Are you an experienced and creative marketing professional who thrives on collaboration and problem-solving? Girlguiding is looking for a Marketing lead to develop and manage exciting strategies that reach more volunteers and girls through paid marketing channels, and inspire them to join us.
In this role, you'll lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of multi-channel paid campaigns, working closely with our media agency and internal teams to ensure activity is insight-led, inclusive, and aligned with our objectives. You'll use audience research, testing strategies, and analytics to drive continuous improvement and maximise impact.

We're looking for a finance operations lead to help drive accruate, reliable and efficient financial processing across our organsation.
In this key role, you'll:
- Oversee the processing and reconcilitation of financial transactions
- Support the preparation of annual accounts and external audits
- Collaborate with HR on monthly payroll processing
- Be the key contact for day-to-day banking, credit card and investment matters
- Provide direct financial support to our units and members.

Girlguiding operates a hybrid working arrangement where office based staff are required to attend the office on average two days a week, or 40% of working time across the year. Location allowance is payable to those who work in accordance with out hybrid working model. Are you an experienced and passionate fundraiser with a talent for creating connections and building strong relationships? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
As part of Girlguiding's wider Fundraising department, this role will focus on fundraising through Trusts, Foundations, and Statutory opportunities. We're looking for someone who has experience in raising philanthropic income and who is passionate about creating change and opportunity for girls and young women across the UK.
Key responsibilities
You'll work closely with colleagues across Girlguiding's incredible organisation to identify, secure, and steward grants. You'll support our team to:
- create high-quality, well researched and well written funding proposals
- proactively lead on prospect research for projects across the organisation who can join us and help empower and support girls and young women
- manage relationships with significant funders, to ensure high quality and deliver outstanding stewardship
- utilise database and administrative skills to contribute to excellent record keeping
- develop strong market and fundraising intelligence to further support wider new business as well as existing relationships
- work closely with colleagues across the executive and senior leadership team, understanding the importance of stakeholder engagement

This role is a key member of a small team of the Girlguiding North West England Region Office. Under the leadership of the Executive Manager. This role will contribute to the provision of a range of services to support membership growth. The successful applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must be able to build positive relationships with staff and volunteers at all levels and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. This role sits within the Growth & Development team and is line-managed by the Head of Membership Growth & Adventure; the role holder will have responsibility for growing Guiding.
