We have an exciting opportunity for a Trust and Foundations Officer to join our team and play a vital role identifying, researching and approaching trusts and foundations interested in funding projects which focus on global canine welfare.
About the role:
As Trusts and Foundations Officer (International) you will:
- Support the Trust and Foundations Team Manager (International) to deliver the trusts/foundations element of the fundraising strategy.
- Meet an agreed annual income target via trusts/foundations, which contributes toward the Trust Team’s target.
- Develop a pipeline of charitable trusts/foundations that could support a range of international projects, programmes and activities.
- Write high quality funding bids, in line with the requirements of potential funders, and upholding Dogs Trust’s brand and high standards
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will have a demonstrable track record of securing grants from charitable trusts/foundations, well-developed written and verbal communication skills and, above all, be a strong, positive team player, committed to the aims and values of Dogs Trust.
You will have exceptional attention to detail and a strong aptitude for writing creative narrative that will ensure our applications stand out when being assessed. Ideally, to be considered for a role focused on fundraising for our international projects you will have a successful track-record of trust fundraising for international projects or a strong interest in doing so.

We have an amazing opportunity to play a key role in shaping exceptional supporter experiences through the design and delivery of a bespoke portfolio of engagement events. No two days in the role will be the same as you will be working on a fun, fast-paced and varied programme of events – from virtual tours of our research labs to thought-provoking lectures and inspiring talks, and everything in between.
Working closely with our High Value fundraisers, you will ensure that events meet their engagement targets, while making current and future supporters feel valued, informed and inspired by their impact.
The role will be primarily responsible for supporting the delivery of virtual and face to face events for our Legacy supporters, as well as designing and delivering new Legacy events. You will also support the day to day running of our wider High Value events for major donors and senior representatives from corporates, trusts and foundations.
About you
We are looking for an individual who is proactive, creative and highly organised. You will be comfortable working calmly to tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
You will have a real passion for events and be curious about external trends, including virtual and hybrid events. A confident and collaborative communicator, you will have strong internal relationship building skills, and be comfortable leading small project teams to shape individual event ideas, including leading ideation and innovation sessions.
Above all, you will be driven by a desire to provide excellent supporter experiences, and use this drive to keep elevating your events based on feedback and evidence.

We are looking for a Devon Fundraising Manager to build relationships with key community groups, running third-party events and corporates for a small social welfare charity.
This is home based role with travel across the Devon region, you will need a car.

The Role
Manage and grow the income for the charity through fundraising (corporate, community and some events.)
A key focus will be building on the burgeoning corporate relationships in Exeter and Devon, including managing the key partnership alongside smaller corporate partners, as well as looking ahead to next year's COY partnerships.
Research, plan and implement new fundraising initiatives guided by the fundraising strategy and your own experience.
Recruit fundraisers and identify and manage all events in Devon, nicluding a Christmas Carol concert.
Build new relationships and maintain existing relationships with the wider Devon community.
The Candidate
Experience of achieving financial and non-financial targets.
Demonstrable strong written and verbal communication skills; to be able to write reports, deliver presentations, and to communicate with and influence stakeholders.
Willingness to travel across Devon, and when needed, connect with regional service teams.
Full driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.

The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for meeting income targets through a range of income streams including, community/events fundraising, grants/trusts and developing other key income streams such as major donors, regular giving, and gift in wills. A further key part of the role will be to recruit volunteers to build capacity within the fundraising team, typically recruiting volunteers to support with challenge and fundraising events.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Providing insight in to the development of the fundraising and volunteering strategy and delivering on the strategy targets.
- Leading on the recruitment of volunteers with a focus on volunteers for fundraising and youth engagement
- Managing, supporting, and developing imaginative fundraising activities, some of which will be event based.
- Working closely with the Head of Supporter Services with the development of the supporter and corporate income streams, regular giving programme, a gifts-in-wills plan and contribute to bid writing for grant/trust applications.
- Inspiring new supporters to raise income, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters.
This would be a wonderful opportunity for a fundraiser with experience across two or more income streams and a good understanding of volunteers.
