We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Marketing Manager - Fundraising Campaigns. We need you to support the Senior Manager to develop the product marketing strategy, plan, and budget for an exciting portfolio of Social Fundraising Challenges, Stand Up To Cancer, and DIY fundraising. Further to this, you'll manage the delivery of the product marketing plan, meeting KPIs, to time and budget.

What will I be doing?

• Supporting the Senior Manager to translate the Fundraising & Marketing operating plan and budget into a product marketing plan and budget

• Defining and developing the audiences and product offerings that need activating as part of this marketing plan and manage the development and delivery of cross-channel integrated briefs

• Managing the planning, set-up, delivery and analysis of integrated multi-channel campaigns that meet and exceed specific product KPIs

• Managing the content and creative production, testing and optimisation process, ensuring campaign assets are fully aligned with Brand messaging and other communications themes

• Working alongside the Senior Manager to motivate the Executives and matrix manage specialist Digital Marketing & Delivery teams to deliver activity across channels

• Collaborating with teams across Audience & Product Marketing to identify and implement strategic marketing opportunities and ensure holistic supporter journeys for product audiences

• Working with digital and data experts from across marketing and the wider organisation to improve communications and better engage our audiences

• Managing the continuous testing and analysis of campaigns, spotting opportunities to optimise ongoing activity and making recommendations to improve the effectiveness of future campaigns

• Working with the Insight team and Senior Marketing Performance Manager to drive development of the marketing strategy and feed learnings into the planning process.

What skills are we looking for?

• Significant experience translating marketing strategy into tactical delivery plans by channel, audience, and budget

• Significant experience overseeing the delivery of paid marketing campaigns

• Significant experience planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns that meet campaign KPIs

• Strong understanding of end-to-end supporter journeys and the role of different channels in fully integrated campaigns

• Relevant experience of managing and motivating agencies to drive maximum value from relationships

• Relevant line and matrix management experience with proven leadership skills and the ability to manage competing priorities for yourself and others

• Data-driven with a strong understanding of UX principles and relevant experience of interpreting results and recommending opportunities for optimisation

• Relevant experience of developing highly effective campaign assets for use across channels

• Excellent project management skills including resource and risk management

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.

The Sanctuary (Crisis Café) is a service for all residents experiencing emotional distress. The café is weekdays during the evening and at weekends in the afternoon. We provide initial support meetings both face to face and via the telephone, workign with clients to resolve immediate distress, and explore coping mechanisms. We then coproduce support plans with clients and offer 121’s, counselling, peer support groups and workshops as well as a social place to be.  

The support worker will be experienced in working with people in distress or who have mental health issues, highly organised and have excellent people skills.  A minimum of 3 shifts per week is required.

The service is open 7 days a week:

4.30-10pm Monday – Friday and 12 – 6pm Saturday and Sunday (Barnet)

5-10pm Monday – Friday and 12 – 5pm Saturday and Sunday (Enfield)

37.5 hours per week

Hybrid role - up to 1 day a week from home

As a central part of the HR team, the HR Administrator helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Acting as the first friendly face for staff and managers, from supporting day-to-day administrative operations to partnering with HR Business Partners, the postholder helps create a positive, people-first experience across the organisation aligned with the Hospice’s values.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Team and Service Support

• Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries (phone, email, in person) escalating where necessary.
• Monitor shared and team inboxes, providing administrative support to the HR team.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships across the hospice.
• Support the HR Business Partners in all areas of HR delivery including policy updates and audit process.
• Coordinate, arrange and take minutes at key meetings.
• Manage stationery and stock supplies for the HR team.

2. Recruitment and Onboarding

• Draft and publish job adverts and vacancy packs to internal and external platforms.
• Assist hiring managers with shortlisting, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
• Carry out all pre-employment checks, including references, DBS, right-to-work, and Occupational health.
• Prepare offer letters and contracts of employment.
• Add new starters to the HR System and order fobs and name badges.
• Organise and deliver new starter HR inductions.

3. HR Systems and Administration

• Maintain accurate personnel records in line with GDPR and hospice procedures.
• Manage key compliance tasks including DBS renewals, right-to-work checks, and professional registration monitoring.
• Report on HR metrics.
• Maintain the HR Portal and rota management system.
• Process payroll changes including starters, leavers, absences, contractual changes and other miscellaneous updates.
• Produce and issue routine HR communication (maternity, leaver, probation letters).
• Manage employee benefits and general employee administration queries.
• Track and support performance review and probation processes.
• Support managers with absence management administration, escalating complex matters to the HR Business Partners.

• Delivering budgets and forecasts for each client, property and tenancy, using complex data from the MRI Horizon general ledger and other systems, Hyperion and Excel tools to provide accurate and meaningful financial information

JOB PURPOSE 

This exciting role focuses on raising income for the Start Network and its global initiatives, including the Start Fund, Start Ready, innovation and the expansion of a locally led network. The postholder will be an experienced trusts and / or corporate fundraiser who wants a role focused on business and relationship development. They will be responsible for an exciting portfolio of existing and prospective funders (that give 6-7 figure grants), adopting a relational approach to fundraising. 

You will be responsible for carrying out prospect donor mapping, growing a fundraising pipeline, building relationships with prominent foundations and corporates in the humanitarian space, writing technical proposals as required, pitching to donors well-articulated concepts, and building fundraising capacity within the organisation. 

It is critical that the postholder is comfortable with developing new relations. We have grown a significant number of new donors within our Foundations and Corporates over the last few years, and we hope to continue the growth of the team in this exciting role, so proof of having grown an income stream is key.

Key deliverables expected from this role

Here are some of the key deliverables expected from the role in the first 12 months.

1. Programme delivery - youth engagement

• Expand our recent successful pilot project: ‘Healthy relationships for young women and girls’. 

This will include:

• In person delivery, in Sheffield.

• Project planning, session planning, promotion campaign to reach potential participants, facilitation of sessions and/or managing freelance facilitators, impact measurement, reporting.

• Deliver our annual cycle of engaging our Youth Advisory Board (remote, online delivery). This will include:

  • Planning and facilitating sessions via Zoom (supported by our Social Media & Comms Officer); impact measurement and reporting; safeguarding and managing the engagement and retention of members. 

2. Programme delivery - digital content and campaigns

• Delivery of our planned ‘Sexual health Q&As between young people & doctors’ campaign. This will include:

  • A series of video content, co-created with young people, for a social media campaign and series of associated website articles on the Fumble website. 

3. Supporting our safeguarding

• Supporting safeguarding at Fumble, as our Designated Safeguarding Officer. You’ll bring previous experience of effective safeguarding to help us build on our policy and practice. 

• This will include:

  • Conduct / manage annual safeguarding training for Fumble team & stakeholder groups

  • Maintain DBS checks

  • Communicate with external safeguarding agencies & expert advisors (where relevant)

  • Ensure safeguarding info is visible on the website and in sessions, and 

  • Ensure safeguarding continues to be embedded in a meaningful way across all of Fumble’s activities. 

4. Impact measurement

• Participate in the team’s development of our recently introduced impact measurement framework

• Design any additional tools needed for evaluating youth sessions, campaigns, and content.

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data (e.g. surveys, feedback forms, analytics).

• Report on outcomes and impact.

• Engage young people in co-evaluation methods where possible.

5. Supporting our fundraising 

• Participate in the team’s collective fundraising efforts. This includes:

  • identifying funding opportunities for Fumble, writing and reviewing bids, and writing reports for funders.

The Eikon Charity helps children and young people in Surrey to feel and be safe, heard, and supported. Through one-to-one support, group work, and programmes in schools, Eikon helps children build confidence, resilience, and the skills they will need to navigate life’s challenges.

This is a senior fundraising role within Eikon’s Trusts & Grants team, focused on generating significant voluntary income from charitable trusts, foundations, and local government funders. With an overall team target of £1m, this postholder will contribute around £250k per year through a mix of high-quality applications, strategic account management, and relationship building.

The role requires both strong bid writing skills (especially for complex, high-value and multi-year proposals) and excellent interpersonal skills to develop and steward relationships with funders. ROLE OVERVIEW:
