About this key role
As a valued and integral part of the Fundraising and Communications team, our successful candidate will lead a small sub-team to generate at least £500,000 income each year, including the direct line management of a Senior Fundraising Officer, who you will support to line manage the Fundraising Assistant. As the Digital Fundraising Officer you will play a key role in supporting the digital fundraising strategy in the UK and internationally, with the objective of significantly growing the public supporter base and income. Main Duties

What’s on offer:
- Salary/Day Rate: £142.22 - £155.56 per day PAYE (£126.48 base + £15.74 holiday pay - £138.34 base + £17.22 holiday pay
- Working pattern: The organisation offers a hybrid working pattern, coming into the Chelsea/Sutton office 2 days/week.
With ambitious growth plans aimed at increasing income by over 60% in the next 5 years, the charity has exciting plans to grow and diversify the supporter base as well as develop audience first supporter journeys to provide donors with the best possible experience and maximise the lifetime value.
Supporter Retention & Development, you will play a pivotal role in the Individual Giving team. You will be working on the development and delivery of multi-channel (online and offline) activity and campaigns for Supporter Retention & Development including conversion, upgrade, reactivation, cross-selling, cash appeals & in memory income. You work towards building the Supporter Retention & Development programme, focusing on growing income, the supporter base and improved engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proven experience of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment to deliver significant returns and supporter satisfaction, especially through supporter retention & development programmes
- Understanding of the effective development and use of supporter contact strategies
- Strong project-management experience, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns
- Experience of Individual Giving retention and acquisition programmes

As the Philanthropy Manager, you will join a collaborative fundraising team and focus on building upon existing and new relationships with major donors to secure income and support. Joining a team of six this role will have great support and will work towards a seven-figure team target. Also, with a prospect research function in the organisation, this role will be engaging qualified donors of all levels. This is a great opportunity to join an impactful organisation whilst also gaining personal development through this role.
To be successful as the Philanthropy Manager you will have proven experience in building and securing relationships with individuals capable of giving gifts of a four, five or six figure level. You will ideally have done this previously within a fundraising environment and understand how to engage potential donors. This person will ideally be passionate about the work IRC delivers and be excited to work with a collaborative team to achieve their fundraising goals.
This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices 1-2 days per week. The salary for this role is £45,000.

A leading UK charity, Camphill Village Trust support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental-ill health and complex needs to lead a life of opportunity. They are proud to support over 600 adults across nine communities and services throughout England via supported living and day placement opportunities.
As Individual Giving Executive for Camphill Village Trust, you will project manage a range of Individual Giving (IG) campaigns, mainly through engagement of existing donors, across a range of channels, including direct mail, email and social media. You will seek to maximise income and provide high levels of supporter engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in meeting / exceeding fundraising targets in a similar Individual Giving fundraising role. You will possess proficient project management skills and have delivered projects on time and within budget. Excellent verbal and written communications are imperative as is the ability to form and develop positive relationships with people at all levels.
