Working with the Director of Research, this role will have strategic leadership and oversight of the clinical development process at Cure Parkinson’s. The charity supports a large treatment selection process that feeds new clinical trials seeking disease modification. This is an exciting time in Parkinson’s research and there is the opportunity to have a really meaningful impact by joining the Cure Parkinson’s team as we expand our funding schemes and initiate new ventures.
As our Clinical Research Manager, you will have a PhD in life sciences (an MD or MBSS would advantageous) and significant experience in clinical trial development. You must have a strong understanding of Parkinson’s, the biology associated with the condition, and the agents currently in development. You will require excellent organisational and communication skills as you will be representing the charity via stakeholder engagement. Working as an effective member of our Research Team you will be able to handle multiple tasks with precision simultaneously and be comfortable building relationships and providing support for researchers.

Stella Maris is the official maritime charity of the Catholic Church. We are looking for a Regional Port Chaplain for Immingham and the South Humber Ports to support seafarers, fishers and their families.
In this unique and rewarding role, you'll be the welcoming face of Stella Maris in your region, visiting ships, listening to crew members, and offering practical, pastoral and spiritual support to anyone in need, regardless of faith or background.
About the role
No two days are the same. You might spend the morning visiting ships and listening to crew members' stories, help someone contact their family back home, support a seafarer in crisis, or offer a quiet moment of prayer on deck.
You'll also recruit and support a team of volunteers, work closely with other maritime charities and local partners, and build strong relationships with parishes, dioceses, and port authorities. You'll be part of a nationwide network of Stella Maris chaplains, supported through regular meetings, retreats and professional development opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Visit ships regularly to meet seafarers and fishers, responding to their pastoral, practical and spiritual needs.
- Provide practical help such as transport, communication access, and emergency or crisis support.
- Offer spiritual care to Catholic seafarers and facilitate the religious needs of those from other faiths.
- Recruit, train and support Stella Maris volunteers.
- Work collaboratively with other maritime charities.
- Maintain strong relationships with local parishes, the Diocese of Nottingham, and port stakeholders such as the Harbour Master, shipping agents and welfare committees.

About the role
Based within the Personal Development team, this role is responsible for the service delivery of an effective, high-quality, person centred support service to residents with a range of multiple needs.
They will be the principal providers of support to residents in the Core service to build
hope, enable lasting change; supporting residents to instil independence and longterm sustainability, to ensure we mitigate as much as possible, a return to
homelessness.
The role will require shift work, including evenings and weekends

Other responsibilities include
- To be responsible to the Team Manager and Deputy Team Manager for the day-to-day delivery of the Core service.
- Take a positive, trauma-informed approach to working with residents with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
- Use motivational and asset based interviewing techniques to interview, assess and create support plans and risk assessments that address the needs of residents.
- Supporting residents from point of entry into the service, working with them to support social (re-integration), enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives.
- Conduct regular reviews of support plans and risk assessments as required.
- Take a pro-active approach in multi-disciplinary support required for residents.
- Work within a Psychologically Informed Environment approach and strive to meet targets and deliver results.

Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Office Manager who will report to the Head of Strategy & Operations, and be responsible for health & safety, and HR for the organisation. This exciting role will also ensure the smooth running of the office space, support staff wellbeing and team culture, and assist the CEO and Trustees as Secretary to the Borad.
Key Responsibilities
Office Management
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Serve as the main contact for the office’s building management, and keep staff updated about the premises as needed.
- Maintain and organise the office space and storage unit.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Health & Safety
- Act as the Health & Safety Officer for the organisation.
- Collaborate with external consultants to ensure compliance with current legislation, and annual Health & Safety assessments.
- Keep team members informed about office safety, First Aiders, and Fire Wardens; maintain up-to-date records on SharePoint and in the office.
- Attend relevant training to stay current with new legislation.
Human Resources
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff HR matters; including annual leave, sickness, contract changes, and updates to the staff handbook.
- Work with the charity’s external consultant and legal advisors to resolve HR issues.
- Support recruitment by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring payroll and benefits information is correctly shared.
- Review and recommend employee benefits based on changing team needs.
- Manage the in-house learning portal and ensure all staff training is current and relevant.
Company Secretarial Duties
- Act as Secretary to the Board of Trustees.
- Manage correspondence with the Charity Commission and Companies House.
- Ensure timely submission of required documents and accurate record-keeping on SharePoint.
- Coordinate and schedule Trustee meetings, ensuring all documentation is completed ahead of deadlines.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.

The Role
CXK is looking for x2 Engagement & Employability Coaches to drive our programmes across Kent and Medway. As an Engagement & Employability Coach, you'll use your creativity and mentoring skills to provide tailored support to individuals in various community settings, preparing them for the workforce or further education. Whether through one-on-one sessions or group activities, you'll foster personal, social, and employability skills, equipping beneficiaries with the tools they need to move into education, training, an apprenticeship, or sustained employment.
Your role will extend beyond direct beneficiary support; you'll collaborate closely with partner organisations, ensuring seamless referrals and continued progress for our beneficiaries post-programme.
The main responsibilities of the role are to:
· Deliver personalised mentoring, advice, and guidance to unemployed young people and adults, nurturing their growth and employability.
· Conduct engaging unaccredited/accredited training sessions and workshops, incorporating both face-to-face and online formats to suit diverse learning styles.
· Employ a person-centred approach, adapting strategies to suit individual or group dynamics.
· Identify the additional support needs of young people and adults and work with appropriate providers to ensure this is available to them.
· Support work placements and other community opportunities and be confident working in detached and outreach settings.
· Advocate for young people and adults, working to support them and their families to address barriers to progression with sensitivity and confidentiality.

As part of a small charity team, the Fundraising Lead will play a key role in generating income to support our mission. This role covers all aspects of fundraising, with a particular focus on securing grants, engaging local businesses the community and delivering successful fundraising events. The postholder will work collaboratively to develop and implement fundraising strategies that build strong relationships and ensure sustainable income streams.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Grant Fundraising Research and identify suitable grant opportunities from trusts, foundations and statutory bodies. Prepare compelling funding applications and supporting documentation. Maintain accurate records of applications, deadlines and outcomes. Build and nurture relationships with funders, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.
Community Fundraising Develop and support community fundraising initiatives, including local partnerships, volunteer-led activities and campaigns. Engage with supporters, schools and local businesses to encourage participation and donations. Provide resources and guidance for community fundraisers to maximize success.

About the Project
The Open Kitchen is a community-led initiative tackling food poverty and social isolation across the UK. Our kitchens, based in Hounslow (London), Nottingham, and Manchester, provide free, hot, and nutritious meals to individuals and families affected by homelessness, low income, or displacement as refugees.
Operating seven days a week, the Open Kitchen offers more than just food it provides a safe, welcoming space where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
Each kitchen also serves as a community support hub, distributing essential household items and sleeping bags to those in need.
Through this initiative, we aim not only to alleviate hunger but also to connect service users with pathways to stability, empowerment, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Open Kitchen project team, the role will involve ensuring the smooth, safe, and impactful operation of Open Kitchen Manchester. Responsibilities include:
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day activities within Open Kitchen Manchester, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals.
- Supervise and observe the cooking facility in the Manchester Open Kitchen, ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Manage food inventory, kitchen supplies, and procurement processes to ensure sustainability and efficiency.
- Ensure all food standards are followed.
Volunteer Coordination
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Promote a positive and inclusive volunteer culture that reflects the values of compassion, respect, and community service.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain partnerships with local food banks, the NHS, job centres, local councils, and rehousing services to offer holistic support to service users.
- Collaborate with community organisations, faith groups, and local businesses to strengthen the project’s reach and impact.
· Collaborating with strategic partners to drive the expansion of the open kitchen concept across multiple locations.
· Leading fundraising initiatives for the open kitchen and managing the facilitation of in-kind donations.
- Represent the Open Kitchen at community events and stakeholder meetings to promote collaboration and visibility.
Beneficiary Support
- Identify service users who may benefit from additional assistance, including access to healthcare, employment, housing, or welfare services.
- Coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure referrals and follow-ups are managed effectively.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Ensure all operational, financial, and compliance records are maintained accurately.
- Monitor performance indicators such as meals served, volunteer hours, and beneficiary outcomes, and report regularly to the management team.
- Support the continuous improvement of service quality and community impact.
- Create and provide daily Open kitchen feedback reports to monitor beneficiary numbers and meal distributions.
