Job Purpose

Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a corporate fundraising and partnerships strategy
2. Shape and implement the wider Fundraising Strategy in collaboration with the Director and SLT.
3. Lead income forecasting, budget setting, reporting and analysis, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
4. Lead a proactive acquisition approach and drive new business activity and secure at least five-figure partnerships and donations
5. Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline of corporate prospects
6. Work with teams across the organisation to develop and prepare tailored cases for support, proposals and reports and bespoke updates and communications to donors
7. Personally identify and manage a portfolio of key relationships
8. Monitor income performance and provide timely reports and analysis, including reporting to the BC board and the BC Trading Company Board
9. Negotiate and deliver partnership agreements ensuring delivery against agreed targets and a good return on investment for the charity.
10. Update and maintain records of all business and corporate approaches, communications and agreements on the CRM and appropriate files.
11. Where required develop and/or follow policies and procedures on due diligence, data management, account management, stewardship, and reporting.
12. Represent fundraising in the development and use of CRM systems and insight tools.
13. Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate income coding, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
14. Line-manage and support the Corporate Fundraising Officer, driving performance and innovation through a solution focused approach.
15. Manage external agencies and ensure contracts meet compliance and strategic needs.
16. Actively contribute to SLT and organisational strategy, projects, and decision-making.

About the role
You’ll be working on direct marketing campaigns and leading a strategic area of fundraising, to engage and inspire people to donate. And you’ll make it as easy as possible for supporters to choose the way they want to give. You’ll be part of a team that champions and supports each other, and is innovative in a changing fundraising and external environment to achieve our annual income target of over £5 million.
Focusing on high volume donations under £1000, we use analysis and insight to deliver a variety of direct marketing activities that recruit new donors and ensure everyone can see the impact of their kind contribution.
What you’ll do:

Support the Individual Giving Manager to help set strategic objectives, monitor income and expenditure and use database analysis to inform the individual giving programme.

Plan, create and manage direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline, and lead a strategic area of fundraising to secure donations

Work with the Individual Giving Officers, delegating work and championing their development. There may also be an opportunity to line manage an Individual Giving Officer.

What you’ll bring:

Strong experience of managing Individual Giving or direct marketing activity with substantial income and expenditure budgets.

As Prevent Breast Cancer's Community Fundraising Lead, you'll help grow and maintain income so they can continue their incredibly important work. You'll do this through supporting and developing relationships across the community income stream which includes businesses, community groups, schools and Prevent's brilliant Paint Your Town Pink campaign. You'll also be researching potential new campaigns and thinking up ways to advance community fundraising.
You'll grow and steward a pipeline of new and existing audiences and fundraising opportunities, ensuring that the supporter journey is always exceptional while contributing to robust financial planning, management and reporting of income and expenditure in your own areas of expertise on a monthly basis. Additionally, you'll collaborate with the wider fundraising team to identify relevant products/ events/ campaigns/ Gifts-in-Kind that will be of interest to existing and potential supporters.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will be a natural communicator, who has excellent networking and relationship building skills. You'll be someone whose work remains high quality even when under pressure, and you'll be highly organised.
You're a flexible and adaptable fundraiser, who can work well independently, as well as part of the team. Most importantly, you'll be keen to use your experience to support the only UK charity committed solely to predicting and preventing breast cancer.

Strategic Leadership

Purpose of Role
The Digital Fundraising Growth Manager will manage our digital paid media planning and delivery, driving audience engagement at all stages of the marketing funnel, specifically with the aim of delivering growth in our supporter base and income.
The post holder will directly oversee all digital paid media activity in line with agreed campaign and year round engagement and fundraising strategies and plans, including but not limited to social media advertising, search marketing, programmatic display, and emerging channels ensuring plans are fully integrated with other engagement and fundraising activity (including owned and earned media across all channels and wider organisational efforts).
