About the Role
The role requires a well-structured and highly organised approach, to ensure delivery and reporting is of the highest quality and a creative and proactive approach, to navigate challenges and hold others to account, when needed. The project management aspect of the role requires someone who is an excellent communicator with responsibility to oversee Service Level Agreements (agreed outputs, outcomes and communications) between the organisation and Youth Zones, and their relationships with funders.. About the role
As CEO, you'll support us through a new stage in our development. We're operating in a fluid political environment and so our new leader needs to be confident to work in a political setting while also having the skills and experience to run an organisation like ours.
You'll take ultimate responsibility for our campaign to achieve Proportional Representation in the House of Commons. You will:
- as leader of the campaign, be primarily responsible for building the popular and political momentum needed to secure this seismic reform;
- as leader of the organisation, be primarily responsible for defining and executing MVM’s strategy, while ensuring its good financial health and legal and regulatory compliance; and

Prospectus is excited to be working with Hand in Hand International to help them recruit for a Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to join their team. Since 2003, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, Hand in Hand International helped more than 4 million women launch small businesses that can stand the test of time. They work with women because of the unique barriers they face, and because when those barriers are broken, whole families and communities win.
This role is offered on a full-time maternity cover contract basis paying a salary between £45,000 to £54,000 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.
Reporting directly to Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the primary objective of the post holder is to manage existing grants and accounts, as well as secure new funding for Hand in Hand International. The role’s key focus will be identifying, creating relationships with and securing donations from corporate and family Trusts and Foundations and/or major donors. The role is highly international, working with colleagues across Afghanistan, Kenya and Tanzania, and a prospect base spread across globe. The post holder may be required to travel.
They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in raising six & seven figure gifts, grant management, and partnership development within the charity sector. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience to engage senior-level donors through calls, meetings, and events to provide updates on project advancements and identify additional donation opportunities. The ideal candidate should understand international development, women's economic empowerment and/or regenerative agriculture.

This role will focus the majority of their time on the acquisition of new donors. The team works on an agile basis and there is an expectation that the postholder will develop skills in our four key fundraising domains (acquisition marketing, retention marketing, church & community engagement, legacy & in memory fundraising) and support the execution of marketing campaigns and activities in each of these areas as required.
Key areas of focus in the Acquisition Marketing domain are:
- recruiting new individuals with optimal lifetime value to Tearfund through integrated campaigns using a range of above the line, direct marketing and digital marketing channels
- helping to achieve challenging annual targets for new supporters in line with UK fundraising strategy
- Project managing the implementation of campaigns and messaging to achieve donor recruitment targets

- Strong understanding of the UK Christian marketplace from a church and individual perspective
- Multi-channel marketing experience across a variety of media channels including direct mail, press and digital channels

The Role

You will be able to demonstrate experience in building and developing a pipeline of prospect partners, collaboration with key internal stakeholders, and have a proactive approach to new business, possess excellent communication skills and ultimately have the ability to deliver long-term, strategic funding opportunities.
