The Centre is a warm, vibrant community that exists as the only one of its kind in the UK and Europe. You'll be joining a successful fundraising team that together raises £500,000 per year, and a charity that has been enhancing the quality of life for people affected by neuromuscular conditions for 34 years.
You’ll be maintaining NMC’s existing events calendar, as well as having the autonomy to develop the calendar further and put your own stamp on it. You’ll also be managing our community fundraising income, which includes individual giving, lottery, working with local groups and supporting individuals with their own fundraising activities. You will be developing and building relationships with new and existing supporters to maximise fundraising potential, as well as recruiting and managing volunteers from all walks of life.
We’re looking for someone with previous fundraising experience, with the ambition to take this to new levels. This is a really immersive role, working with the charity's supporters and donors, while at the same time being based where the charity operates. Working alongside the Community Fundraising Manager the role will be responsible for being proactive in engaging local communities to maximise income generation by developing a plan to gain more supporters. You will be responsible for growing income by developing and maintaining relationships with volunteers, schools and other community groups.

The Role

At The Compassionate Friends (TCF) we are passionate about providing peer support to grieving parents and their families whose son or daughter has died at any age (from one month old to an adult) and from any cause. - Continuously developing our Letter from Santa product, improving the efficiency of how we use our budget and staff resources.

- Communicating with the plus stakeholders across the NSPCC involved in delivery of Letter from Santa have all the information they need and the opportunity and can bring their expertise to the product.
- Ensuring that all supporters who engage with Letter from Santa are having the best possible experience we can offer.
As well as working on Letter from Santa, the Senior Fundraiser – Products, will be responsible for the management of other existing fundraising products and support the development of new ones, playing a vital role as we expand our portfolio of ways in which supporters can give.

About the role:
As Trust Fundraiser, you'll be primarily focussed on raising funds through trusts and foundations to help Chuf deliver their ambitious 2024-27 fundraising strategy. A good chunk of this will be project based. You'll also be part of the Chuf fundraising team, so you'll be getting involved with all income generating activities. This will include assisting in the delivery of Chuf's in Memory Giving strategy through maintaining donors and providing fantastic stewardship. You'll also help the Director of Fundraising to achieve Chuf 's legacy strategy by maximising income generation through gifts in wills. First and foremost, you'll be a Chuf Fundraiser; making sure supporters receive first-class supporter care.
