About the Role
The main duties of this post will be the provision of high quality and efficient project management for the Senior Leadership team, including:
- Developing fundraising proposals, briefings and supporting materials for the SLT to use to promote funding opportunities to potential donors.
- Collating information and materials to provide reports for the SLT and other senior officers within the Pro Vice Chancellors’ and Vice Chancellor’s offices as needed for donor and volunteer cultivation, solicitations, stewardship and events.
- Managing donor reporting for key donors, liaising with academics and other key stakeholders to draft reports to donors.
- Providing follow-up to any initiative which members of the SLT thinks must be tracked but which does not fall within the remit of any of the Development and Alumni Engagement teams, prompting members of the team about action as needed.
To Be Successful You’ll Need:
- Experience of providing a high level of project support in a fast-paced, complex organisation, ideally in a higher education or development environment

We are looking for a highly motivated Director of Training to take over strategic leadership of the Reprezent Training Programme. Reprezent is a not-for-profit social enterprise and specialist youth development organisation. Our award-winning approach helps young people to realise their full personal potential by providing training and development programmes that enable them to jumpstart their careers and develop a core suite of social, emotional and broadcast skills. We have been a pivotal stepping stone for hundreds of artists and broadcasting presenters aspiring to break into the mainstream over the last two decades, including Stormzy, Munya Chawawa, Jorja Smith and Jamz Supernova, and have helped thousands more young people to meet other personal development goals.
At the helm of our operation is Reprezent Radio, a dynamic youth-led community radio station based in South London. Since 2010 the station’s hallmark has been empowering young voices and championing the narratives of diverse and underrepresented communities, and as a result many of our beneficiaries are those deemed ‘hardest-to-reach’ (young black South Londoners, early school leavers, second generation immigrants).
Our unique training model combines in-person training courses with work experience placements at the station, resulting in a cohesive programme of entry-to-advanced level training provision and an active waiting list of over two thousand people.

Trusts and Grants Fundraiser
Offering flexible working with a friendly team, we’re looking for a Trusts & Grants Fundraiser to support The Haven’s financial sustainability through efficient grant research, application, and grant management. You will navigate the world of trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to identify funding opportunities aligned with our objectives and submit high quality applications for support.
Your responsibilities include maintaining a well-organised grant pipeline, tailoring applications to funder criteria, and collaborating with colleagues across The Haven to ensure projects are delivered and measured. Building and nurturing relationships is essential. Your contributions will inform our grants strategy, ensure ethical practices, and contribute to our mission's success.
The role is full-time or part-time (30 hours), and can be remote, hybrid, or office based in Wolverhampton, depending on your preference.

Main Responsibilities
Grant Research, Application and Management:

Purpose
This is a vital role sitting as part of the Senior leadership team at Hope and contributing to the future sustainability and development of Hope.
The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of Income Generation and manage the commissioned projects which Hope run.
Developing a long term sustainable income generation portfolio you will have responsibility for your own income generation and manage the fundraising team to deliver their financial targets, motivating and monitoring them to achieve success.
Our current income generation activity currently generates around £1.2million per annum and it is the post holders responsibility to grow this income to achieve £1.5million per annum in the next 5 years to ensure Hope can achieve it’s newly launched Operational Strategy.
There is also a likely a facility move in the future, where the Head of Development would need to access funds, in addition to operational budget, for a facility transformation project.
As Line Manager for Hope’s commissioned projects you will have overall responsibility to deliver on the contracts for which we have been commissioned and identify growth potential for the organisation.
Responsibilities
- To Manage all aspects of income generation at Hope.
- To deliver a diverse fundraising portfolio to ensure long-term sustainability.

- 10.30am to 11.30am, candidates divided into groups including volunteers and service-user volunteers to complete the following task:
‘As a group we would like you to discuss the Strengths, Weaknesses, Threats and Opportunities of working with other charities and community groups locally to deliver a shared event portfolio (eg. Bike rides, Sponsored runs, sponsored abseiling, charity balls etc) when comparing to running the portfolio of events in-house for just Hope”
- 11.30am to 12.15pm candidates asked to work in different groups (of two or three candidates only):
You will have 40 minutes to develop an eight to ten minutes presentation:
‘Discuss and present the value of a diverse portfolio of income, and consider the benefits and risks associated with strategy creep* when accessing funding from grants-providers and trusts’
*Strategy Creep is defined as the phenomenon in which an organisations initial strategy/delivery plan slowly grows to include more goals, tasks or requirements.

The role
As Forward Action’s Partnerships Officer, you’ll support the Partnerships Director to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners, so we can help them achieve change on everything from climate change to refugee rights.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage the administration side of our partnerships, from initial contact and briefing, through proposal management, all the way to issuing contracts and drafting scopes. You’ll work across multiple projects and deadlines, managing processes, organising meetings, following up action points, and keeping accurate partnership records.
You’ll champion the partner experience and ensure we always deliver value. This includes meeting with organisations to explore their goals, and briefing colleagues on new partners’ needs. You’ll also lead on our marketing and webinar programme, coordinating plans and working with colleagues and freelancers to deliver outstanding content.

About you
You’ll have experience as an account manager or another relationship-based role in fundraising, events, sales or marketing. You might have worked in an agency or the NGO sector, but this isn’t essential.

You’ll also be proactive, process driven, and an excellent problem solver who’s always keen to improve the way we do things. And as the first point of contact for many of our partners, you’ll be a great communicator who’s brilliant at building relationships.
