About the role?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team covering North Ayrshire and surrounding area. About the role
As the Deputy Manager you will:

We’re looking for someone to train as a Community Energy Champion to be able to provide energy advice to people in communities.
You will visit clients at home to complete Home Energy Audits, providing information and individualised support, and facilitating access to options which will improve people’s wellbeing and energy security. This will include recommending grants and helping complete applications and forms.

The team works with unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers and you will carry out home visits and community meetings, complete assessments, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Unpaid Carers, families, and professionals. The sessions will offer opportunities for Unpaid Carers to meet with peers, develop confidence, learn new skills, reduce social isolation, and improve their own wellbeing.

Overview of Role:
As a Support Worker, you will be working with young people aged 12-25 years old who have experience of self-harm. Within that age group, you will predominantly be working with young people under 18. The post would suit an experienced support worker, preferably with knowledge of the issues experienced by young people who are trans / non-binary.
You will play a key role in providing them with support and advocacy both on a one to-one basis and within a group setting; working with them to develop their emotional skills which will allow them to cope more effectively with the difficulties in their lives. The nature of the work means role that the successful candidate must focus on inclusivity for the young people.
The successful candidate will have considerable experience in working with young people aged 12-25 and will enjoy the challenge of working with adolescents in difficult circumstances. You will need to be able to work within a non-discriminatory framework, ensuring the services are provided in a qualitative, responsive, and accessible manner.
The Amber Project exists to support any young person (aged 14-25) in Cardiff and the surrounding areas who has experience of self-harm. With our Constellation element working with young people aged 12-25. Since The Amber project was established in 2002 individual support and creative
workshops have been key elements of our work with young people.
Salary: £13,406 per annum (£26,812.00 per annum FTE).
Hours: 20 hours per week. Working pattern to be agreed with the line manager but will include late afternoons and early evenings to facilitate meeting with young people outside of school hours and attending workshops. Occasional weekends.

Barnardo's and Amazon have joined together to pilot a project which aims to support and transform the lives of young people who are not in education, employment, or training. The pilot took place in Tilbury, Essex, and due to the success, we are developing further sites across the nation. The aim of the programme is to equip young people aged 18-29 with the skills, confidence, and ambition to pursue their goals of finding employment, apprenticeships or further education and training. The role will provide a pivotal support to the Barnardo's programme in Coventry and surrounding areas. Working with vulnerable young people who are not in education, employment or training, this role focuses on supporting young people through a 10week motivational programme and includes improving employability skills, confidence, and self-esteem work.
You will work assertively and creatively to engage with hard-to-reach young people. You will lead and develop the work in this area and will be responsible for providing quality Information, Advice and Guidance.

The Programme Manager is an exciting and influential role at RCPCH Global, a specialist unit within the College, in which you will lead the management of our maternal and child health programmes in Nepal and Myanmar, with some support for our work in Rwanda. Based in our London office, you will oversee the implementation of the programmes, including the delivery of high-quality programme activities.
As Programme Manager, you will monitor and manage all financial and budgetary aspects of the programme in compliance with donor requirements and take the lead on all programme reporting to donors, maintaining and ensuring high-quality programme monitoring and evaluation processes are adhered to.
Crucially, you will be responsible for liaising with local programme counterparts and stakeholders in the field, which may include regular field visits. You will also take the lead on the recruitment and management of long-term programme volunteer clinicians, as well as short-term advisory consultants, for the programme.
In addition to wider donor liaison, you will help develop new programme grant agreements with a preliminary focus on UNICEF and the James Percy Foundation, as well as promoting RCPCH Global activities to external stakeholders.
Suitably qualified in international development, public health, international and global health, health systems strengthening and child health, or with equivalent work experience, you should have excellent project/programme management skills and have a background in a relevant international/development management or implementation role.
With demonstrable experience of designing, initiating and leading complex programme development processes, including with senior government counterparts, local partner organisations and international and multilateral donor agencies, you should have a significant understanding of budget management and financial reporting, including to bilateral and multilateral donors.
Previous experience of successfully managing large complex programmes, including supporting field-programme teams both remotely and in the field, within the international development and/or health sectors is essential, whilst experience of working in developing countries would be desirable.
Although based in London, this role may include some travel to Nepal. Additional travel to Rwanda as part of support role may be required.
RCPCH Global is a unit within RCPCH which designs and manages a range of international projects and programmes to improve neonatal, child and adolescent health, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Our programmes use teams of skilled clinicians and other health professionals to work with counterparts in targeted low-income countries to train and mentor doctors, nurses and other health workers, as a means of helping to build the capacity and quality of the health systems in those countries.
The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. We advocate on child health issues at home and internationally. Additionally, through a variety of activities, the College influences the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community.
The RCPCH has more than 22,000 members and fellows and employs around 200 staff, most of whom work in our London office in Holborn. We have smaller offices in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Cranstoun is a social justice and harm reduction charity empowering people to empower change. We offer a wide range of services across England within drug and alcohol, domestic abuse, children and young people’s services, criminal justice and housing.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the children and young people’s team for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to be part of shaping and delivering a new early support youth hub pilot within Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Dudley. The hub will support people aged 13+ and those who feel they still require a young people’s approach up to 25. It brings together the specialisms of Cranstoun, complimented by wider partnership delivery and lead areas of responsibility.
We have three positions, each to have a lead theme area, including relationships, youth engagement and emotional health and wellbeing. As this is a pilot, these lead themes may change and develop depending upon the needs of young people and the service. (Please state your preference during your application).
You will be the first point of contact within the youth hub, providing initial information, advice and guidance and facilitating connections to other support or specialist services. You will be expected to provide a range of planned engagement activities/clubs and undertake wellbeing coaching for those who need help. There will be an element of promotion and outreach within local schools and colleges to encourage young people to attend.
This early support youth hub will play a crucial role in providing: -
· Accessible open access information, advice and guidance.
· Tailored emotional and practical support that is trauma informed.
· Timetable of access for partner agencies including sexual health, substance use, mental health.
· Promoting positive well-being through themed events and clubs.
· Preventing escalation including wellbeing coaching to those who access the hub that may need short term goals focused support.
It will serve as an easy to access, youth friendly space, which will allow young people to get help at the earliest opportunity.

About this key role
As a Trainer, you will be embedded within a prison-based setting and expected to assess the suitability of applicants to become Wellbeing peer supporters and to complete the Learning to Advise course, which includes sessions on confidentiality, equality act, safeguarding and case notes and other relevant training. You will then prepare, plan, and deliver the Learning to Advise assured course to individuals in prison, ensuring the completion of all relevant paperwork in a timely manner and delivering any additional Emotional Resilience/Wellbeing units necessary to individuals participating.
We will also rely on you to work with allocated learners to produce realistic assessment plans and to provide one-to-one support to learners as appropriate, whilst monitoring their progress towards timely completion and certification. Working in partnership with Big Dog Little Dog to design, adapt and deliver emotional resilience/wellbeing training sessions is also a key element of this role, as is working constructively with colleagues to achieve pilot targets and supporting local community projects with advertising, recruiting, and facilitating ROTLS.
What we are looking for
• Experience of working to targets and recording information and statistics to enable effective monitoring of performance against targets
• Level 3 Certificate in Education and Training or equivalent teaching/assessor certification
• An understanding of the issues faced by project participants in accessing and sustaining training or employment and how these can be overcome
• The ability to demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the issues faced by our client group, in particular barriers faced by people first entering prison
• The ability to support and motivate learners with multiple complex needs and to apply a creative approach to learning and assessing
• The ability to effectively assess evidence and identify assessment criteria using a range of assessment methods
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, verbal and written.

Location: Home-based West Cornwall, with frequent travel across Cornwall required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role
The project funded by the Elwyn Thomas Memorial Fund will deliver an Emotional Support Service as well as through collaborative community working, will result in valuable assets for the community. In the shape of self-sustaining peer and volunteer led support through groups, partnerships and activities.
Reporting to the Emotional Support Service Manager, the team will deliver a professional counselling service to stroke survivors, carers and relatives. Counselling sessions are designed to help clients to develop emotional resilience, readjust to life after stroke and prepare to reintegrate into community life.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Providing one to one counselling to stroke survivors, carers and relatives including those with communication or cognitive difficulties
· Providing counselling sessions in person, on-line or by telephone, throughout Cornwall
· Assessing the appropriateness of counselling for service users by providing emotional needs assessment sessions as well as using appropriate screening/evaluation tools (e.g. PHQ and GAD)
· Managing risk and safeguarding issues in accordance with appropriate legal, ethical and organisational requirements.
About You
You will have:
· An advanced diploma in integrative, humanistic or person-centred counselling/psychotherapy; for example, BACP recognised course or equivalent (i.e. 450 hours skills and theory, 100 hours of supervised practice, 20 hours of personal therapy)
· A minimum of 1 year post qualification supervised clinical practice
· BACP registration (or equivalent) and actively working towards accreditation
· Experience of delivering short-term counselling
· Experience of working with people with cognitive impairment
This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role. You must live in the West area of Cornwall to fulfil this travel requirement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the children and young people’s team and be part of a new and pioneering pilot at Merry Hill shopping centre in Dudley. Within the role of a Service Manager, you will shape, develop and lead the team to provide an early support youth hub, supporting young people aged 13 – 25yrs. It will serve as an easy to access, youth friendly space which will allow young people to get help at the earliest opportunity.
The hub will provide: -
· Accessible open access information, advice and guidance that is available Tuesdays – Fridays 3-7pm and Saturdays.
· Tailored emotional and practical support that is trauma informed.
· Timetable of access for partner agencies including sexual health, substance use, mental health.
· Promoting positive well-being through themed events and clubs.
· Preventing escalation including wellbeing coaching to those who access the hub that may need short term goals focused support.
You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the hub, including staff supervision/performance, safeguarding, day to day delivery and implementing a wellbeing coaching model. You will need to have a strong understanding of how to maintain close working relationships with stakeholder and partnership organisations. Your role will include working with your team to achieve performance related targets across the outcome’s framework, achieving standards/kitemarks, managing the partnerships, especially with regards to data and information sharing for those using the hub, audits, HR related matters, H&S, budgets, and supporting ongoing funding applications.

You will empower and support them to ensure their voices are heard within decision–making processes that effect their lives and keep in regularly contact with children and young people to ensure their best interests are safeguarded.
