible for attendance management, performance management, quality assurance and any other staff related queries  

· To attend meetings, working closely with other agencies, services, stakeholders or commissioners to provide high quality support, manage risks and support service funding   

· To increase the presence of service in the local area, and engage with local communities and external partners to develop relationships, to identify how they can support us and our clients, maximise opportunities for clients as well as help us to win tenders and maintain contracts 

· To plan your team's rota, taking training and absence into account to ensure capacity within the team to support clients and prioritise high risk management referrals   

· To support your team where needed with their workload, and support a small caseload of clients

The Faculty of Public Health is recruiting to the new role of Membership Engagement Co-ordinator.

The Membership Engagement Co-ordinator will sit within the Faculty's small communications team to support a consistent and enhanced approach to engagement with Faculty members at local level, working closely with the Faculty's Local Board Members.

This new role will also seek to promote Faculty membership across the four nations of the UK, and provide other support to the Faculty's membership communications function.

THE ROLE:
The Service Manager plays a central role in ensuring that every young person who engages with Empire Fighting Chance receives high-quality, personalised support.

In this role, you will ensure that every young person who connects with Empire Fighting Chance receives an outstanding experience. You will oversee the full journey of young people through our programmes. From referral and assessment to onboarding, scheduling and progression. You will ensure their experience is safe and impactful.

You will champion a safety-aware culture across the organisation, embedding safeguarding into everyday practice and leading on case management and risk mitigation. This role is key to building a strong operational foundation for our Centre of Excellence in Bristol. Through strategic management, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will help shape an environment where young people feel safe, supported and empowered.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Manage the recruitment of young people

Accountable for the recruitment of suitable young people onto the programmes of Empire Fighting Chance.

• Implement a robust referral criteria process to ensure that Empire Fighting Chance targets the young people that it best supports.Contribute to the development of a ‘bank’ of recommended organisations to share with those young people who do not meet the charity’s referral criteria.

• Ensure the recruitment of young people for different Empire programmes meets organisational, grant and contractual targets.
• Provide oversight of all referral partnerships held by Empire Fighting Chance, ensuring all are working as well as they can.

• Contribute to building intelligence of local systems within Bristol to shape how we recruit young people, including understanding the education, Special Educational Needs and mental health landscapes.
• Ensure the recruitment of young people onto EFC programmes follows a robust quality assurance process, using data to inform and strengthen existing processes

2. Manage the triaging and scheduling of young people
Accountable for ensuring young people participate in the right programme with the right coach mentor or therapist at the right time.

• Improve the prioritisation criteria to ensure that the charity fast tracks individuals who are most in need of support.
• Identify new approaches to managing the charity’s waiting list, ensuring the programmes can meet their needs and offer the correct resources to support them.
• Implement our assessment process to ensure Empire Fighting Chance gains a full and accurate understanding of each young person’s needs and circumstances.
• Implement a process to match young people with the most appropriate Empire Fighting Chance programme and coach mentor/therapist.
• Strengthen the scheduling process of young people’s programmes at Empire Fighting Chance.

3. Manage a safety aware culture
Accountable for developing of a culture where safeguarding and safety are embedded into every aspect
of our work.

• Champion a safety-aware culture across the organisation, embedding safeguarding into everyday practice.
  Be a key part of the safeguarding team and ensure robust safeguarding practices are implemented across all areas of the charity.
• Lead on safeguarding case management, including referrals, reporting, and liaison with external agencies.
• Identify, assess and mitigate safeguarding risks in programme delivery and organisational operations.

4. Manage young people’s ‘Empire Experience’
Accountable for Empire Fighting Chance giving young people the best possible experience (outside of the delivery of programmes).

• Identify and implement improvements to The Mill boxing gym to ensure that young people feel safe and have an enjoyable experience (while retaining the look and feel of a real boxing gym). 
• Oversee the onboarding process to ensure that young people have the best possible start to their Empire experience.
• Work alongside the Head of Programmes and Community Outreach Manager to develop a ‘bank’ of local organisations and services that young people can be referred onto during or after their programme. Ensure this information is shared with coaches and therapists so they can communicate it to the young person.
• Oversee the offboarding process that will support young people to continue their development after leaving Empire Fighting Chance (e.g. resources and pathways for young people – internally and externally).
• Use data and insights from young people to improve their experience.

5. Manage the provision of family liaison/support
Accountable for providing support to parents/carers of young people.

• Work alongside the Family Liaison Officer to enhance the information, advice, guidance and support provided to parents and carers to ensure young people engage with their programme.
• Oversee the development of practices and interventions that can provide support to parents and carers that will, in turn, have benefits for young people.

6. Line management of a team
Provide strategic direction to a small team in a supportive manner.

• Provide clear direction, support and motivation to team members, ensuring the Centre of Excellence objectives and the experience of young people is central to all decision making.
• Set clear performance goals and expectations for each function area within the operations team to ensure EFC programmes are operating to the highest standards and at optimal capacity.
• Ensure the team receive regular CPD and are equipped with the skills and knowledge to best support young people (many with complex needs).

About St Peters West Molesey & Bridge the Gap

St Peters West Molesey is one of twelve VCSE partners delivering Surrey’s Changing Futures / Bridge the Gap service. Bridge the Gap supports people experiencing multiple disadvantage—including homelessness, rough sleeping, mental and physical health challenges, substance use, domestic abuse, offending behaviours, and other safeguarding concerns.

Using a holistic, trauma-informed and person-centred approach, we walk side by side with clients to help them stabilise their lives, regain control, and achieve meaningful change.

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated Bridge the Gap Practitioner to provide intensive outreach support to single people who are rough sleeping, homeless, or at risk of homelessness. Each individual is unique, and your work will reflect their personal goals, strengths, hopes, and aspirations.

You will build trusting relationships, co-produce person-centred plans (“My Story, Strengths and Hopes”), and offer practical, emotional, and advocacy support. Alongside system partners and multi-agency teams, you’ll help clients access the services they need to move towards stability and wellbeing.

This role includes reflective practice and clinical supervision with our resident Clinical Psychologist, ensuring your own wellbeing is prioritised.

About Open Seas

Open Seas is a small environmental charity working in Scotland and beyond to promote environmental recovery in our seas and champion sustainable seafood. Established in 2016, we conduct environmental and policy research to inform consumers, markets and decision-makers as well as generate campaigns to drive positive change for the environmental health of Scotland’s seas. 

This is a new role within our client following functional changes over a number of years. The Head of Supported Living is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and developing supported living services for adults with learning disabilities within the charity including our client's Shared Lives schemes and their residential home.

The role ensures that services are person-centred, high-quality, and compliant with regulatory and organisational standards, while empowering individuals to live independently and achieve their goals.

The role responsibilities will ensure that our client is able to support more people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health problems to lead healthy, active and equal lives. To achieve this ambition, they will transform their services to ensure that they are effective, efficient and impact and outcomes focused. The post will be responsible for ensuring that services are targeted at people who will gain the most benefit from the Trust’s community (campus) offer within rural and urban contexts. Location & Travel

You will be based at one of the communities within the region, with regular travel between communities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership

• Lead, manage, inspire and develop high performing, highly respected and skilled supported living teams across three communities, supporting and line-managing direct reports to achieve agreed objectives, which will in turn support the delivery of the wider strategic objectives of the Trust.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Head of Strategy and Operations. This pivotal role ensures Spinal Research is efficient, resilient, and future-focused. Our talented and supportive team of 20+ works closely with colleagues across fundraising, clinical, and research teams to create inspiring, high-impact opportunities for supporters. In partnership with senior volunteers and committees, we drive landmark campaigns including the £300 million Build It. Beat It. appeal and the Tick Tock Club, with exciting plans for a major new research-focused campaign on the horizon.

This role sits within our Connecting Communities service, which is an element of the larger Mental Health and Wellbeing Service in Tower Hamlets. What You’ll Do:
As our Head of Fundraising, you will play a vital role to help deliver the League’s vision of a kinder society where animals are no longer persecuted in the name of ‘sport’. Your responsibilities will include:

About the Role

As Customer Services Manager, you will lead and develop the charity’s customer services, resident engagement and communications functions. Your work will help deliver the organisation’s mission of providing safe, secure and good quality affordable homes for single women across London.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and managing a team that includes Customer Service Advisors, a Resident Engagement and Resolutions Officer and a Communications Officer, you will ensure services are consistent, resident centred and delivered right first time.

Acting as second-in-command to the Director, you'll manage grants across the portfolio with a particular focus on the deprivation programme, which funds organisations supporting families, tackling homelessness and preparing young people for valuable roles in society.

In this influential role, you'll support the Director in developing grant making strategy, research organisations and assess applications, and monitor existing grants making recommendations for continuation or termination. You'll produce board papers and presentations, supervise the Grants Officer overseeing the Eating Disorders programme, and promote the Trust's founding Christian ethos by representing them at events and supporting Christian grantees. Prospectus are excited to be working with our client to help them recruit for an individual giving manager to join their team. The organisation is the UK’s LGBT+ anti-abuse charity. Founded in 1982, Galop has been championing the safety of the LGBT+ community for over 40 years. The charity works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. They run four national support helplines: for victims and survivors of domestic abuse, survivors of so-called “conversion therapy”, survivors of rape and sexual violence, and LGBT+ people who have experienced hate crime. They provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for victims who need longer-term support. They are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of the community are at the centre of what they do.

This role is offered on a full-time permanent contract basis paying a salary between £41,534 to £44,749 (including Inner London Weighting of £4,009) per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.

The charity started investing in Individual Giving in October 2023, with some key foundation building and early fundraising activity having taken place since then. This role aims to develop and secure a diverse range of funding streams to deliver their ambitious fundraising growth plans over the next 3 years. The post holder will work with the Head of Fundraising and Comms to grow their income from individuals, to ensure the long-term stability of the charity, helping them to deliver support to as many victims and survivors of abuse as possible.

They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing and managing individual giving strategies with demonstrable success in growing income. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience of creating engaging propositions and implementing and managing supporter journeys. The ideal candidate will have experience of fundraising within victim support, VAWG, or LGBT+ causes.
