London Academy of Excellence - Stratford (LAE) is seeking to recruit a Head of Fundraising and Partnerships to help it transform the lives of scholars from disadvantaged backgrounds. The ideal candidate will join LAE with experience in a fundraising role and have a passion for education.

The Role
You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships. With experience of applying to corporates, trusts, and foundations to secure 6+ figure donations over multiple years, you will be comfortable developing a strong pipeline of new business to meet income targets. This role will identify and cultivate new business and relationships to advance the mission and goals of STEM Learning.

To be successful as Head of Fundraising:
- You will have an entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership for identifying opportunities for new funds and contributing to the overall fundraising strategy of STEM Learning.
- Adaptable and agile, you may already have an existing range of investor contacts and will be required to develop external relationships with institutional investors and High Net Worth individuals.
- Confident and communicative, you possess exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills – feeling at ease in presenting to a range of audiences made up of C-level executives, decision makers and High Net Worth Individuals. You must be comfortable ‘making the ask’.
- You will have strong networking skills at events and conferences - gaining insights into market trends and opportunities, helping you to develop a full understanding of the investment landscape and constantly seek out ways to grow our business.
- You will be able manage multiple priorities and influence others and demonstrate your knowledge of the business and its strategic priorities to achieve our goals.
- You will be comfortable delivering at pace with the ability to manage your work in a fast-moving environment whilst prioritising your tasks effectively to maintain momentum.

Individual Giving Officer
Salary: £27500 to £30,000 FTE
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 37 Hours Per Week OR Part time 30 hours per week over 4 days

Job Purpose:
- Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising strategy as a member of the Fundraising Team
- Have day to day responsibility for the Individual Giving income stream
- Manage a portfolio of existing Individual Giving supporters, providing exceptional supporter care and building relationships, stewarding and nurturing existing donors.
- Improve supporter retention and maximise donors’ lifetime value to hyh
- Manage, develop and lead on the use of hyh’s CRM effectively to segment data and make insight-led decisions. This includes developing new reports, liaising with the external CRM consultant to make improvements, writing up procedures and training members of the team in best practice.
- Acquire and develop new donors through solicitation and stewardship plans using a supporter journey programme to build engagement and loyalty.
- Develop marketing and comms materials through digital and other channels to deliver the programme.
- Maximise all opportunities to develop regular giving, appeals, one-off occasion donations, in-mem and legacy
Skills:
- Excellent communicator in formal and informal communications, both verbally and in writing, to all stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate sensitively; negotiating effectively to generate support among people from diverse backgrounds and all levels
- Strong analytical and methodical IT skills
- Approachable, creative, ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to motivate others and work as part of a team

Flint House Police Rehabilitation is a registered Charity offering rehabilitation services to ill or injured serving and retired police officers suffering from a wide variety of physical and mental health conditions. Every year we treat over 3,000 police officers. Located just outside Goring on Thames and set in 20 acres of ancient woodland, there are two main buildings on a single site – Flint House and Flint Fold.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement donor engagement strategies and initiatives to attract, retain, and upgrade individual and institutional donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with existing donors through personalised communications, meetings, events, and recognition opportunities to ensure donor satisfaction and loyalty.
- Support, identify and research prospective donors, including major gift prospects, corporate partners, and grant-making organisations, and develop cultivation and solicitation plans to secure their support.
- Collaborate with the wider team to plan and execute fundraising campaigns and initiatives, including annual giving, special appeals, and capital campaigns, and provide support in donor stewardship, prospect research, and solicitation efforts.
- Work to create compelling fundraising appeals, donor newsletters, impact reports, and other donor communications materials to engage and inspire donors.
- Manage donor recognition and acknowledgment programs to ensure donors feel valued and appreciated for their support, including thank-you letters, plaques, and donor events.
- With the Data Analyst, track and analyse donor data, including giving history, preferences, and trends, to inform donor engagement strategies, segment donor lists, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Represent the charity at donor meetings, events, and networking opportunities to build relationships with current and prospective donors and promote our mission and programs.
- Deputise the communications strategy with administering communications on our media platforms.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, fundraising, communications, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, donor relations, or related field, with a proven track record of success in donor cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation.
- Social media platforms experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate the charity's mission, impact, and funding needs to diverse audiences.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in donor management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant fundraising tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices, ethical guidelines, and regulations governing charitable organisations.
- Passion for the Flint House mission and commitment to fostering a culture of philanthropy and donor-centred fundraising.

The opportunity has arisen to join the Senior Leadership team support staff in an exciting new role at the heart of philanthropic leadership at the University of Oxford. With an initial focus on supporting the fundraising activity of the Executive Director of Development, this new role will increase our capacity to secure multi-million-pound donations from across the globe.
About the Role
The main duties of this post will be the provision of high quality and efficient project management for the Senior Leadership team, including:
- Developing fundraising proposals, briefings and supporting materials for the SLT to use to promote funding opportunities to potential donors.
- Collating information and materials to provide reports for the SLT and other senior officers within the Pro Vice Chancellors’ and Vice Chancellor’s offices as needed for donor and volunteer cultivation, solicitations, stewardship and events.
- Managing donor reporting for key donors, liaising with academics and other key stakeholders to draft reports to donors.
- Providing follow-up to any initiative which members of the SLT thinks must be tracked but which does not fall within the remit of any of the Development and Alumni Engagement teams, prompting members of the team about action as needed.
To Be Successful You’ll Need:
- Experience of providing a high level of project support in a fast-paced, complex organisation, ideally in a higher education or development environment
- An ability to act independently and decisively when the situation demands it. Good judgement and the ability to acquire the knowledge necessary to support the task in hand in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including a good command of the English language; the ability to be highly creative in producing materials and to understand how to articulate projects
