This full-time role is based at our office in central London a minimum of three days per week, with some flexible working. The salary is within the range of £42,000 to £48,000, dependent on experience. About the Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP)
The Brent Centre for Young People is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 700 young people a year with a wide range of issues. Fundraising at BCYP
BCYP has historically been very successful in raising funds from non-statutory sources, particularly trusts and foundations, and is grateful to hold a number of established relationships with grant- makers. We work hard to ensure that we submit excellent, data-driven applications and evaluations. Until now, applications have largely been submitted by our Fundraising Manager- Trusts & Foundations, with occasional support from a freelance bid-writer. We now want to recruit a new member of the team, to help us to grow our income stream in this area and help us to steward these key relationships.
In this exciting newly created role, you will be responsible for helping to grow our income from grant- makers to design and promote funding opportunities, and to steward relationships with supporters through the giving cycle. We are looking for a fundraiser with at least three to four years of experience in identifying prospects and grant-writing, and who has experienced success in securing funds. The role
The Senior Network Fundraising Manager is a new and vital role, created to maximise income generation across FareShare’s national team and 18 Network Partners. This role is integral to driving collaboration and establishing a strategic approach to fundraising across multiple sites.
FareShare has a vibrant national fundraising department that has consistently grown the organisation’s new and existing income streams in recent years. As we have grown, so have our regional delivery partners, who are independent charities, each investing in their own fundraising to sustain larger operations. The Senior Network Fundraising Manager will join FareShare’s Fundraising Leadership Team to enhance these efforts through strategic collaboration and clearly defined ways of working to maximise opportunities across our income streams.
Central to this role is the development and co-design of a strategic plan for fundraising across FareShare and our Network Partners. This plan will ensure we are better equipped for income generation, adopting consistent ways of working and a co-ordinated approach, which avoids overlapping our respective audiences and keeps the supporter at the heart of our decision making.
The Senior Network Fundraising Manager will facilitate and coordinate fundraising activities across multiple partners. This requires involving and inspiring key stakeholders, managing conflicts, setting clear expectations and responsibilities and driving continuous improvements to the way we work together. The role will ensure that the tools, frameworks, resources, monitoring and evaluation methods, and relationships are in place to successfully share information, champion successes and build new funding opportunities across FareShare and our Network Partners.
The role offers a fantastic and unique opportunity to develop a new strategic approach to fundraising across multiple charity partners, operating under the same brand and mission. You will have a strong track record in income generation, and experience or understanding of organisations working together in a federative structure. Cross-team collaboration is crucial to the role, and you will demonstrate strong relationship building, communication and influencing skills.
Main areas of responsibility
1. Lead the development of a Network Fundraising Strategy, incorporating co-designed ways of working and objectives across FareShare Network Partners.
2. Lead on culture change and new ways of working to ensure network partners are consulted and considered in all new fundraising activity.
3. Manage and coordinate FareShare’s monthly forum of network fundraisers and foster a culture of best practice, collective effort, collaboration and learning.
4. Identify network-wide investment projects and support the development of joint funding bids to secure significant income for FareShare and our partners.
5. Ensure national fundraising activity gives full consideration to network fundraising and its potential to be delivered locally.
6. Investigate and take learnings from how local fundraising activity could grow and be delivered nationally.
7. Stay abreast of all Network Partner fundraising activity, financial performance and longer-term business plans.
8. Act as the main point of connection for the flow of information between Network Partners and FareShare’s national fundraising team.
9. Champion the work of the network fundraising teams in cross-department and cross-organisation forums.
10. Track progress against strategy objectives and regularly review ways of working.
11. Play an active role in the leadership of FareShare’s fundraising team and the delivery of our national fundraising strategy.

The Supporter-led Fundraising (SLF) Department at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for mass fundraising through enabling individuals and communities to support ARUK through their own talents and passions. The team drives registrations and income through third party, virtual and mass participation events and manages these relationships to maximise income.
The Central Fundraising Team is the beating heart of SLF as they work across Regional, Sporting Events and Marketing & Engagement teams to ensure our supporters receive incredible stewardship to achieve their fundraising goals. They ensure processes are in place to allow teams to work together effectively and maximise opportunities and innovation that come through online fundraising platforms and fundraisers.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Line Management
· Line management of two Central Fundraising Executives and Senior Central Fundraising Officer.
· Monitor, review, and empower the team to ensure effective communication and place CFT as the heart of SLF.
· Support all CFT to reach their non-financial targets.
· Work with Senior Manager and Senior officer to deliver monthly meetings with the whole team to share ideas and creativity, gather feedback and understand successes and challenges.
· Spot potential development opportunities across the team.
Monitoring and Reporting
· Ensure the fundraising CRM is being used consistently across CFT the wider SLF department to facilitate accurate supporter stewardship and financial reporting.
· Effectively understand and communicate reporting processes undertaken by the CFT and gather feedback to ensure these are the most effective for both teams.
· Act as Lead for the Fundraising CRM use for the Community Fundraising Managers, RFOs and Central Fundraising Team to allow accurate, insightful, and consistent reporting.
· Provide the CFT and regionally based teams with the tools they need for effective working relationships.
· Provide a monthly Department Report update for CFT as well as ad-hoc reporting when required.
· Use data and trends to support the SLF leadership team in in budgeting and forecasting.
· Work closely with the Data and Digital teams to monitor SLF’s contactable supporter base and segmentation.
· Assess and address Salesforce training needs across SLF
· Proactively Identify and Resolve Salesforce Issues, escalating to Senior Central Fundraising Manager where appropriate.
Supporter Stewardship
· Lead on the delivery of a unified approach to supporter care across SLF, including use of data, automation, product development and LTV.
· Monitor and gather feedback from employees and supporters about our stewardship and ‘surprise and delight’ offerings, constantly seeking creative and inspirational new stewardship methods and relevant improvements.
· Coordinate the re-engagement stewardship project for all SLF teams, with structured content input from Managers and direction from the CFM responsible for DIY fundraising.
· Inspire and train the CFT to nurture active fundraisers and build relationships to increase long-term loyalty.
· Frequently analyse and understand SLF supporter journeys to ensure they are consistent, ensure collaboration and idea sharing and offer the best level of stewardship for the supporter.
· Understand and analyse how RFOs and CFT steward supporters through to ensure cohesion, passing of leads between teams and sharing best practice across the wider team at all times
· Regularly review and analyse the supporter chase process to ensure we are receiving funds in a timely manner.
· Review and analyse the tiering system regularly to ensure it is fit for purpose and is offering the supporter the best stewardship journey.
· Lead on the implementation of recommendations from the annual mystery shopping exercise.
Project Management
· Become the lead for projects which involve the whole or majority of SLF to ensure tasks are delegated fairly and completed on time. Examples include Skydiving Days and Last Hour of Pay as well as platforms such as Tiltify and GivePanel.
· Be the central expert for SLF-wide process and projects, gathering experience and knowledge from all SLF teams and provide efficient and helpful updates accordingly.
Strategy and Operational Planning
· Provide creative and innovative suggestions for new supporter engagement and online fundraising products and projects. Work closely with the Senior Officers to implement and see through to completion.
· Identify opportunities for growth and diversification within the Online Fundraising space.
· Make recommendations on team structure and resource as part of the Ops Planning process.
· Work with the Director of Supporter-led fundraising to develop our strategic approach to innovation around digital and gaming channels.
Collaboration
· Support the CFT Senior Officer in overseeing the joint working between the Central Fundraising Team, the Regional Fundraising Officers and the Sporting Events Officers ensuring that supporters are given the best level of stewardship.
· Work closely with the Marketing & Engagement Team to share trends, learnings and collaborate on new projects and automated stewardship journeys.
· Continue to improve communications across all departments to ensure all resources are available across all teams.
· To ensure the team is the centre point of SLF and sharing communications regularly and have a good understanding of what is happening across each department.
· Work closely with managers from SLF Departments to ascertain workloads for the rest of CFT and ensure support is consistent across the department. To gain feedback from the different departments as to how processes are working and review for potential changes.
· Continue to review the level of support the team will offer to each SLF Department and ensure this is followed.
· Monitoring CFT and RFO KPIs/Goals to ensure consistency.

The Role: This is an exciting new position for a highly motivated, organized, and analytical individual with the opportunity to make a real difference in a growing organization. As our Government Fundraising Specialist, you will be at the forefront of implementing our government fundraising strategy. This role involves a blend of research, advocacy, strategic proposal development, and guidance on contractual and donor compliance. IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. Key Fundraising Responsibilities
- Develop communications content that will invigorate our existing donors and inspire new ones leading to increased giving by individuals to IPWSO.
- Focusing in particular on our website and social media channels, communicate our achievements, impacts and needs with a view to influencing IPWSO’s online supporters to make donations and engage in fundraising initiatives.

We are working in partnership with Weston Hospicecare, a highly regarded local charity founded by the local community over 30 years ago. They are the major provider of specialist palliative care in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, and Sedgemoor, providing free of charge physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual care to local people.
A new Director of Fundraising is sought to provide inspiring leadership to the fundraising function of Weston Hospicecare, implementing a fundraising strategy that will build voluntary income from its current level of £2 million per annum to provide long-term and sustainable income sources for the Hospice.
