Responsibilities

· Participate fully in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) and work within agreed sprint commitments.

· Apply established MOD standards for security, accessibility, and performance across all development tasks. Take part in estimating, code reviews, testing, and documentation to support quality and maintainability.

SUPPORTER DEVELOPMENT MANANGER

We are delighted to be working with St Margaret’s Hospice Care who support patients, families and carers across the majority of Somerset, providing specialist in-patient hospice care, an adviceline and community service.

St Margaret’s are now seeking an experienced and innovative Supporter Development Manager to lead the ‘Supporter Experience’ function, bringing fresh ideas and insight-driven strategies to enhance donor engagement. You will manage supporter journeys across all income streams, focus on retention and stewardship, recognise and thank donors appropriately, and ensure accurate data management, Gift Aid compliance, and adherence to fundraising policies.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will help drive the hospice’s five-year income generation strategy, maximising income through innovative, supporter-focused engagement. With one direct report and oversight of a further three team members, you will embed gold-standard stewardship across the directorate, use CRM insights to guide decisions, and support the growth of mid-level giving while ensuring consistently high-quality supporter experiences.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience delivering high-quality supporter care and stewardship strategies that retain donors, reduce attrition, and increase giving opportunities.
• Highly developed organisational and project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proven experience managing and delivering income-generating campaigns or appeals, including setting and managing budgets.

We are looking for a Senior Project Lead to help shape the future of responsible sourcing in the global tea sector.

Position: Senior Project Lead - Data and Industry Alignment

The Global Tea Coalition (GTC) is an industry forum that brings together CEOs and senior leaders from tea-buying/ producing companies to collaborate on the most pressing social and environmental challenges facing the global tea sector. The GTC seeks to improve sustainability, resilience, and responsible practices across the value chain.

The project will lead a sector-wide initiative addressing one of the industry’s most persistent challenges: the complexity, duplication, and inconsistency of social and environmental standards and data collection. The project aims to reduce duplication, improve alignment, and enable more practical and reliable data across the tea sector.

About the Role

To deliver this project, we are recruiting for a Senior Project Lead. You will have the opportunity to influence industry-wide change through an ambitious project to harmonise standards and data in the global tea supply chain.

You will deliver the project which will involve leading a technical working group of representatives from tea companies to co-design the project output and developing a harmonised approach that reduces producer burden and strengthens buyers’ access to standardised, comparable data for HREDD.

About You

WWT is the charity for wetlands.

This is a critical role in the recently restructured Operations Directorate at WWT. As Assistant Director, you will be directly responsible for the performance of our 7 Wetland Discovery sites. Senior Groups Coordinator

£32,440 gross per annum, 35.5 hours per week

The role

This role is part of the Student Activities department working collectively with colleagues delivering the Guild’s student groups, societies, activities and volunteering work as part the Engagement Directorate.

The Senior Student Groups Coordinator will supervise, develop and support staff to deliver the Student Activities departmental plan. Acting as a role model for the required standard of values, behaviour and performance, they will help to create an inclusive and engaging environment for all.

This role will supervise the Guild’s activity supporting students to participate in the student-led activities and activities to maximise their enjoyment, potential and sense of community. 

This role will ensure the effective administration, training and support for events/initiatives and support for activities to plan for the year, attract members and deliver their activities.

Success in the role will require a highly student and customer focused approach together with an emphasis on teamwork. The role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a positive ambassador for the Guild and facilitating under-represented activities to find a comfortable place here.

The Opportunity   

The postholder will be responsible for supporting with the oversight of our Aspiring Professionals Programme and Programme Delivery team, with approximately 70% of the activity provision sitting within our Volunteering and Mentoring provision.

The SMF offers in-person and online support and opportunities, so this role will involve providing virtual and in-person support to students and working with employers across the UK.

1. Line Management  

• Set and monitor goals for performance and development with direct reports  
• Coach staff, providing timely feedback and guidance 
• Evaluate performance on an ongoing basis, providing training and development opportunities where required  

 2. Project and Delivery Management  

• Project manage key delivery projects including the recruitment and retention of volunteers and mentors, event provision, student services and other programme work areas

3. Monitoring and Evaluation  

• Monitor progress on ongoing key delivery areas, taking corrective action where necessary and supporting the team to adapt where necessary  
• Oversee Salesforce data and other relevant platforms ensuring accuracy and timely updates  

4. Stakeholder Management  

• Steward relationships with critical stakeholders  
• Support staff to communicate efficiently with stakeholders  
• Identify opportunities for efficiency within process and work with the team to implement change

We collect unwanted tools from across the UK, refurbish them into professional trade kits, and ship approximately 25 containers - over 200 tonnes of equipment - annually to support around 500 skills training centres, churches and charities in seven countries.

About the role
As Retail Compliance Manager, you will be accountable for maintaining and implementing retail compliance within our risk management framework, ensuring legislative requirements are met and risks to our people, operations and brand are minimised. Working on a remote-first basis, you will support central trading teams and retail operations to embed safe, legal and best practice ways of working across our shop network and retail activities.

The role will involve occasional travel to our shops across the UK (approximately 1–3 times per month) to support incident management.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a key period for our Retail function.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee implementation of compliance with the retail risk management framework, including annual compliance checks and health & safety risk assessments.
• Develop and implement a retail audit programme, ensuring actions are tracked, completed and embedded.
• Lead on retail compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they remain up to date, clear and compliant with statutory requirements.
• Monitor incidents, investigations and emerging trends, making recommendations to the Retail Leadership Team to inform the risk register and decision-making.
• Support shop teams through training, coaching and expectation setting to drive consistent compliance and best practice.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Retail, Property and Knowledge teams to ensure statutory testing, documentation and guidance are in place and accessible.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• A strong understanding of charity retail operations and the compliance landscape within a retail environment.
• Experience of health and safety legislation and broader retail compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to write clear, practical policies, procedures and guidance.
• Excellent influencing, facilitation and communication skills, with the confidence to coach and support others to achieve compliance.
• Experience working with volunteers and operational teams, ideally within a multi-site environment.
• A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach, able to prioritise effectively under pressure.
